@@garmit61 I think rutssy just means it's not one that's raved about a lot. I've never heard anybody saying anything negative about it. A lot of people do underrate Presence. But it's one of my favorite Zep albums.
Even though song is written by Willie Johnson, it is one of my favs by Zeppelin. Sick thing is nobody reviews this song, so kudos that she reviewed it.
Jon is a master. But there are a few other guys who are pretty good too like Neil Peart from Rush, Dave Lombardo from Slayer, Buddy Rich. Those guys are pretty good too.
I think the most incredible thing about Led Zeppelin is how many AMAZING songs flew under the radar... I enjoy watching reactors get to the point where they’ve reacted to like 10 Zeppelin songs, and they ask “do these guys make any bad songs?”... most bands are lucky to create 10 truly great songs in their career, but Led Zeppelin has more like 50 ;) Great reaction as always Scribe! “The Wanton Song”, “the Rover”, and “Sick Again” are three kick ass songs from Physical Graffiti that you should check out 👍
I won't give you a thumbs down, however I disagree with your statement. I would retort in saying you missed by 50 songs... after reading- I highly respect your attention directed to The Wanton Song !
@@mikezak8812 Yeah fair enough, I should have said "well over 50 great songs"... point taken ;) In 1998, when I was 17, I saw Page/Plant in my hometown and they opened the show with "the wanton song", so it will always have a special spot for me. I love how much tension builds with the opening chords ... then at around 1 minute in all the tension resolves with Jimmy's immaculate descending riffs.
I love the album “Presence”. Very underrated album and unjustly so. But it’s a superb album in its own right. It also turned out to be the second to last Led Zeppelin album ever made. Shortly after recording its follow up, “In Through The Out Door” (also a fantastic album) John Bonham, the drummer for Led Zeppelin and hands down the greatest rock drummer of all time, died tragically from alcohol related asphyxiation in 1980 at the age of only 32. And that was it. The rest of the band could not go on without him. And it became a tragic ending for the greatest band in rock history. But the world would never forget Bonham and all these years later, we still revere him, Zeppelin still sells albums, people still love and listen to their music and its endured for decades. In that way Zeppelin, and John Bonham, will live forever.
the more I listen to zeppelin the more obvious it is that John Bonham is arguably the most important to the band. He was the perfect drummer for the other 3 members of the band. There is no way they could have continued following his death
This was always one of my favorites. I knew you'd like the harmonica part. I would play this then bump one track to Hots on for nowhere and pictures would fall off the wall, the shade would fall off the lamp...
Robert has rarely pulled out the harmonica. But when he does, Oh man. Dirty, raw. I've listened to this tune literally hundreds over the decades. Each time focusing in on the different instruments.
This entire album is very tasty. For some reason it doesn't get the love their earlier albums do, but it really showcases Zep's funkier side, injected with a strong dose of the best rhythm section eva!
Led Zeppelin was and always will be the greatest rock and roll band of all time. Break down the individual talent of the band and it's amazing, and what can you say about Jimmy Page, pure genius in action and Robert Plant a voice like no other, the rest of the band John Paul Jones, bass, is so underrated, he turns the bass into a weapon and his mastery on keyboards and mandolin is unbeatable, then John ' bonzo' Bonham on drums, the man is an animal, a machine!!!!!
If I would have had a 72 Monte Carlo back in 1976 I would have been listening to this song or any of the previous Led Zeppelin songs on my 8-track tape
One of the things you missing my just tearing the song, is the gentlemen's performance singing that song. The handsome young Lads drove the girls crazy
i used to drum this song when i was a young dude in the darkness in my mom's cellar when learning. loud! and i thought i had left the planet!! long long ago!! best of times
One of my favorites. It’s based of an old gospel song by Blind Willie Johnson from the 20’s. It’s take me to church good. The stop and starts are just great.
Greatest rock and roll recording ever. One mans opinion. ‘Presence’ was the first album I ever bought with my own money. “For Your Life” also finds its way into my Zeppelin Top 10.
Let me remind all and encourage everyone who might have missed them to go back and watch ...... BUT 2 of the most epic reactions on the ScribeCash channel were Zep’s “Since I’ve Been Loving You from MSG” and the studio version of “You Shook Me”. Do yourself a favor and check them out!
You kinda figured out why Led Zeppelin is considered the greatest rock band of all time. These guys knew how to use silence , an unexpected harmonica riff from vocalist Robert Plant, and the human drum machine known as John Bohham to their best capacity. This band's versatility says a lot. They're way more than hard-driving classic rock. They know the blues as well, and even more acoustic stuff...like "Going to California."
How great are those drums!!! John Henry Bonham. If you haven't checked out the studio version of "Since I've Been Loving You" I think you will love it.
Killer song, great reaction! That album has a couple other killer songs: Achilles Last Stand and (my pick) For You Life. For Your Life features Jimmy Page on a Fender Stratocaster, unusual for him as he mostly played a Les Paul and Telecaster in the old days. He discovers the whammy bar on For Your Life and it sounds awesome.
One of my favorite, yet somewhat obscure Led Zeppelin songs. Thank you for reacting to this one.... I have been asking all my favorite "reactors" to do this song for months. I agree with everything you said. A total eargasm. And how about Robert Plant's harmonica solo? That was totally kick-ass!
Sister may I say you have good perspective & really seem to have your head screwed on right as well as a very good outlook. Keep up the good work, you're awesome & know what you're talking about.
Damn right that's a harmonica...and one of the best drummers ever.
Another underrated Zeppelin song. The transitions are incredible. An eargasm!
This is one of my favs from LZ. Not a lot of people are familiar with it
No idea who’s doing the underrating. This is Zep at their best
@@garmit61 I think rutssy just means it's not one that's raved about a lot. I've never heard anybody saying anything negative about it. A lot of people do underrate Presence. But it's one of my favorite Zep albums.
I rate it highly
Even though song is written by Willie Johnson, it is one of my favs by Zeppelin. Sick thing is nobody reviews this song, so kudos that she reviewed it.
Yep, Robert Plant on the harmonica. Love this song!
I love the way they use silence in this song
Yah. It creates that great moment of tension and suspense.
Masterful contrast between tight silence and hard hits.
Jon Bonham is the best drummer off alltime.
Jon is a master. But there are a few other guys who are pretty good too like Neil Peart from Rush, Dave Lombardo from Slayer, Buddy Rich. Those guys are pretty good too.
As a neophyte to LZ, you could listen to any song 5 times in a row, and still not expect what Bonham does next.
Fact Check: True
Neal Peart...nuf said!
Bonham, peart .
This is my favorite Zeppelin tune to play! 🥁🥁🔥🔥
From an old 1930`s song by Blind Willie Johnson....

They're the only band I can't think of that have almost all of their songs regularly played on the radio
We sometimes lose sight of the great debt rock music owes to blues, but Zeppelin reminds us all of that time and again.
only girl to cover my favourite Led Zep song love you lots dear.

My fav Zep track - good one Scribe - keep it funky 😊👋💥👀👍🏻💕
Beatles and Zep best bands ever
This was always one of my favorites. I knew you'd like the harmonica part. I would play this then bump one track to Hots on for nowhere and pictures would fall off the wall, the shade would fall off the lamp...
A totally unique and awesome song. "Achilles Last Stand"off the same album is also a banger.
One of those quintessential Zep tunes. It has all the elements. Excellent choice. No others are reacting to this. #HammerOfTheGODS
Achilles last stand, another fire track of that album that you need to react
Achilles last stand knebsworth.
Robert has rarely pulled out the harmonica. But when he does, Oh man. Dirty, raw. I've listened to this tune literally hundreds over the decades. Each time focusing in on the different instruments.
Bonham, king of the timing patterns no ever even thought to do.
This is such a great song! FYI...they did this live too!
Yes and I Waz there .

There isn't Any underrated Zeppelin songs
Cause most blow
👍🇬🇧❤ AND ON THE 8TH DAY...... ❤GOD❤ CREATED.....LED ZEPPELIN 🎸.....BEST BAND EVER !!!!!!!!!

Thats John Bonham on the drums. One of the best ever. RIP
Stairway to Heaven is a MUST
( best way to describe Robert Plant's GOLDEN VOICE = a cross between Elvis Presley and Rod Stewart , with a sprinkle of Mario Lanza ) 💡
If I would have had a 72 Monte Carlo back in 1976 I would have been listening to this song or any of the previous Led Zeppelin songs on my 8-track tape
Achilles Last Stand is the best song from this album
thx...I had forgotten about this tune!!
Nobody ever talks about how masterful Robert Plant was on the harmonica in so many songs, but he was!
"These drums is saucy". Amen.
I have a replica of the object sitting on my front room coffee table best band ever Led Zeppelin
One of the things you missing my just tearing the song, is the gentlemen's performance singing that song. The handsome young Lads drove the girls crazy
Led Zeppelin-the song remains the same
i used to drum this song when i was a young dude in the darkness in my mom's cellar when learning. loud! and i thought i had left the planet!! long long ago!! best of times
The live version of this song is incredible
This was the ultimate All Star band each member was at the top of their field.
That one of my favorite zep song love it
One of my favorites. It’s based of an old gospel song by Blind Willie Johnson from the 20’s. It’s take me to church good. The stop and starts are just great.
This lady has a good voice herself and a good personality fun to listen to
Time to get the LED out!
Listen closer and you just might discover the brilliance of
Led Zeppelin.
This is the first reaction I've seen to this song. Well done and also your stank face is tops! Bloody genius you are!
Love this song
Ohhh man. This song just kicks ass. Never before and never again Led Zeppelin
Harmonica solo by singer Robert Plant
Let's get LEDgondary Scribe Beauty.
Damn Girl! Checking you out while you are reacting to Zep is pretty sweet! Hey! Nobody's fault but yours!
When the harmonica kicks in it is the milk and the honey 😳
I was wondering who was going to finally react to this banger.
Bonham just goin mad crazy on the drums!!!
In my opinion, this album is the most brutal music ever laid down.
Greatest rock and roll recording ever. One mans opinion. ‘Presence’ was the first album I ever bought with my own money. “For Your Life” also finds its way into my Zeppelin Top 10.
Once you start worshipping at the temple of Led Zeppelin, you never stop.
Led Zeppelin "Fool in the Rain"

Not a bad idea. I think How many more times was blocked but now it's back up.

A vibe. I agree.
Super duper dope that's what it is for sure!
Danzig ."mother" Thanks SCRIBE.LUV YA.
Got love it Scribe!!!
With this song its all about that harmonica break, Robert ripped it up, sounded like a guitar solo Jimmy would do.
This song HITS!!
led zeppelin never made a crap song every song a classic

My fav Zepp song just cause everyone loves Kashmir, " friends" also a good one by them.
How great are those drums!!! John Henry Bonham. If you haven't checked out the studio version of "Since I've Been Loving You" I think you will love it.
One of Page’s monumental riff UNLEASHED!!!!

Hots on for Nowhere is a great party tune.
My favorite song on the album and for many an album.. the start stop funky breaks are incredible.
Take a listen to Zeppelin's "Boogie With Stu". You're welcome! Cheers!!! ;-)

Awesome this one of my top Zep songs grear reaction!

Me too. Rediscovering my vinyl after about 30 years. I have 250 survivors.
A bad azz tune. Good taste 👍😉
Gotta be their heaviest song. It’s fucking electric.
Sister may I say you have good perspective & really seem to have your head screwed on right as well as a very good outlook. Keep up the good work, you're awesome & know what you're talking about.
Some of Gonzo's finest work on the kit for sure.... Thank You for giving this some love!
Making my body move for the past 40 plus years. 8).
The heavy funk train is here!!!!
Fairly obscure pick for a Zepplin song..btw..bought this album when it came out.
Great reaction vid, as always!
Don't leave home without! 409.

One of my favorite Zeppelin songs. Others are Rock and Roll and Hot Dog.
You mean Black Dog?
@@ARain6500 Hot Dog from In Through the Out Door.
steady on girl
you got tha groove
One of the hardest crunching songs in their catalog....recorded during their most turbulent times.
Well maybe Hot Dog? Lol
BONZO! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😎 Mr. Plant was a great blues harp player!
Amazing Sound, i like it
