There are multiple issues and is clearly an unpolished phone with a rushed launch. The fingerprint sensor being slow is okay but being breached by unregistered fingerprint sensors is not okay.
I tried this after the June Security Patch that was received on 2nd August which by itself is not great as the Security patch is not updated in spite of being a Pixel that is being sold on retail!

*My Pixel 6a has no fingerprint issue and I tested it extensively on both the April and June patch.*
As a senior XDA developer I directly inquired with Google Pixel help-desk official and he said it's a bug affecting very few devices (mostly the charcoal Indian variant) that'll be fixed in the coming week or so. It looks like it generally happens when users register multiple fingerprints.
*Pixel 6a is a great all-round device if you get it under 40k.* S21FE, iPhone 12, S20FE 5g and now the Pixel 6a are actually the best all-rounders under 50k period.
*One can obviously look for Chinese vendors who solely focus on performance and fast-charging.* Vivo X80 is the only one that truly focuses on photography but its videography aspect isn't as good and the UI+software experience is sadly poor just like the most Chinese vendors.

hi sumedh, I also bought pixel 6a but it is little bit heating at left side of frame on casual on WiFi and data. Did you have this issue ?? and i could not able to complete the install of genshin impact game on pixel it reaches morethan 45C so i stopped the istallation.
@@srinathgb1321 No heating issues on my Pixel 6a. You should wait for the AI adaptive battery + performance to kick in which takes about 1-2 weeks.
But yes, in my initial 4-5 days it used to slightly heat up around the frame.
Btw, I just installed Genshin Impact yesterday on my Pixel 6a which took 15-20 mins and I'm enjoying the gameplay. It's smooth.

I agree with everything. My only concern is that today biometrics is a easy, well tested and reliable way to secure your phone. Such a basic feature which is potentially a security flaw to be out without being addressed is an issue and cause for concern.
Hi, from the States, first off I would like to say that this is one of the most honest reviews of this phone I have seen and I have seen about 30. I realize it's not a full review but it is very informative. I liked and subbed because of it. It sucks that you guys in India don't benefit from some of the deals here. I'm trading in my Pixel 4a to get the 6A with free Pixel A buds and they are giving me $300 off for my pixel 4a, so I'm getting this phone for $150 with the free buds. It makes it harder to return even with all these issues. It is frustrating for a company with all the user data and money in the world to release half-baked products and then the consumer has to hope that they will fix them. Keep up the good work. Peace.

Hi bro... Im using pixel 3a XL, from the Android 12 update vibration mode symbol is not showing in notification bar like how it shows for silent or DND mode. One thing I am curious about the fingerprint issue. With your left and right thumb finger print stored, the device is unlocking with any of your fingers only or anybody's fingerprint is unlocking it?
The thumb unlocks are my fingers only. The shot is to show that the sensor is slow, my registered fingers unlock it but so does my index finger

It depends on external scenarios as well. I live in Bangalore and it is around 25 degrees here. The phone was not warm in my experience apart from the time of setup.

Very slight in the corner. Nothing prominant or noticeable in daily usage or even in low brightness levels

I'm i the only one who is still thinking like fingerprint sensor issue is not at all an issue it's just an advanced level of AI from Google

I am a Pixel fan as well. But no AI can be applied to this as traditionally the fingerprint is stored on the device only and is hardware encrypted. So if there is AI leading to sharing of that data, it is a bigger concern.
Also some people have units which others can unlock. So I am not sure what advanced AI might be solving there

I think you should hold off. The Pixel 4a exchange value was great during pre orders. Now it's back to 10k. So you might get a better deal on Big Billion Day sales
Android 13 makes my pixel 6 pro alot better. My pixel 6 pro runs really really smooth.
I agree. I use the Pixel 6 Pro as my primary phone as well. But this is about the Pixel 6a and consumers won't be using beta software
Experience is smooth but there are some really annoying bugs in 13 beta. Like when you want to close the recent apps, the screens lags/ stutters a bit and you've to try again. Also sometimes brightness in app drawer is low and while using a app it's better
Instead go with nothing phone 1. It's a great phone for the price

Don't want to discourage you. You could look at other channels too where content is focus. Infact you add filler later on in the video. Giving useful info at the start hooks the user and will tend to watch more.
