- The final confrontation and reunion of the three boys of Cedar Woods ends in the tragic battle of Eden, with the two final brood siblings locked in mortal combat to the death, due to Teepos confusion from the almighty and false goddess Myria.
With Rex full in charge at the front and Teepos strongest attack Rex remains defiant. Even Nina takes a hit or two from Teepo. I raise the stats of all the party, defense, speed and magic.
This is a battle where I pull out all the stops and show no mercy and unleash brutal and relentless attack on Teepo. This is full battle mode where I hold nothing back.
Say no more, watch and enjoy.
Yet watch the end also and see what religions, memes and mantras do to us all.
I remember this in 1997 I was sad about losing Teepo. What an amazing nostalgic game.

The victory theme didn't play, props to Capcom to not ruin an emotional scene.
Rand's mom getting squished between walls, Mina turning into a birb, Ryu's mom sacrificing herself to open the Gate to Infinity (BOF2), Teepo(BOF3)...Elina, my goodness(BOF4)...Yeah, that sums it up.
i like it how that some game have pretty powerful effect consumables and we are saving them up until they are needed....games end....still saving them...
Like that one that stops the time.

Shame what happens to Teepo... I always felt sad at this point in the game.
It sucked even worst when she gave me the same offer at the end of the game. You should have offered that choice before I fought and killed my buddy goddess.
If you play breath of fire 4 you will see Teepo and Rey selling items there.
The battle track for the battle with Teepo is perfect. It's not too heavy, just enough percussion for it to have the battle feel...but with a bit of sadness.
After that heartbreaking fight, the immersion was ruined by that "pick up" tune on that keycard...
Rei: "Ha, ha, ha... doesnt this just bear all..."
“I... just wanted to be with... you Rei and you, Ryu... my family...” I can’t hold my tears with this dialog, and Rei’s reaction is sad as fuck too. Breath of Fire III made me cry more than the other games with this scene only.
You clearly haven't played enough emotional games then lol Yeah this is sad, but this ain't got nothing on games like the first NIER, FFVII, FFX, The Last of Us, Ori and the Blind Forest and the Persona franchise.
@@GilgaMax305 last of us got me on a number of different occasions. So sad. Detroit is really emotional too. I’m going to check the other games you’ve mentioned.

When I set about beating the super bosses I didn't bother with dragon forms because it wasn't cost effective. You learn Aura from Ladon and after a couple of buffs you hit just as hard.
The game is so easy with any party, anyway.

At 7:58, Teepo says " I didn't ask for be the power", it was probably because he got beaten so easily by Rex and company.
I remember that time when as a 6-7 years old kid I got to the point where we fight Balio and Sunder and they set our house on fire, I didn't want my friends to be lost so I loaded a previous save, used Gamesharks cheatcodes to make my team powerful but it wasn't enough, the feels back then, I still remember it.
Final fantasy 7 probably really messed u up. Most recent game for me is red dead 2.

deadb4youknow True, but being a Super Saiyan isn't a bad deal. Honestly though, my favorite form has to be the Myrmidon forms. The fact that they have moves that the last boss is weak against just adds to the awesomeness.
Capcom need to stop playing around and bring this shit back.
I *just* now realised bof4 Ryu's final form is bof3 Ryu's Kaiser form.
It technically is in this too. He's like infused the kaiser in him .wich is why he has gold hair like a super sayin.
That desperation laugh by rei and his signature quote " doesn't this just beat all " reminds me of fou lu laughing in despair after the girl.who.saved him and was sacrificed to be ammunition to.the canon in breath of fire iv

My man really used all those turns setting up defense just to use an hourglass to setup some more... after having Rei go weretiger instead of throwing those items first lol.
Honestly, you can easily wipe this fight in less than half the time with much LESS setup. I realize this is 11 years old now but for anyone watching: Chain formation with Rei at the front gives everyone his speed, so he doesn't have to use Speed spell. You do take a hit to defense using Chain, but you don't need defense. Rei pilfers for blade, then throws items and spams Resist, learned from Fahl. The lead in Chain formation is much more likely to be attacked, Resist lets Rei soak attacks during regular turns, and he can do whatever you want during EX turns. Your third (in this case Nina) can heal as needed, feed Ryu AP, or buff Ryu's attack if they can. If your third dies, it honestly doesn't matter, just switch Rei to healing during his EX turns if need be. Finally, Ryu should more or less just hit your favorite Warrior form and spam Aura. If you really want you can still throw the hourglass and Warrior form Ryu, then Aura twice more for "free" damage.
It's a great strat for speed I wanted to use attack to deal max damage, I loved that reprisal of 2000 for a simple attack it was pretty dope 😂

Putting Ryu in front of the Attack Formation is a good idea in order to spam Kaiserbreath/Basic Attacks while Rei and Nina replenish your AP with Wisdom Fruits.
I killed a Berserker in the container yard with Kaiser Dragon so I think it kinda works.

tough i found it easier when i did it the second time i got this tact: make momo use might on ryu make ryu use protect on him zelf 3x and then go warrior have rei for pilfer (dragon sword = nice) next its just using warrior with normal attacks and with momo buffing with might that way he should easily manage to hit over 1000 damage each turn use rei for vitamins etc
yeah dragon lord teepo was my only loss during my first full playthrough.
I like giving my strategy for boss battles. mine for this one: Party of Ryu, Rei, Peco. Formation-Attack with Peco at the point. Have Peco do all the damage, Pilfer with Rei then Healwith items after stealing the Dragon Blade. Have Ryu be on Heal, Support, and Warrior dragon. Fight is pretty easy for me mainly because I hate using Nina and Garr.

Many are commenting how sad this scene is. But it's nothing compared to the Black Dragon battle against Ray in BoF2 in terms of sentiment. Plus the major events BGMs in BoF2 are just more emotion-triggering that BoF3's jazzy happy-go-lucky tunes.
I don't know, I never felt that attached to Ray. It is sad, yes.
But Teepo was just brother, Ray was just there.
I can even tell you that Daisy's death, or Mina's sacrifice hit me more than Ray.
What a great game. I think BoF 2 will always be my favorite though primarily because the dragon spells aren't as overpowered as 1, 3, and 4. They're really ridiculous in 1. Almost takes the fun out of the boss fights.

2 had some glitches with the dragon transformations
1 was awesome and far-reaching for its time, 2 made the term 'sequel' seem like a good thing, 3 was a brand new and amazing take on the series, 4 was decent, 5 sucked, 6 failed hard. I think BoF is pretty much dead, now, sadly.
Never liked 1, but yes, I really like 2 a lot, but 3 is still the Best for me.

If this a no exp run how did you get all those skills? Pretty sure a lot of them can only be gotten through masters (celerity for example)

This is no hack. Any charater can use cure.
It is an enemy skill that can be gained from lizards in the desert IIRC.
