I have round, deep set eyes and I thought a traditional smokey eye looked bad on me but seeing it on you makes me rethink that. Both sides are beautiful but the traditional placement side is my preference ❤
I can't wait to try this. I haven't worn much makeup since the pandemic, & I attempted to do a smokey eye recently. Only to realize that with age & some weight loss, my eye shape is much different now, & the techniques I used to use really don't work any more
Such a stunning smoky eye for rounded eye shapes! I find that placing the darker shades closer or further apart also is good, depending on whether your eyes are close or wide set. It makes me crazy when those with wide set eyes use dark shades on the furthest part of their eyes! They look like aliens! 👽 Their eyes look like they are almost on the sides of their face! I wonder, sometimes, if they don’t see the effect of what they are doing? Oops! Sorry for the rant! Thank you for the amazing job showing how placement works for different eye shapes! 🙏❤️🌹
Ohh yes you’re right! I was talking about how I love the outer corner placement because of my close set eyes, but I think I cut it out while editing for some reason lmao 🤣 Thank you! ❤️❤️
I have this palette, it's actually surprisingly good quality for the price and the shadows are very pigmented. And i love both of the eye looks! 😍 But will have to try the winged out version now that i've seen your technique. thank you! 🙏
Girl, you look stunning either way! I have the same eye shape and it's really frustrating. There are so many videos about making your eyes look bigger and very... VERY few on how to make them smaller. Sometimes bigger isn't better. Hahaha!
Love the in-depth tutorials. I hadn't thought about not placing any shadow on the inner corner of the eye due to the drop shadow from the eye. I have seen people do the halo-eye and that's a completely different shadow placement. But how do I know if I have deep set or round eyes? I have somewhat hooded eyes for sure but the more I look at explanations and myself in the mirror, the more I am not so sure. Also. I'd literally pay for a makeup consultation from you. 💕
Rounded is the shape of the eye and deep set is the placement in the eye socket basically. So you can have both round and deep set eyes, that's how mine are 💕
Can you list the exact brushes you used? I'm just getting into makeup and I'm terrible at picking out brushes, so it would be helpful to have a reference to go off of.
The darker side made your eye much smaller, I too have deep set round eyes but my eyes are tiny. Can someone with our eyes do a halo eye? I’ve tried but it doesn’t suit me☹️U are absolutely stunning and I love your accent😊
Your lighting is realistic and flattering and your techniques for placement and brush choices are easily seen and performed. You are truly my fave 🤎
This makes me so happy 🥺 thank you so much! ❤️

Thank you! Yes, I do halo eye makeup once in a while, definitely not my go-to as I also have close set eyes, but I have some tutorials on my page 🥰
what lip color are you wearing?
It’s the boys’n berries lip pencil in Naked and the too faced sweet peach lip oil (might be discontinued tho)
Idk why you wouldn't wanna go out like that 👀👀👀 lmao
Haha I’m still wearing this look as I filmed it this morning. I extended the rounded eye and applied a shimmer on the lid so they match 😂
@@ralucamakeup lmao work smart not hard, love it
what are you wearing on your lips here? 😍
