  • The Eclipse 180 Freestanding LED Awning built to last, but it's also loaded with features that will raise your next outdoor adventure to the next level.
There are dimmable LED strips neatly integrated into the rafter arms that also includes an amber setting to avoid attracting insects. The innovative two-piece backing plate design allows for a fully-enclosed transit cover, maximising weather resistance while still retaining the ability to easily move the awning from one vehicle to another.
There are also 8mm sailtrack channels built into the backing plate, giving you the ability to attach a wide range of accessories to your awning.
If you are after even more protection from the elements, awning wall kits that increase coverage from 8.2 to 16.5 m2 are also available.

The worst part about darche Awnings is that all the side pannels are connected... not only does it make it heavy and hard to pack, its a pain if you only want to take one side panel with you or if you only want to use say for example the center panel and the rest off... poor design choice.

Our feedback was quite the opposite hence why he put the bundles together with the walls. People didn't want to pack away three separate wall pieces into three separate packages. You can't always make everyone happy unfortunately.

@darcheoutdoorgear haha, all good! If that's your feedback, it's best to follow the crowd. :) I'll have to do some practice packing and see how tight I can get it

I won't ever touch a darche again. Even with great reviews.
I've just spent the last 3 months going though 4 Darche chairs
(3 vipers, 1 eagle) not a single 1 lasted longer than 3 weeks.
I gave them the best shot I could, because nothing else compares when it came to comfort.
But holy fvk they are not built to last.

True I've had a darche vipor for almost 3 years and I'm a big bloke and we've had zero issues with it. Used on a bucket load of camping trips and gets used as a shed chair almost dailey

Have you had any experience with the awnings? Wanna get his awning but been hearing about how the middle parts has a lot of slack and sags

@@williamlim069yeah I’ve got a 180 free standing like the video and was out over the weekend. The middle between the 2 poles sags quite abit even when you tighten the straps it looks nothing like the video.

@@adamali4948 thanks for the response mate, appreciate it. Will definitely stay away from the darche. What awning would you get if you could go back?

@@williamlim069 id look into the camp boss or bushwakka ones. My mate has the bushwakka 270 and doesn’t have any sag, believe it is also freestanding.
