Needed a do nothing day on my 1st night off in a short while but I'm regret missing this show 😄. Cool that the band did this for the fans (sounds good). Some live performances are *experiences. Thanks for documenting this
I'd give my left-nut to see Static X live. Such a huge part of my childhood... Too bad they(and most bands) never tour within 200-500 miles of my city.
holy shit dude, Xero is fucking amazing he makes a proper homeage to our friend Wayne and whole band background it's like they resurrected Wayne back XD
... minus the guitar. When you take Wayne out of Static and play with one guitar, you miss the essence and heaviness of the OG Static. This is just a serviceable tribute band, and NOTHING like the OG Static X.
I didn't like it at first because it couldn't be static without Wayne. That being said I see it as the ghost of Wayne hence the mask. I love it way to keep the memories alive.
Viable? I think you meant "Excellent" Not only does it sound awesome(looks like this was recorded by a fan, so no post-mixing) but the performance is also spectacular.
@@MAS7s Viable, as in business, not just "it sounds excellent to me, as a fan", but this is a sustainable, repeatable performance that could support a new original material album on tour.
@ray32245mv Dear unknown friend, I get you 100%. I don’t know exactly why but us people that have the brain wired in the way we do are a minority, and a fact in life is that we always were and always will be, and it’s a struggle to find someone to have a rewarding intellectual interaction with
In person it was more prominent. I’m sure this is just mainly due to audio compression through the recording or upload. I wish it didn’t do that though because that bass pounded your chest live!
Fair enough, everybody mourns or grieves in their own way. We can only hope they're legitimately doing this to honor Wayne and keep his memory alive and not as a cash grab. I saw Static-X live with Wayne in 2000 & 2001 and again without him at this show and had fun each time
Static-X was a band with four members. 3/4ths of Static-X is still alive, and is trying to honour his memory. I think Wayne would be highly disappointed if anyone snubbed his friends and band mates because he died.
@@ElysaraCh You know that they had multiple occasions and their reasons that made them disband. So for a couple of years, they weren't friends anymore before Wayne's passing. So, not sure if he would like or not, you know? He is not here anymore, so let's not say ''aw, he would like that, or dislike this'', since we will never know. But I get what you mean.
Xero is truly respectful, and extremely badass. He sings to honor a friend's legacy. Brilliant performance!
He’s the Dope singer right?

I've seen them and Dope on March 12 on my dads birthday and it was so surreal to me. I never thought I'll see them ever!
The freaking dinosaur growls from Tony are priceless and Xero is doing a fantastic job!
Nice to see a band from when I was a yoot still going.
Much props Edsel… the man himself would be proud. Please bring this show to Australia 🤟🏽
why does he keep saying its not him tho ?
@@sosilent382 He wants to keep the focus on static-x/wayne and not himself. He's playing a role.
What's chances they will come to aus?

Yeah. This totally works

This guy looks the same as Wayne ❤ what a voice

I've seen various Static X live shows... and they are coming as close to album quality as Wayne never managed to do. It's quite scary actually
Sorry but Wayne most of the time managed to sound just like Studio Quality in Live Shows. Not sure why you think he had never managed to.
