- The bucket seats in our project Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite were crusty and in need of repair so we ordered a new seat upholstery kit from Moss Motors. Classic Motorsports Publisher Tim Suddard shares some helpful tips for how you can reupholster your own seats at home.

I’m using this video to guide me through re doing my Bugeye seats.
Thank you!
Tim, that was an informative video--gut gemacht. :)
Looks good, but, unlike with my XJS seat, I don't see that rubber diaphragm piece that stretches across the bottom (think "mini trampoline") of the cushion part. Mine collapsed on my driver's seat recently .. What do you do with that when reupholstering?
You guys really did an awesome job on this video. When I did my bugeye seats I cut maybe 2 or 3 inch diameter holes in the bottom of my seat cushions. I found I was sitting a tad high and couldn't sit down into the seats to help with hard cornering.
Love your magazine. Love your videos.
Glad you like them!
Nice done, thank you for the instructions
Glad it was helpful!
Are the leather kits full leather or leather faced only?
Great tips... good video
