I love this scene for so many many reasons. Mostly I love this scene because Jamie realized on some level that Eddie was missing him. Otherwise he wouldn't have had that very specific honey do list for her. The fact that she stated she was worried about him being ok all on his own like his family shows that shes feeling the strain of opposite shifts too. She just needed a reminder that he still loves her and is very much attracted to her. but more importantly that hes missing her too like she is him.
I feel like the whole "you don't like taking direction from a woman" thing unnecessary in this storyline. Eddie's root problem wasn't a gender issue; it was being on separate shifts and she was at the end of her emotional rope about it. She doesn't want to have to make honey do lists; she wants to do the lists WITH her honey. But I'm glad the writers/EPs chose to bring the separate shifts up. I just wish they'd cut the argument short and had a scene of either one of them seeking advice from an older Reagan or discussing options to put them back on the same shift.
@JJNorwood I always respect your opinions, so I have a question for you: In this particular episode, the character named, "Brooks," in the Manhattan Bones Club, it appears to me that his appearance initially is completely different from the first time we see him, (when Danny and Baez go to find the woman on the floor), to the other two times we see him. What is your view on this? And in lieu of what you did state here, I agree: I truly wish they would STOP the arguing between Eddie and Jaime in this episode. I actually put the recording on fast forward to get through it. Thank you for helping me with my earlier question.
JJ Norwood, I DID find out the answer to my question above! I have a very reliable source that stated that there WERE 3 actors who played the part of "Brooks" on this episode!
Eddie is adjusting to A LOT of changes at work in addition to marriage, changes that are somewhat defining her marriage relationship. Jamie, on the other hand, is adjusting to marriage with his work situation pretty much staying the same. Granted, they are both affected by being on different shifts, but Eddie is working a completely new shift and one that can really mess up your schedule, has a new boss that she has struggled to connect with and has thrown a few wrenches her way, and multiple partners which we know about, but don't know why since it hasn't been addressed. We know they aren't getting a lot of time together, but it's affecting Eddie a lot more and that's what I see here. I also think this is where you see her family background come in to play a lot once again. She doesn't have a support system like Jamie does and when the fear caused by all the separation kicks in she starts to overreact and misapply his family's situation when in reality they are a foundation of support for her, which I believe becomes clear again to her at the family dinner. I would not be surprised if Eddie has to relearn this several more times.
Yes! This is so important to recognize. I thought from these clips that maybe Eddie is pregnant because they've written her very moody. But now that you mention it I really hope she's not, because it is okay to be moody when all this change is happening at once! And without always being passed off as "women and their crazy hormones"
Am reading this wrong or does she mean that one day Jamie will wake up and think that he is better on his own.And she doesn’t want that to happen obviously
This was the list. It took a village but a bunch of us were able to figure them out. 1. Have better days 2. Hug each other more 3. Explore Kama Sutra 4. Snuggle more 5. Spend more time together
@@esmeraldaamaro5908 Thank you for taking the time to work out the list and share it with us. I hope this is a sign we are going to see a bedroom scene soon (well I live in hope anyway) although I know if we did it would be more chaste then the list! Perhaps we need to remind BB of the list from time to time
I just love Eddie's expression when she says "I know. I'm sorry"
A "Honey do List?" Oh, it's definitely a "thing!" LOL!
Eddie went a little crazy there, but I loved the ending! I love flirty Jamko

Esmeralda Amaro THANK YOU!
They are both way better actors than this and deserve so much better dialogue. It's like one big cringe.
