The continuity failure in the beginning of this episode kills me. The director failed to keep Vanessa's arms in the same place during the kiss scene.
As for the drive home, I can definitely relate to growing up poor. Both my parents grew up extremely poor in big families and they always made sure my siblings and I never went without food.
When Eddie has that cute robe on, every time the camera is on Jamie she has her arms around his neck, and when the close up is on her, she doesn’t. It’s so distracting!

i think the 200 episode will be the wedding. it'd be the first episode of the 10th season. i think that would be the best start of any season

To be fair, Jamie is a gender neutral name. I have female cousins named Jamie, but I have also heard of Jamie being the name of men as well. And honestly, Edit (pronounced Eh-deet, isn't it?) is a tough name to casually say. Eddie is much more easier to say, which is what Eddie actually said herself in her debut episode.
And wasn't it in her high school yearbook page too, 'Eddie'? So her mother must have known people were calling her this for a long time.
I think Jamie was actually used more often as a boy's name than a girl's until a few decades ago. I have a male cousin named Jamie. And no, it actually did say Edit on her yearbook picture. I remember noticing that.

Okay I can’t get over the fact that when they show Jamie talking Eddies arms are around his neck, but when they show Eddie talking her hands are on his arms...😂
Goose Baby J The reasoning behind the arms constantly moving (though yes it is distracting) is because from the angle for which the close ups of Eddie are taken from if she kept her arms around his neck you wouldn’t be able to see her face when she is speaking and would also muffle the sound quality of her voice
