People wrote Bradford's character off in the first season. Not sure why. He's the most in depth character on the show and Tim and Lucy are the best duo as well.

It's unrealistic for them to think they can maintain a relationship if Lucy continues going undercover for long periods. Most relationships can't cope with frequent, long-term separations that are accompanied by extreme stress. I still don't know why Lucy even wants to be an undercover.

@@Peter.pans.wife.5372 She'd spend more time with him if she was a regular cop. Tim isn't a UC and doesn't want to be one. Being a UC means she could be undercover for months at a time doing god knows what. Having a partner go deep undercover destroyed Nyla's and Tim's marriages.

@Peter.pans.wife.5372 I'm pretty sure she meant Nyla's marriage and Tim' marriage, two separate marriages that both crumbled due to undercover work.
I hear you plus with Tim’s job at Metro his hours are tricky too, but we can see them both making efforts… probably why he’s spending most of his nights at her place and she tried to maintain communication even when working her longest UC case… it’s still taking a toll on them coz Tim has been getting triggered and reminded of the whole Isabel situation and she’s trying to help him separate his two experiences… going forward I wonder whether it’ll pull them apart, they obviously want it to work but she’s an amazing UC like legit legit and he knows that… maybe it’s why she’s taking her detective exams? Idk… but I’m stressed for season 6, we love em a lot maann… seeing how Chen was a bit reluctant to let go of Nolan, I think she’s not the type to just bail on relationships easily and of all the women Tim’s dated post Isabel, Lucy’s really gotten under his skin… he loves her hard but it’s cruel for him to have to relive what he went through with Isabel and I guess it’s why he told Chen that when it gets too much and he feels he won’t be able to handle, she’s got to hear him… they’re both aware and anxious but we’ll see what happens… Lucy found her passion and I don’t think she’ll just let it go and Tim’s just as passionate about his work and he gets that she’s just starting her career and he doesn’t want to rob her of her dreams but he’s kinda compromised coz he could’ve gone way up the ranks but then he loves LA too eishh
