Warning: Be careful fucking with the menu icons after you complete your menus. If you added text next to the icons it won't let you edit them. Way to go, Corel. Now I have to start over.
I used Corel Video since it was still Ulead. DVDs (better BDs) I use to create with Sony Architect (now Magix) which is much better and professional. And, by the way, Corel does burn BDs only with extra costs. That is most annoying. You buy software and suddenly, when you want to do what you bought it for, it say: "Not included". Now I do everything with the Sony Software.
i see no questions get replied to, but i need answers. at the 2:00 mark how do you go on to add a title to all the other chapters? i need a dvd where you have a menu where you can select which clip/chapter you want played on the screen.

If I have a video with back ground noise, like machinery running in the background.. Can I isolate the noise and then reduce noise? If I use Audacity to do this very noise reduction, is there away to lip sync the new noise reduced narrative to the speakers lip movements.

Where is the magic mode? How do I select it? I can add my videos and it looks like I've made a menu and am ready to burn a DVD but I can't get any further than that. There is no burn button. The top of the window in this video is inaccessible when I open this program on my computer. All I want to do is make a DVD. I've wasted too much time trying to figure this out and everywhere I've asked or looked, has been a dead end.

My purchase didn't come with Corel MyDVD. It only came with premium template bundle. Was that a a special offer? I have the 2020 version.

I just burned a movie just fine. Then when i burned the same movie with an alternate ending it burned in PAL fornat so i cant watch it. I dont get it.

That aint a lot, i have 3 minute clips of my games that are over 1.5GB each, its all quality-based
@@lewie895 if you use dvd or bluray burning software the software always seems to blow up the file size. i had a 200mb file that i tried to burn and the software took that file up to near 1gb. wastes the space on the dvd.

Hello, the number of clips you can add is not limited by number of videos, but limited by the size of the videos and the capacity of the disc you are burning too.

Is it normal for the DVD menus to be of poor quality when using the trial version? I'm not really impressed. Video editing and everything else looks good, dvd menu editing seems to have fallen off the band wagon in my opinion.
What about SRT files?

Why are we forced to use a provided template when creating DVD menus? The layouts are not at all what I'd like. Can't I create my own in the program or start with a black screen or my own background? This is so incredibly frustrating!!!

This way can make a very bad video DVD when play on DVD player, only paid Corel one then you can use AVCHD to make a best quality video DVD same as when you plug the camera to TV to watch video

This menu thing is so elementary!! OMG! Adobe needs to bring back Encore and update it. So far, not a single one of these alternatives to Encore allow for the importing of your own menus. Why the hell do grown people want to use some lame 5th grader style pre-made menu screen? Where are the alternatives to Encore for grown ups? This crap is like some $20 DVD creator you can get at Best Buy.
Dude I'm suffering with you. I've spent my whole day looking for ANY kind of blu ray authoring software that isnt a template circus. The only thing i found is this thing called "Blu-disc studio" and it's super complicated. The only tutorials online are super hard to understand aswell! UGH
@@Amiiben - I still have Encore but lately it’s been giving me issues when burning DVDs. Blu-ray is perfectly fine but lately Encore has been burning DVD with a weird effect that happens in the image. The outline of images/people and especially fast motion like someone moving their hand or walking or camera panning across a scene causes this weird fuzziness. Most noticeable is a fuzziness around the outline of bright colors or white. Someone wearing a white collar shirt, you can see the fuzzy effect around the collar of the shirt. This happens using MPEG2, MPEG4 and H264. It’s really annoying. So I was looking for an alternative but no way am I using some preselected kiddie menus with hearts and rainbows 🤦🏻♂️
@@MaestroMephisto Man I wish I even had Encore. Adobe is so anti consumer its infuriating! Authoring discs in 2021 is certainly niche but it shouldn't be this difficult. Crazy how the ONLY way to obtain Encore is piracy
