I just downloaded Splice and am in the 7 day trial. The trim and splice tools cut out the part of the video I want but I can not combine the video together. The menu looks nothing like your video and doesn’t look like the app tutorial. Is the app making me buy the Pro Version. This is very frustrating.
I have the trial going on right now too. I’m not sure if this is the same thing you are talking about, but I upload one video then click on it and add overlay and then click into the original video and select mask and either linear or whichever I want. The move it where I want my video to split and then select the other video on top and select mask again and click the same thing but make it opposite of the other video. So far that’s worked for me but it’s all very confusing lol.

This app is difficult to use if you're a newbie like I am. Nothing is clear. I'm just looking to edit clips on movies, and combining them. I did this year's ago on a pc with ease. Sometimes apps are 10x worse than actual pc software.

Go into the subscriptions, (in your iphone settings) and select the 10.99 a year option. I read their terms and subscriptions on their site and it says you will have all the same features no matter which option you pick. Even the cheapest option. It’s crazy because the default payment amount is $69.99 a year and then I saw the $10.99 option and when I read any subscription has the exact same features. It felt a little dirty they would default to $70 but be ok with $11

Some clips or audio of this project could not be loaded because their original sources are no longer available”. When I open one and play it the audio plays but the video is gone. I don’t even see the ones that I saved to my camera roll anymore. I did restore my iPhone a week ago but that normally puts the phone right back to the way it was with all of its content. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 🤟🏼🙏🏼
If it’s saying that it’s because you deleted the originals files of whatever videos that you were using so if you can go to like a recently deleted restore the originals video files & then open splice back up it’ll be restored

Please when I shoot a long video and need to trim out parts of it, or even when I shoot the same content in bursts, how do I ensure that they all maintain the same frame size and don’t dance around the screen when I want to combine the clips ? I try to use the most natural transition but it’s not perfect. I hope you understand my question. Any advice on how to get it right? Thank you in advance

When you select trimming (blue line )it should give you the options to cut any blue part selected , it’s been 3 days I can’t get it right it may work for you due to the fact you are a computer geek but for most of the people I know including family members it’s confusing..

Hey! I am using iPad. Can you import videos from SD card straight to SPLICE? I am struggling to find that option on SPLICE programme.

This tutorial was done on the free version so you should have everything. Reach out to splice support for sure! :)

Not sure I fully understand but it sounds like a cropping issue. You should be able to reside each clip and get them to match.
