Wow Kim. I just saw this and what an awesome comment :) I’m happy to have helped. There’s so many cool games to get into as well and it’s a bunch of fun ! You are very welcome and best wishes this New Year!
If you've purchased the DLC and completed the Travel Medallion side quest, you can place the medallion near the Bokoblin camp (e.g. for farming bomb arrows), and teleport to it once you've finished picking up all the arrows. This shortcut is extremely handy, as you don't have to wait for the weather to stop raining before setting a campfire - in fact, if it is raining for multiple consecutive hours, teleporting to the medallion resets the arrow counter, so you can continuously farm arrows without any waiting. No need to save/reload!
Here’s another tip for bomb arrows collecting. While it’s raining and you are done collecting bomb arrows, instead of camping over again, save the game and reload it. Reloading will reset the collecting and you will always have the rain instead of camping and waiting for it to start raining.
I love the regular arrow farming with the treasure chests! sure beats my method, where I bought out beetle at every stable, then slept until a blood moon. Thanks!
For those that prefer not to rely on save/load or glitch mechanics for normal arrows, you can reliable farm 75-100 arrows in 10 mins or less in Zora's domain. Just sneak kill all the lizalfos down from Luto's crossing. They drop 5x arrows pretty much all of the time.
If you are here for this in 2020 please note too save after every time you open the chest for the normal arrows or you will load back in with the same amount of arrows you had before you tried to save and load back in!!!! Dont save when you get to the island, save every time after you open the chest and load back in for 100% results🙌🏾
This tutorial about bomb arrows has completely changed my gameplay. Thank you so much for explaining it and showing how easy it is. I’m late to the party and just got a Nintendo switch in August for my birthday and broke my ankle in September. I purchased breath of the wild and I’ve been playing it nonstop not being much of a video gamer I have 240 hours into this game and I don’t think that I have “beat it” yet. Gannon is way too scary for me. I’ve already beat the four beasts, but I just can’t muster up the balls to fight him. So I run around collecting things and killing enemies.😅 I’m nearly 50 years old and still love video games. Thanks again.
I prefer to use shields to deflect their beams back at them. This works best for Stalkers and their Decayed versions. Also takes less hits and potentially less time since even Link's most powerful weapons only do so much damage.
Here's a Guide to get past Eventide Island even in the beginning of the game so you can start regular arrow farming, First you have to get past the shrine... i just redid this on Master Mode and it still works... furthermore, you can get it done almost from the get go... i got past it in less than an hour with only 4 hearts... now i have 999 arrows to play with in master mode... so, without further ado, here's the guide... ok, so first, make your way to lake hylia, from there, use cryonis to get underneath the bridge, use magnesis and pull up the chest to find an edge of duality (dont use it, save it for the island)... with that in hand, beeline towards lureline village to get their raft... sail to not eventide island but to the Chaas Qeta Shrine (the one in the middle of the sea) and register it... (you don't have to beat it but if you die in eventide, now you will spawn here instead of in lureline... ) now take your raft and go to the beach, without stepping off your raft. kill the 3 bokoblins on the shoreline so they don't make your life miserable... now, drop your edge of duality onto the raft and go ashore, the blade will still be there after your items are stolen... pick it up and then Gather all the boko spears in the camp there... now make your way to the west orb pedestal... Don't disturb the hinox.. throw your boko spears at the chuchus up there so they can't mess you up (the electric ones not the fire ones), now, swing your edge of duality and be careful not to get hit... once the camp is clear, pick up the durians on the tree and cook them... eat one of the dishes right now so you have extra health if the hinox smashes you... carefully, crouch down and slowly make your way to the hinoxes hand, wait there and he'll flip you onto his stomach, from there, grab everything, throw the orb down, crouch again and walk off... if all goes well, he'll still be asleep, simply deposit the orb and go to the north ... use your strongest weapons to crush the two on the base and then simply cut down the tree to knock the sentry to your level and kill him... grab the orb and use cryonis to lift it up onto the island pedestal... and for the other one, same old same old, snipe the sentrys, wait till night, sneakstrike your way to victory... once you have the shrine, fly over to the magic spot and save, reload, go crazy... Hope this helps and good luck.... btw, if you are playing on master mode, i recommend getting Majoras Mask first thing in the game... then when you need to kill a base (besides eventide) just kill a guy and save, if you die, they won't notice you when you spawn in their camp but the guy you killed will still be dead and you can kill another guy and save until they are all dead.... PS. Majoras Mask WILL WORK on multiple enemies at once... a camp with moblins and bokoblins and stal creatures you can walk through ease(well, ease once you get past their bodies... lol) another tip, grab some ice chuchu jelly (such as from the great plateau to freeze your enemies then you'll be able to simply drown them or throw them off a cliff or what have you... it makes the game alot easier in Master Mode...
thanks... also, since we are at eventide... it might also be a good idea to sail north... get early access to the akkala tech labs and ancient arrows and then you can go get the travel medallion early too...
“Protection” hm we all know what protection he means but there is another protection that link need for he’s “master sword” to use on zelda on a bed if ya know what I mean
2:30 after 5-6 steps or 1 jump while climbing in the rain you'll slip; so the fastest way to climb when its wet is to take 4-5 steps and then jump. You can make it up wet walls much faster!
Man, every time I want to look something up in Botw, I end up watching your videos. You are such a great help dude. Thanks for all your videos you have done on this game!
Your comment put a HUGE smile on my face. Thanks for the support! I'm streaming live tomorrow and playing subs. Stop in if you can for some live battles :) Cheers!
For the bomb arrow section you say to sleep to reset since they stop dropping BUT as a small tip If you know it's going to keep raining for a while more you can save and load to keep going rather than taking a chance of a sunny day doing the same save and load will allow more arrows to drop :D not sure if you knew that or threw it out due to time reduction but it is a suggestion
I love ancient arrows, they're easily my favorite type. I use them when I'm fighting a huge group of enemies, but I need one or two gone instantly so I don't waste miphas grace, food, or fairies. Thanks for your useful information! Especially about the bomb arrows!
I like your attitude, that buyin some of the assets available when you have gotten strong enough to take out Gannon, and pause, to build up your own power to face that power on a more level playing field. Farming arrows presents the challenge the game gives you to play the algorithm a bit before ending the quest. A weak link always breaks a chain.
Dude - You forgot about parrying. You can use a shield to reflect back a guardian's attack. Do this 3-4 times and they will blow up. You need not waste any ammmunition.
Killing Guardians for their parts in exchange for ancient arrows is not a farming technique. It's logic. It's the easiest and only way to get ancient arrows quickly.
The Guardian Amiibo can give a few Ancient Arrows if you get lucky... Not quick, but if you start doing it early on, you could have quite a stockpile by the time you're ready to use them.
"By loading again the save and reopen the chest you'll get infinite arrows in no time" Well, that's true Until you play the WiiU version of the game with its unbearable save loading time
Since Eventide island resets every time you leave and revisit, this really is infinite. There's an easier way though. The easiest is by placing the travel medallion from the DLC on the island near the chest. After opening the chest, open the map screen and select the travel medallion icon and travel there. The chest will be there every time. If you don't have the DLC, you can just teleport up to the completed shrine on Eventide island and float down to the little island over and over.
Great video!! I used to have about 30 arrows, now I get 100 per session of farming, and I never realized how useful the bomb arrows are, I use them for hunting ice Breath lizafalos. Thanks HyruleDude, great video! Thanks.
Thank you I've been low on arrows for hours and bettle wouldn't sell arrows and the others character wouldn't too. now I will use this... thing to get 999+ on normal arrows, ancient arrows and the others I can find in a chest :D you deserve more love from others
You don't have to set another fire for the bomb arrows as long as it's still raining. Just save and reload and they will respawn. Saves some time waiting for the rain cause usually when I go it only rains for a short time.
I get all those ancient arrows and then I think to myself, "I only ever used these on guardians, but now they're so easy to take out. And why would I ever use these on another high level mob? It gets rid of all the drops." and that's how I ended up using ancient arrows on annoying bokoblins.
In a pinch, you can also one-shot the Guardians with a single Ancient Arrow and x3 or x5 Bow. (There is a free x3 Forest Dweller's Bow that respawns near the Lanayru Tower every blood moon.) Just make sure 3 of your shots hit.
Ancient arrows are great around gardens but not for anything else because if you use them on say a lynel then they aren't going to drop any loot they just disappear
Getting the major tests of strength before the first blood moon is great. There's one on a mountain just as you head over the bridge to the Rito region. There's also a memory in that shrine. There's also one on a remote little island off the south eastern coast from the Hateno tech lab. Simply have a stamina potion or two ready, then fly from the edge of the Hateno lab all the way to the island. You should be able to barely not make it, but it took me two swims to get to the island. I have found those two particularly useful as guardian weapons absolutely demolish guardian stalkers. One hit with the axe to any of their legs will destroy them, interrupting their beam and letting you hit another, and another. You get more ancient parts of if you destroy all their legs first btw.
Finally! I always keep running out of arrows at such important moments! Looking at the first ancient elephant battle for such an example. Thanks for the help, dude!
Nice and useful video. You know in the maze behind the lab there are a bunch of guardians on the basement. Its like guardian hell, could be useful for farming ancient pieces
One thing you forgot to mention is when you're going after Guardians, make sure that you have a good amount of hearts and decently strong weapons and armor. You'll burn through an inventory of weaker weapons fighting one or two stalkers (in my experience fighting them) Also, to make things easier, its extremly easy to parry their beams once you get the timing down which saves you lots of time and weapons.
Pro Tips : Wait until it's dry to guide and climb. Then bring wood to make fire then when you get close to monster camp make fire until morning until rain. Then save. Then run to right hand corner right of the grass by rocks ( because you can see arrows better on the rocks instead of grass because the rain and wind blow them far ) also choose that corner because you will get more bomb arrows because some monster use regular arrows. When done seeing arrows to farm (still raining of course ) save then load. Rinse repeat until it stops raining then make another campfire. Hope this helps. Peace PS Whistle to get their attention helps them move faster
My personal favorite way to farm guardians, and works wonders if you only have ok aim, is to use Revali’s Great Eagle Bow and aim at the base of the guardian. Boom, one shot. These are all great though and I want to try out the bomb arrow one! Cheers
Hyrule Dude Wii U, once I started playing Zelda I lost interest in my other games, Breath of the wild is highly addictive. Thanks again for a great channel.
An easier way to get guardian parts is to go to the labyrinth in the top right section of the map, there's a hole you can go down and there's about 8 guardians. Hope this helps!
Thanks for this dude...Ive just recently started playing this game.. I have figured out how to do the gaurdian laser parry which helps the durability of my weapons..
You don't have to wait for it to stop raining while farming the Bomb Arrows at that spot. Simply run under the encampment where the Bokoblins are, and light your fire there. It will be dry directly under the encampment, allowing you to light your fire. This will make this process go MUCH faster. Simple.
After every blood moon farm Lynels for Shock, Flame, arrows etc. As for regular arrows I did not know this trick, but I just glide down from the elephant guardian to the ponds with the lizalfos (path to Zora domain) and pick about about 100 arrows from defeating them. Urbosa fury is a very quick way to kill guardians.... save your arrows. If you have it upgraded it recharges every 2 mins. Use it, and hack them down in seconds. Another great place for ancient parts is under the Lomei labrynth. TONS of guardians in there, all close together, and they spawn after every blood moon. Bomb arrows I agree with this method, it is the fastest.
During the bomb arrow farming you can just run from the bokoblins until you can't see them anymore and it will reset the bomb arrows spawn. That way you can just use the fire to get more rain.
i used to collect regular arrows across the canyon from tena ko'sah shrine at those horseriding bokoblins.. it still works, but your method is a few seconds faster, and there is no health risk :-) thanks for the tip
um sorry that I showed others your method of farming arrows on miiverse without asking however, I felt like this needed to be shared because it was amazing :0 I also made sure that I credited you twice and also told people to check out your channel and subscribe I love your great guides! please keep up your great work ^^ Edit: forgot to say, I'll take down the post if you want me to :0
WOW AMY! You are the awesomest viewer of the day. Scratch that, you are the best viewer of the WEEK!! AMY thank you sooooo much thats means so much I'm genuinely so happy to read that. Thank you for sharing! Have an awesome day and cheers!!
I take out the two guardian stalkers on the Akkala plains, and then harvest them and the dead guardian shells in the field. When it's raining, you can use cryonis to tip over most of them and collect 3-4 parts per one. This also works in the area outside fort Hateno and can be useful for farming ancient parts. Another place is the underground of the northeastern maze. You can easily avoid the guardians by hiding behind pillars, and there's quite a few down there.
I had a severe urge to play the Benny Hill theme (Yakkety Sax) during the Bob Arrow collection montage..Great vid btw.Been struggling with BOTW since I got it last week
But if we're looking at it in the fastest way to farm them, the loading screen when you load a save wouldn't take as long as teleporting since it doesn't need to load any new areas, it'll just re-load the same area and then you can repeat the process of taking the chest out of the water.
Lol darn. Confidential markers lol. No its just treasure chests and enemies and landmarks and stuff to make it easier to remember. I like how observant you are though :)
inspirekathryn the only marks i have on the map is bosses. Lynel are sorted between bow sword and shield depending on the weapon they use. Hinox is a skull and talus is an ore vein
(Off-topic) 2:28 there's a ring of rocks nearby in which you can get a korok seed by completing the rock formation by finding a rock near the bokoblin base. Use stasis to make it easy to find that rock.
I wish there would be an easier way to get ancient arrows because I'm not such an experienced Zelda player and guardians are a little bit scary to me (I really don't like them) but thank you for the great vid, the normal arrow methode was amazing, I didn't know about that. Greetings from Germany, love you and stay awesome!❤
I want to buy like 3 or 4 ancient bows but I need giant ancient cores and for some reason guardians doesn't spawn them anymore. 🤔 Does anyone know what to do to farm those (without glitching the game)
Hey! I'm not sure if anyone will see this comment but. I got Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild a couple of days ago by surprise for WIIU And I was also wanting a switch... And I really wanted to play LOZ on the switch, but I'm so addicted to Zelda on WIIU I feel like there's no point on getting the switch with LOZ BOTW anymore... Any opinions?
Hyrule Dude YES i have played BOTW one time with a friend of me and i played Twilight Princess but BOTW is so huge if you compare it with Twilight princess
late reply but if you get a royal guards weapon and go to riverside stable, equip any weapon but the royal guards weapon then overload your menu. once you do equip the royal guards weapon and keep on talking to that royal guards quest girl in the stable

Thank you I've been low on arrows for hours and bettle wouldn't sell arrows and the others character wouldn't too.
now I will use this... thing to get 999+ on normal arrows, ancient arrows and the others I can find in a chest :D
you deserve more love from others
You don't have to set another fire for the bomb arrows as long as it's still raining. Just save and reload and they will respawn. Saves some time waiting for the rain cause usually when I go it only rains for a short time.
I get all those ancient arrows and then I think to myself, "I only ever used these on guardians, but now they're so easy to take out. And why would I ever use these on another high level mob? It gets rid of all the drops." and that's how I ended up using ancient arrows on annoying bokoblins.
That's a really good mic. I often hear other UA-camrs speaking through tin cans.
😂😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹💩💩
Your videos are so helpful. I’m not a hardcore gamer but I am super addicted to BOTW. You have helped me out a lot. Thank you!!!!!!
4:05 when your dad gives you the talk
In a pinch, you can also one-shot the Guardians with a single Ancient Arrow and x3 or x5 Bow. (There is a free x3 Forest Dweller's Bow that respawns near the Lanayru Tower every blood moon.) Just make sure 3 of your shots hit.
I know I’m late to the game, but these vids are so helpful!! Thanks for making them.
Ancient arrows are great around gardens but not for anything else because if you use them on say a lynel then they aren't going to drop any loot they just disappear
Yet another helpful and easy mode video for arrows, especially the ancient arrows. Thanks! :D
Sephora 0102
Figured these are the most needed arrows in the game :) cheers and thanks !
Those are easy to get, once you know where the dragons are located :D
Thats why Hyrule Dudes videos help along the journey of the game 👍
Hyrule Dude Can you help with farming Ancient Cores?
MasterForce just run around and kill guardians thats really the only way
Getting the major tests of strength before the first blood moon is great.
Hey dude Can you make a video on best bows and how to get them! Btw Love your content
Giorgos Chiras
Thank you and that's a great idea!! I'll do my best ! Cheers
The
Lynel 5x spread bow, and you get them from savage lynels
Lynels my dude lynels
@@demetriusatn8400 The answer to everything is always *Lynels*
Finally! I always keep running out of arrows at such important moments!
Looking at the first ancient elephant battle for such an example.
Thanks for the help, dude!
I’ve personally had trouble getting tons of basic arrows and I always run out ty for showing me
Haha me too. No problem. Enjoy !
Peace
PS Whistle to get their attention helps them move faster
Left a like before even watching keep it up hyrule dude
Sofleh 🇪🇸
My personal favorite way to farm guardians, and works wonders if you only have ok aim, is to use Revali’s Great Eagle Bow and aim at the base of the guardian. Boom, one shot. These are all great though and I want to try out the bomb arrow one! Cheers
:) good point! Thank you and cheers to you as well.
Or shield parry
Thankyou. I suck at killing guardians, but I’m at the point where I can no longer just run and hide from them.
Your Tutorials are fantastic, I really appreciate the effort you put into making them, I have learnt a lot from your videos thank you.
Luke thank you man! I appreciate that. I put a lot of work into them. Cheers friend!
wait....are you playing on the switch ? what other games are you playing ?
Hyrule Dude Wii U, once I started playing Zelda I lost interest in my other games, Breath of the wild is highly addictive. Thanks again for a great channel.
Thank you for the tips. Never thought there is any chance to get more than just 100 bomb arrows. And it’s so easy!!
Underneath Lomi labyrinth for Guardians Bruh!
WakeUpUniverse forgotten temple bruh
@@sethhebbert you don't get nearly as much from under the labyrinth or temple. There are only decayed guardians and they don't have feet
@@dothedo3667 did the labyrinth today, there are 2 Guardian Stalkers there.
That's where I killed my first guardian stalker, after getting the travel medallion. I broke it's knees
I'm so behind. You have so much rupees, shrines, cool armor and badass weapons. Thanks for this!
+1 Sub!
Now there needs to be a video on how to farm ice arrows and fire arrows. Great video by the way keep it up.

@@anotherarush jesus christ man that was fucking brutal lmao
i used to collect regular arrows across the canyon from tena ko'sah shrine at those horseriding bokoblins.. it still works, but your method is a few seconds faster, and there is no health risk :-) thanks for the tip
um sorry that I showed others your method of farming arrows on miiverse without asking
however, I felt like this needed to be shared because it was amazing :0
I also made sure that I credited you twice and also told people to check out your channel and subscribe

Moverse? Wasn’t that platform dead?
RakuBaku56 yeah, but it wasn't dead 9 months ago (the time that the post was posted)
Me: pulls out my Zelda compatible amiibos

I had a severe urge to play the Benny Hill theme (Yakkety Sax) during the Bob Arrow collection montage..Great vid btw.Been struggling with BOTW since I got it last week
omg how did you get Link to yawn? that was so cute xD
Helmi Voutilainen
Lol. Sometimes when he wakes up after sleeping he does a yawn and stretch. Ya know, preparing for the day :)
Hyrule Dude aww. i want to see that in my game! :D
Helmi Voutilainen make him sleep then xD
Rick Grimes i have lol
Helmi Voutilainen alright then xD
If you have teleportation medallion you don't even need to save. Just get the chest and teleport back and the chest respawns with more arrows.
If u have the dlc like me u can go under lomei labrynth and farm down there too
Thank you So Much Mike. This is very helpful. 😌
this will be helpful for master mode
Yarib there's nothing to patch
Nice straight to the point video.

😅 wow. Thank you so much and wow those UA-camrs are so much bigger than me. I hope to grow the channel big like them. Thanks a lot !
Thanks for the legitimate tips for this game unlike videos mentioning the loading screen tips.
U don’t need to buy ur thunder helmet u could just remove all of ur metallic weapons
U dont buy teh helmet u do a quest for it duh
Those were some good tips, especially on the ancient arrows! They are always a pain to accumulate XD
1:19 You can just place Travel Medallion then keep teleporting. :)
But if we're looking at it in the fastest way to farm them, the loading screen when you load a save wouldn't take as long as teleporting since it doesn't need to load any new areas, it'll just re-load the same area and then you can repeat the process of taking the chest out of the water.
Forgotten Temple also has a ton of stationary guardians--good place to practice your parrying as well.
You have so many stamps on your map, what do you use them for??
inspirekathryn+ marking important landmarks and other things
Lol darn. Confidential markers lol. No its just treasure chests and enemies and landmarks and stuff to make it easier to remember. I like how observant you are though :)
you rock !! Tis true
I guess I always delete mine after I go to the mark... I don't like clutter on my map. I wanted to see if you had a trick for marking places.😅
inspirekathryn the only marks i have on the map is bosses. Lynel are sorted between bow sword and shield depending on the weapon they use. Hinox is a skull and talus is an ore vein
Thank you for this! I got to 128 regular arrows and 56 bomb arrows after like 10 minutes!! Its awesome, never spending rupees on arrows again!
Anyone in 2019?
2020
No
Nah im in 2021
(Off-topic) 2:28 there's a ring of rocks nearby in which you can get a korok seed by completing the rock formation by finding a rock near the bokoblin base. Use stasis to make it easy to find that rock.

Hyrule Dude :)
I think you mean "ooooo la la"
I wish there would be an easier way to get ancient arrows because I'm not such an experienced Zelda player and guardians are a little bit scary to me (I really don't like them) but thank you for the great vid, the normal arrow methode was amazing, I didn't know about that.
Greetings from Germany, love you and stay awesome!❤
With the first one on eventide island you don't have to save and reload just fast travel back to the shrine and go back to the chest it respawns.
Or you can use the travel medalian on the island with the chest
Love using the arrows and bows so darn any tips to find more is helpful thank you.
I want to buy like 3 or 4 ancient bows but I need giant ancient cores and for some reason guardians doesn't spawn them anymore. 🤔 Does anyone know what to do to farm those (without glitching the game)
Thank you soo much for this!

That breaks my heart. I wish the best of luck to you. Have you ever played a Zelda game before ?
Hyrule Dude YES i have played BOTW one time with a friend of me and i played Twilight Princess but BOTW is so huge if you compare it with Twilight princess
BOTW is huge compared to Skyrim, Dark Souls, actually, almost any other open-world game. The only thing bigger is Flight Simulator X.
hypercell101 BOTW doesn't come close to Elder Scrolls Online. Maybe 5%
