@@gamesagecgs1613 you could take the luminous stones to the Zora that is reparing the walkway right outside from the shrine there and he'll give you a diamond for 10. Mande Peer What I don't understand is that potions aren't any better with rare monster parts, some of them aren't even that good! But yet they give you thousands for it.
It gives you more for each stone, i did 60k just by selling that, but the best way (effective but not funny) it's to farm farosh horns on Faron's region, he spawns at the 8 a.m so you just need to make a campire, hit the horn and sleep again, you can farm 3 horns per minute. In 1 hour of farming you should be able to get 49k rupees.
I was thinking you were nuts to sell all the luminous without turning them into diamonds, but then I did the math and for 10 luminous you'd net 700 rupee's whereas diamonds only get you 500. interesting video though easy enough!
Just remember that there will be times in the game where you need the diamond and not the rupees. Repairing the Great Eagle Bow, for example, in Rito Village calls for a diamond (and other items). I believe repairing the Royal Trident (not sure what it's called) takes a diamond, as well.
Oh yeah, I know this. A Diamond is needed for all the champion weapons with the sacrificial weapon as well. The spear, bow, etc. Luminous stones are easy to get so thankfully they make it easy.
The thing that bothers me the most about that is that you don't even get more money if you go the extra step, get 10 diamonds, and sell them to the Gerudo lady in Goron City: you'd get 5,500, where the stones would go for 7,000 It's just really unrewarding and disappointing.
yeah, I tried a 45 minute session around the south/west of death mountain with the slate aiming at rare deposits (still taking the other rocks on the way) and I got 20'000 rupees out of this
I just started playing this game a few weeks ago and I can’t believe I waited so long. Breath of the Wild is my favorite game. It’s such a massive step up in scale from any other Legend of Zelda games or any other Nintendo games, period. Every couple of days, I’ll burn an hour or two and either hunt a ton of meat to sell, mine for stones or just bowl at Pondo’s Lodge. The hunting and mining is more fun than bowling but if you get really good at bowling, you can rack up a lot of money pretty quickly. It definitely gets tedious though
That’s awesome man and welcome to BOTW! Zelda has been my favorite game since I was young and I’m incredibly impressed with the BOTW style. Rock on and enjoy the game!

The only trouble with the guy is he only buys three a day, so be careful not to run into a rainy day or you'll have to make a campfire inside the building. You'll also likely go through a blood moon doing this.
Marco Fantasy Hi i know you comented this a few weeks ago and may have already figured this out but I wanted to let you know just in case. Your voice is very soothing. Different from all other gaming related videos. Of course, like others have said, you have presented info in a very clear and direct manner. Excellent!
I don’t know if this is better or not but at outskirt stable there’s a guy called Trott, if you sell him one raw gourmet meat he will give you 100 rupees. After that you can sell him more for the same price. What way is better?
I rather use Master Sword's beam with Tunic of the Wild's buff for cutting grass. It does a really large trail on plain areas. And it's way more fun, tho.
If you already have the Tunic then you hardly need to make any more money. I like to see people actually playing the game to get money naturally without all this "dragon horn farming" nonsense which is so unnecessary and less immersive into the natural gameplay. I managed to get all the shrines done and bought all the armour without veering off what I would call the "intended" path. I'm horrified people actually buy from traders instead of finding the items...what's the point of that, lol?
There are people who play focusing on different goals. Mine, for example is the exploration, which envolves buying things from npcs and, sometimes become overpowered.
I’m so very late to the party! Just bought this yesterday. Was looking at all the gear and stuff in Kakariko and was wondering how I was gonna make the rupees to buy this stuff. This helps a ton! Thank you!
as much as i like these videos i like to play and get money as I go so that i'm not relying on other people to show me how to play. I'll get a little help but mostly I want to figure stuff out on my own. love the video and hope you will make more~!!
With gourmet meat, it’s more effective to give the raw ones to that one guy at the stables. He gives 500 rupees every five gourmet meat where as cooking it and selling only gives 490
Im late here but just wanted to say, this is just what i've been looking for! no weird exploits or hacks just simple hunting and gathering. I already have alot of this stuff in my inventory already! Didnt know i was sitting on a rupee mine! Liked and subscribed. Thanks a bunch.
Thanks for this video. Really nicely put together. You also have a great sounding broadcasting voice. Will definitely be following the info in this guide as it doesn't feel like a rupee exploit in the way that some of the "endless rupee" videos do.
I came across your channel because of your video on "how to kill a lynel while naked", but you seriously are producing high quality content for zelda. Sir, you earned the sub.
Someone may have mentioned this, but on your way to Kuh Takkar Shrine for Luminous stones, you can make a pit stop at Sho Dantu Shrine-- it is also surrounded by luminous stones.
Also I'd like to add that your videos are the best I've seen. No self promotional garbage or trying to stretch out the video with a bunch of rambling. Quick, to the point, and most of all-- you offer some really good information. Perfect balance between specificity and brevity! Thanks again.
If you farm a bunch of luminous stones, instead of just selling them go to the Zora domain and trade them into the Zora guy working on one of the bridge pillars near Mipha’s statue. He gives you a diamond for every 10 Luminous stones. That, plus whatever diamonds you may get while farming will add up real fast and you can sell them for a lot of rupees.
Luminous Stone: 70 Rupees Diamond: 500 Rupees 70 x 10 = 700 500 x 1 = 500 700 > 500 You lose out on 200 rupees per diamond in that exchange. Word through the grapevine is that diamonds have a 5% chance of being in the ore deposits, compared to other gemstones with between 20 and 40% chance. Even if you find 1 diamond while harvesting luminous stones, you're denying yourself 200 rupees every time you hand over 10 stones for 1 diamond, AND you're taking time out of your day to travel to the guy who trades before going to a merchant to sell them. Those half-minutes will add up real fast, and so will those 200 rupees you're denying yourself. 10 stones for 1 diamond is 200, 20 for 2 is 400, 30 for 3 is 600... For every 50 luminous stones you exchange for 5 diamonds, you're denying yourself 1,000 rupees, along with however many times you go to the dude to make the trade. The only reason to make the trade is if you're procuring / upgrading an item that requires a diamond before you can have it.
I also like to farm Farosh and early on I did Endura Carrots. You cook up 5 of those and you get close to 500 rupees for the cooked greens. There's quite a few around the Mogg Latan shrine.
I have questions 1. why are you collecting crickets and not wearing shekiah armor 2. why are you mining without boulder breaker or at LEAST sledgehammer, and a SWORD of all things?
for sure. I agree. But this is less "cheaty" I guess and a bit more fun to me idk hahaha. In all honesty, I do both dragon farming and food and stone selling
I just got to 6:02 where he’s at the Dueling Peaks, and that’s actually my go-to when I need ore-that and literally anywhere in the Eldin region. I think it’s safe to say I got there about 8 times each time I play the game lol 😂
I watch this while I’m struggling to find gourmet meat and I only unlocked 3 region on my map yet. This is my first time on Zelda: BotW, the world is huge and worth exploring. I think Zelda can wait me till I get my damn gourmet meat
I farm the gourmet meats and luminous stones but didn’t know about the icy Lizalfos tails + restless crickets! Very nice (you can also farm crickets Hateno village grass fields). Way to make bank!! Also don’t forget about the Gerudo jewel collector in Goron City. Will give more than the shops for sets of 10 gems! Nice video!
I subbed because of your name! New to Switch, blown away by Nintendo. This game has sucked me in, now can I grow & get some cooler items!? I need warm clothes! Where do I get the warm clothes? FYI: I think I speak for most of us, but you don't have to speed up your vids, we'll watch!🙌🧐
You could get more rupees with the Gourmet meat. There's a guy in the Outskirt stable that pays you 100 rupees for each raw gourmet meat, so you lost 10 rupees with each skewer you sold
I already know where to find most of the ingredients and materials, and most of the vid is you showing where to find them. I think it would be nice if you put a list of all the materials and ingredients we need and the quantity in the description :D
If you give 10 luminous stones to a guy in Zora's Domain he will give you a diamond, and you can find a Gorudo in Goron City who will give you 5,500 for 10 diamonds.
1 Diamond = 550 10 Lums = 700 10 Lums = 1 diamond (net loss 150) So you are devaluing your Lums by 150 if you turn them into Diamonds. 70 Lums = 49k 70 Diamonds = 38500 You are short changing yourself at equal amounts of stones of 11,500 rupes.
the raw prime meat can be sold for 100 each to the kid at the outskirt stable. He buys 3/day so you have to sit by the camp fire until morning after you sell him 3. There is a cooking pot and Bettle there to make and sell the other stuff though. good walkthrough. Thanks!
I'm late to the Zelda Botw game but this is by far the best channel I've seen yet for help and tips. Some tips may be tedious it they're fun and you explain very well. Good job dude.
My dad (who's a Legend Of Zelda fan, just like me, my younger brother, and my uncle aka my mom's brother) says that it doesn't matter how you pronounce things in the Zelda universe because it's a fictional game. Well, same thing with pretty much every video game, but still. Like I say "Geh-roo-doh" and my dad says "Jer-oo-doh". I'm not hating or anything, I just wanted to say that. :P
I know this is old--had to take a long break from BOTW and am just now getting back to it. Definitely loved the advice, but I got serious motion sickness watching the sped-up parts lol. Thanks for the help, though. This and the arrow one have been super helpful.
Hey, thank you for the tips! 🙆 BotW is the first 3D Zelda game that I played (am I stupid or what? lol) and I kinda suck, so I always need a lot more rupees to buy the armor and stuff. I tried to farm star fragments, but I just got one... (And I didn't have time to try it more...) I'll try your tips out in my next game session. 😆 💕💕 from Brazil.
Karla Cristina BRAZIL 🇧🇷 IN DA HOUSE! Welcome :) I've been a huge zelda fan since I was a kid. It's great. In botw I sucked when I first started. So looks like we went trough the same thing hahah. Thanks for stopping by and my video on getting star fragments is pretty helpful if you need. How's the weather by the way ?
Hyrule Dude Actually I was using your video, but I really just got one. 😕 And I tried like... ten times... (Ikr I need to play more. Lacking time this past days.) I don't know if the snow matters for the star fragment, but it was snowing in the game. Today I'll have more time to play, so I'm gonna be rich with your tips. 😂😂😂 And the weather is going crazy. I live in Brasília, the savannah-wanna-be of Brazil. We don't have giraffes but we have maned wolves. 😎 The cold season is beginning, campfires and stuff, but in August we'll be fried by the sun, as always.
Alternatively: 1: get 6-7 duplex bows ( you can find them near the yoga hideout) 2: get a shock arrow ( you can buy them in gerudo town, lurelin village, or tarrey town) 3: get any royal guards gear except the bow( they can be found in Hyrule castle) 4: head to the riverside stable( directly northeast of the great plateau tower) and make sure you have an item that isn't the royal guards item equipped 5 pull out one of your duplex bows with the shock arrow equipped ( don't fire the bow, just have it sitting in links hand) 6 press + to open the menu and drop the bow 7 from the menu, equip the next bow and close out 8 repeat 6 and 7 until something is missing from links body in the menu(most commonly he only has his head) 9 change the random item out for the royal guards item in the menu. Link should still hold the random item but the menu says he's holding the royal guards item. If it doesn't work, teleport to the shrine by the stable and try the glitch again 10: if it worked, talk to the girl in the left side of the stable who wants your gear. 11: trade the gear for gemstones, but you still have the gear. Keep trading and enjoy gemstone bliss.

Hey, could you do one about how to tame a horse? Currently waiting on my Switch, soon as I get it, I'll want to get a horse. Does anyone else love the riding animations in BotW? I ride in real and find them to be quite accurate.

Immediately goes south... Where the fairy fountain is.
I rather use Master Sword's beam with Tunic of the Wild's buff for cutting grass. It does a really large trail on plain areas. And it's way more fun, tho.
Eduardo Sá Carneiro
Nice tip ! I will be def using it !
Dragon Horn Farming is more convenient. Period.
Jacob Marcelo
For some.
This seems like a really fun reason to just try to unlock the entire game. Endless rupee hunting along with amazing exploration to be had
I’m so very late to the party! Just bought this yesterday. Was looking at all the gear and stuff in Kakariko and was wondering how I was gonna make the rupees to buy this stuff.
This helps a ton! Thank you!
Just fight a bunch of talus. It's good money
Or Silver/Gold monsters
That's what i do
@Bob Ross which elixir do you make for money?
Just [COPYSTRIKE PEWDIEPIE!]
Good money.
@@metalblade8986 every living monster resurrects after the blood moon
as much as i like these videos i like to play and get money as I go so that i'm not relying on other people to show me how to play.
Aha the ad I got started with "want some extra money?"
Thanks for this video. Really nicely put together. You also have a great sounding broadcasting voice. Will definitely be following the info in this guide as it doesn't feel like a rupee exploit in the way that some of the "endless rupee" videos do.
Late to the game on this one, but if you take the giant horse hunting all you have to do is run into them. Save your bows and no arrows used.
I came across your channel because of your video on "how to kill a lynel while naked", but you seriously are producing high quality content for zelda.
Sir, you earned the sub.
1:55 also forget to mention the silver lynel directly in that path i guess
Someone may have mentioned this, but on your way to Kuh Takkar Shrine for Luminous stones, you can make a pit stop at Sho Dantu Shrine-- it is also surrounded by luminous stones.
+cavok84
Good point !!!
Luminous Stone: 70 Rupees
Diamond: 500 Rupees
70 x 10 = 700
500 x 1 = 500
700 > 500
You lose out on 200 rupees per diamond in that exchange.
I have questions
1. why are you collecting crickets and not wearing shekiah armor
2. why are you mining without boulder breaker or at LEAST sledgehammer, and a SWORD of all things?
Fractured YT 1. Good question. 2. I just had so many weapons at this point and no sledgehammers.
its way easier just to farm farosh in the faron region dude
for sure. I agree. But this is less "cheaty" I guess and a bit more fun to me idk hahaha. In all honesty, I do both dragon farming and food and stone selling
This guys BOTW vids are amazing and very detail oriented.
I just got to 6:02 where he’s at the Dueling Peaks, and that’s actually my go-to when I need ore-that and literally anywhere in the Eldin region. I think it’s safe to say I got there about 8 times each time I play the game lol 😂
keep up the good content mah dude #notificationgang
THANKS BROTHA! You rock man !
Hyrule Dude you really like your stamina
thank you. enjoy your straight forward delivery and tone. subbed. keep it up!
Great video really clear instructions and great tips
I watch this while I’m struggling to find gourmet meat and I only unlocked 3 region on my map yet. This is my first time on Zelda: BotW, the world is huge and worth exploring. I think Zelda can wait me till I get my damn gourmet meat
Finally no clickbait! Thank you! Sincerely!
1st player Luke
You are welcome !!!! Sword on and please stay on the lookout. New videos coming very soon!
You a beast! Cracking up at how you blew up the stones and killed the Rhino beast in the same breath
Wish we could mass cook and mass sell stuff!
THAT WOULD BE SICK! ID PAY FOR THAT DLC. lol
Hyrule Dude Or a recipe list. I can't memorize any USEFUL recipe. I also don't want to write EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. DOWN.
Marco Fantasy You can just select the food and see the recipe you used
Bluerious and what if i already ate it?
+Asra - Just make two one to eat and one too... look at xD
Welbeloved Akulas you can buy a full set of warm clothes in Rito Village
Great video, I completed the game but this vid wants me to play more to complete the hurdle compendium. Keep up the great work! Instant Sub
go find the guy with a snow bowling challenge 300 rupees per strike its easy money keep doing it till ur rich
Omg I just ignored that person well I know what I will do now
Dragon Farming.
I'm a little late to the game, started playing last year but your videos are helping me breeze through..
They're really good..
Thanks man.
Your videos are well made and tremendously helpful! Thanks for doing the good work. 👍🏻
Super new to the game and finding lots of these videos super helpful!! Thank you!!
Awesome video, great instructional and easy how-to for newer players like myself. Appreciate it!
Brian Hubbard
Very glad to help and I hope you love this game as much as I do :)
I didn't realize that the prime meat was worth that much when cooked. I have a huge stack of those things just from general play. Thanks for the tips!
You could get more rupees with the Gourmet meat. There's a guy in the Outskirt stable that pays you 100 rupees for each raw gourmet meat, so you lost 10 rupees with each skewer you sold
Irene Ruiz
Where is that ?
Irene Ruiz Umm no...
meh for money i do gambling, bowling and dragon hunting in the jungle. you can sell too cooked apple in rito village or raw meat at the stable...
it's true he's there, but you can only sell like three per day
Hyrule Dude Next to the coliseum ruins
I already know where to find most of the ingredients and materials, and most of the vid is you showing where to find them. I think it would be nice if you put a list of all the materials and ingredients we need and the quantity in the description :D
If you give 10 luminous stones to a guy in Zora's Domain he will give you a diamond, and you can find a Gorudo in Goron City who will give you 5,500 for 10 diamonds.
1 Diamond = 550
10 Lums = 700
10 Lums = 1 diamond (net loss 150)
So you are devaluing your Lums by 150 if you turn them into Diamonds.
70 Lums = 49k
70 Diamonds = 38500
You are short changing yourself at equal amounts of stones of 11,500 rupes.
I love how you threw the skulls off the cliff lol
Lol
the raw prime meat can be sold for 100 each to the kid at the outskirt stable. He buys 3/day so you have to sit by the camp fire until morning after you sell him 3. There is a cooking pot and Bettle there to make and sell the other stuff though. good walkthrough. Thanks!
If you sell the gems to the Gerudo earing maker she will pay more that a regular store for them like 30-50 rupees more.
I'm late to the Zelda Botw game but this is by far the best channel I've seen yet for help and tips. Some tips may be tedious it they're fun and you explain very well. Good job dude.
Let's just ignore the fact that he has 28 diamonds in his inventory.
If you sell all if your diamonds, you are evil. I keep all of mine even though I never use the champion weapons. I just like having my 17
@@thanospatrick9093 I keep 4, just in case, and I sell if i have more
Great video!! Very helpful & to the point. Nice voice and clear video instructions.
I heard u can sell the gems to someone im garudo that pays double

Ya me subscribi, good video I had my own route to hunt but I'm a beginner, I have a week playing and your videos going to help me a lot, Gracias!
Thank you! Glad to help’
this guy is super good boi however the fact that he says "lizalfolos" makes me wanna kms
its liz-al-fos
not liz-al-fa-los
UGD_InsanityStar rofl 🤣 . I know it’s cringe lol
Same
I say it wrong to lol
My dad (who's a Legend Of Zelda fan, just like me, my younger brother, and my uncle aka my mom's brother) says that it doesn't matter how you pronounce things in the Zelda universe because it's a fictional game. Well, same thing with pretty much every video game, but still. Like I say "Geh-roo-doh" and my dad says "Jer-oo-doh". I'm not hating or anything, I just wanted to say that. :P
Extreme Icecream I agree I’ve always thought that too
Awesome tutorial... loving your channel, and it's making Zelda much more fun.
How can I get ores to respawn? Do they only respawn when a blood moon occurs? What is the basis from which they occur?
Rolando Vargas blood moon. Everything respawns during the blood moon, monsters, weapons, trees etc.
I know this is old--had to take a long break from BOTW and am just now getting back to it. Definitely loved the advice, but I got serious motion sickness watching the sped-up parts lol. Thanks for the help, though. This and the arrow one have been super helpful.
Hey, thank you for the tips! 🙆
BotW is the first 3D Zelda game that I played (am I stupid or what? lol) and I kinda suck, so I always need a lot more rupees to buy the armor and stuff.
I tried to farm star fragments, but I just got one... (And I didn't have time to try it more...)
I'll try your tips out in my next game session. 😆
💕💕 from Brazil.
Karla Cristina
BRAZIL 🇧🇷 IN DA HOUSE!
Lacking time this past days.)
I don't know if the snow matters for the star fragment, but it was snowing in the game.
Today I'll have more time to play, so I'm gonna be rich with your tips. 😂😂😂
And the weather is going crazy. I live in Brasília, the savannah-wanna-be of Brazil. We don't have giraffes but we have maned wolves. 😎
The cold season is beginning, campfires and stuff, but in August we'll be fried by the sun, as always.
@@karlacristina777 It's been 1 year, you tryed Zelda OoT, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princes, Skyward? OoT is a MUST :D
Love love love this video. Thank you so much for your hard work making this. I've liked and subscribed!!!
Alternatively:
1: get 6-7 duplex bows ( you can find them near the yoga hideout)
2: get a shock arrow ( you can buy them in gerudo town, lurelin village, or tarrey town)
3: get any royal guards gear except the bow( they can be found in Hyrule castle)
4: head to the riverside stable( directly northeast of the great plateau tower) and make sure you have an item that isn't the royal guards item equipped
5 pull out one of your duplex bows with the shock arrow equipped ( don't fire the bow, just have it sitting in links hand)
6 press + to open the menu and drop the bow
7 from the menu, equip the next bow and close out
8 repeat 6 and 7 until something is missing from links body in the menu(most commonly he only has his head)
9 change the random item out for the royal guards item in the menu. Link should still hold the random item but the menu says he's holding the royal guards item. If it doesn't work, teleport to the shrine by the stable and try the glitch again
10: if it worked, talk to the girl in the left side of the stable who wants your gear.
11: trade the gear for gemstones, but you still have the gear. Keep trading and enjoy gemstone bliss.
DramStrat menu overloading is the best!
Also there's a quest in. Zoras domain where you can anytime trade 10 luminous stones for 1 diamond
You should have sold the first 10 luminous stones to the Zora in zoras domain repairing the pillars he gives you 2 diamonds (1000) for 10 the first time
Aristeo Tenedora you’ll get 700 if you sell them to a merchant. So if you sell 20 luminous stones, you’ll get 1400. Giving them to the Zora dude is a rip off and mostly for repairing miphas weapon
Great video! Following your video, I finally managed to unlock the last Fairy Fountain! Upgraded my clothes to level 4 and DAMN they are tough! Now I can take on Lynels without using Stasis! You just earn a new sub bro, keep up the great work!
Guys at a certain stable (can’t remember at the moment but will update when I remember)
There is a guy who will buy raw gourmet meat for 💯 a peace which will give you 500 for every 5 instead of 400 for cooking 5
I can't remember which stable either :/ ....
Frosty Meerkat, outskirts stable. A guy named Trott
Outskirt*
Limit 3 per day
Legends say he never remembered it
I can normally tell when a channel is bad but yours is amazing I can't believe that you don't have more subscribers, dude!
how often do stone ores respawn and could you maybe give me a list of where to go to get them?
It's actually a better idea to give the gourmet meat to the guy at outskirt stable.
Thank you very much for help ! Good job and keep up the good work ! Take care ! Cheers and Peace !
I usually just sell food for rupees since I am in early game rn
Awesome vid, very helpful stuff!!! I am gonna get busy doing this!!!
Try this
2 Spicy pepper + 1 raw gourmet meat + 2 hearty saimon
Cost : 170 rupees
I love his vids, they help me so much!!! Thanks Hyrule Dude!
Thank you for posting a legit farming method/route and not an exploit, looks like it's time for me to buy that armor I haven't got yet.
You got it! Its fun too!
How long does it take for the ore deposits & luminous stones to respawn? Would they all be back by the time you got done crafting & selling?
Gotta wait for the next blood moon for deposits to renew, friend
Eric Krul thank you. The video didn’t say. Just said wait a few days.
10 luminus stones equal 1 diamond, yet 10 luminus stones sell for 700 rupies and a diamond sells for 500 rupies, OK guys?
Nicely done! Great video.
I thought i was the only one who hit the grass for stuff. Huh.
This was an excellent guide! Thank you so much
Hey, could you do one about how to tame a horse? Currently waiting on my Switch, soon as I get it, I'll want to get a horse. Does anyone else love the riding animations in BotW? I ride in real and find them to be quite accurate.
Vanessa Kittenheart
I sure can! Stay on the look out and I'll make one.
True story ...I actually stole, tamed, and rode a skeleton horse from a dead bokoblin rider until the sun killed it... Couldn't find a way to the nearest stable in time to see what would happen if I tried to register Icabod Crane...
