There's so many of us,
So many of us,
So many, there's so many, there's so many
Let's have a war,
So you can go and die,
Let's have a war,
We could all use the money,
Let's have a war,
We need the space,
Let's have a war,
Clean out this place
It already started in the city,
Suburbia will be just as easy
Let's have a war,
Jack up the Dow Jones,
Let's have a war,
It can start in New Jersey,
Let's have a war,
Blame it on the middle-class,
Let's have a war,
We're like rats in a cage
It already started in the city,
Suburbia will be just as easy
Let's have a war,
Sell the rights to the networks,
Let's have a war,
Let our wallets get fat like last time,
Let's have a war,
Give guns to the queers,
Let's have a war,
The enemy's within
It already started in the city,
Suburbia will be just as easy

All a perfect circle songs in this user
This song is relevant even as of today.
and today :(
And for as long as humans exist.
who's here from the quarantine? Ive been listening to this album a good 15 or so years
not quite 15 but at least 10 years I've been listening to this
Since it came out.... not my favorite apc, but as someone above said, a perfect circle can do no wrong in my mind. I'm here from an article about the band "#FEAR" and their iconic appearance on #SNL . I wanted to listen to them back to back.... I wonder who from #APC had this idea.... lol
Great choice!
Meee 🤚
it really scares me how relevant this album is becoming to whats going on in the country
truth
This is an old song, but it fits the world, I agree with you. Go check out "Soviet Tactics." This video is designed to call out the strong so that there is no resistance. Don't move until you exist.
And after today it's become even more relevant
I know. But at this point, if people can no longer settle things with civilized debate and discussion.
Lets see how they will survive and all out war. Or will they run and hide. I for one keep losing my ability to restrain.
Cant shatter the echo chambers when they have their ears permanently plugged. So i wonder, how much blood shed is required to make people sit back down and start fucking listening.
To qoute the doctor "to do what they should have done from the start, sit down and talk"
@@wakcedout Lee Ving always wrote with a large chunk of sarcasm. It's like shit you might hear Archie Bunker sqwak about
this is why i apc. they deliver so many different types of sounds and music.
gosh they're amazing!
Just the transition between the songs on the album. It's perfect.
Gotta say that the Fear original is gonna be my favorite, but literally...Maynard and Perfect Circle cannot do any wrong in my mind.
this needs a drum cover, the drums are amazing
never thought i would see a cover to this song
The best album!
THE AMOUNT OF TIMES I HAVE SAT HERE LISTENING THEN HAD THE SONG FINISHED BUT BEEN SO FOCUSED ON WHAT IM DOING I FORGET I WAS LISTENING TO MUSIC THEN 2 MINUTES LATER SOME RANDOM APC SONG STARTS PLAYING IS LITERALLY TO UNCOUNTABLE
There's so many of us.
+Trevor Philips Let's control the population with legal drugs, propaganda, hope and many other useful products that i'm sure they will adore.. :)
As someone in a state with a large impoverished population, most abortion clinics closed down (closest one to me is over 300 miles away), pharmacists who deny patrons birth control and Plan B on 'moral grounds' and defunding of Planned Parenthood... Sure. Sounds logical.
Jim Garrison kill off religion
It already started in the city.
We haven't even made it to stage 1
I couldn't sleep, because I had this song in my ears all night. *_*
Great.
Love this song.
Every day this is more relevant.
now THIS is a song that needs to be on rock band. gotta have plenty of red bull for those drums too. damn..
I love that frickin intro...There's so many of us There's many of us.
this is the coolest cover ever
This speaks on so many levels. Especially if you've seen movies like "Hotel Rwanda". War can be spontaneous and hateful... as opposed to the ones you see coming.
I love Fear and Perfect Circle.... and the blending... is... AWESOME.
Thankfully, he knows how to make this song enjoyable to human ears.
its experiment, and its good.. Everything including Maynard is not just one genre.. its always experiment and thats why it is so good
those drums are crazy as hell! love it
His voice in this one just... Leaves me drooling.
I love how the end of this song moves flawlessly into the next.
Relevant af
Maynards lyrics are very educational. I've listened to Tool since the 90's and back then I didn't get it all.
Then 911 happened and I started doing my homework.
Now me and Maynard are on the same page. I think the terms 'genius' and 'artist' is over-used these days, but Maynard is definately both.
Great cover!
Sadly, we fight each other while this becomes reality.
It's happening
i love the way he says" it already started in the city" with the music rousing up as if trouble's a brewin XD 0:47
Look, I'm A Perfect Circle. I'm gonna read lyrics instead of sing them, with guitars and basses playing tuned low. Then were gonna totally wear black eyeliner and write some dark poetry. I remember listening to this music in high school. God, the Hell was I thinking?
APC makes the best covers of songs i have ever heard.
OMG that is such a great version
Great cover
A lot of people say this and that about covers.
What most people don't realize is a cover is supposed to be a whole new take on a song. Which is what this is.
But since most people won't listen, I'll just say.
APC > Fear for Let's Have a War
Even though FEAR did make this song originally, APC did a fantastic job for a re-cover, espechally having it's own sound incorporated into the lyrics :D
So much better than the original non melodic screaming version.
woooo FEAR and wooooo APC!!!!!!
That's the Government singing and the people of freedom screaming
I like how APC's songs are scattered about UA-cam with random people uploading their songs, instead of having APerfectCircleVEVO or something like that.
I have no idea why I like this song so much but I do
personally, this is one of my favorite albums ever
If this band were to start their own govermnent I would join it in seconds. That would be one hell of a genvermnent. I like it =D
:D epic!
More relevant than ever.
Fear cover? Nice.
I like this. : 3
Great Freaken Song
I haven't heard the original, but I quite like this. ^_^
looks like we got a bad ass over here
I feel this is more relevant now than ever.
I'm mostley into prog, so for me this is just totally loveable. :)
It already started in the city. Suburbia will be Just as easy.
War is not about who is right, it is about who is left.
this sounds like a song i heard on an anime Samurai CHamploo, seriously i love it
This is the 1st time I've heard this song and WHAT!?!?! Is he warning us? is he pushing for it? both? I saw the RP/AJ reference below and I have to admit that's in a similar direction. but WHAT!?!?! sick song and I'm going to hit reply now... Happy St. Patty's day! FEAR's version is just as good to me... btw!
War strips man of all the things that make him. We get to see the true face of mankind, what we really are inside.
This version is cool, but I prefer the Fear version
Fear was raw and pure, unlike this technodrivel. This is more like "Let's have a war and drink some herbal tea."
It's a love-heart =]
Good cover, very different to the original FEAR version I grew up with but trippy
@MrThatsjustsad Nope. Just a few drums, a couple of cymbals, 2 sticks, and an absolute fucking genius using it all. I'm also fairly convinced that like 90% of it is just snare, hi-hat, and a bass pedal. Blows my mind.
@XxriflexpertxX nice one!
Did everyone know that wrestling (the one) is COMPLETLY STAGED?
i love this song my dad has it in his car this vieo is better than th other vieo
Of course they HAD to make a gnarly-ass song into like, a 6-minute mini-musical.
WAOOW NO WAI!!
Everyone's getting the lyrics wrong anyway, at the start he's saying "Who's from Minneapolis?" and the chorus is "let's have a wall!!"
I think it draws people because it makes sense. everything this says does. people just don't like to think about this kind of stuff, because its considered immoral by the majority. Great song. great ideas.
This is a cover of a song by the band Fear. It has nothing to do with demons or such nonsense. It's about starting a war to reduce the population of humans, because there are "so many of us".
@yamizaki7
symbolt is correct. Peacefulness is the way forward, war is the way backward. The idea that we have to use force for anything is an ancient, disastrous way of thinking. You're willing to die in the name of war but not peace. Something is amiss there.
And here we go again
XD I like the fact that they throw in New Jersey in there
@devandati agree on it all my friend, apart from one thing, it should be the beautification of our WORLD, unless you are a patriot, then by all means, go ahead and make your country the best it can (which ever country that may be)
god the more i listen to this the more i love it. SO GOOD, like chocolate and sex and cocaine all mixed innto one format
wow, so much better than the original.
you should listen to 'count bodies like sheep' by a perfect circle. That is practically taunting you to sleep.
@ArmenianSnipe13 What genre would you put APC in?
maynard obv. lol mite have some utha ppl on there too but im guessing since hes APC's frontman hed be singing =D
thanks for the reply, I didn't realize there were 2 drum tracks. That makes sense :)
Hey... your right.
I prefer this one so much more than the FEAR version.
Wow, they just turned a Hardcore Punk song into an Alternative song lol
No, I get it. I was simply just saying out of all of his side projects, this album was the closest to another.
@MikonataHatsumi ok, so is that not a just enough reason to go to war? To prevent war from coming to your soil? to prevent the loss of your innocent people?
@spoogeling We however have a much larger pre-frontal cortex than most other organisms, allowing us to use conscious foresight if we so wish. Also, we have culture to a degree most other organisms dont. This is why we should be able to overcome our base urges, and those who don't shouldn't be able to hide behind your logic.
i love war its the way i am and i love this song
guys ready for a war?
ponies, start them flame wars
Yes
We will clean out this place........
I had to look up who sang it first. I just couldn't place it. I think its badass they did a fear cover. Who does fear covers?
@yamizaki7 Are you saying that if I don't want any war, it means that's what I would like to happen? Or that this would happen if I don't want any war?
i get bad trips when i lsten to this
aphex twin kicks ass
so much better than the original
my kind of song when i go to schoooooooool :D
There's soooooo many of us
@D0W666 These lyrics aren't by Maynard. This is a cover of a Fear song.
gabymsowa
Description underneath reflects incorrect (says 8, not 9) track name, top-level-video description is correct.
lmfao that was funny i just heard that part and laughed
theres a version by from autumn to ashes. not sure if its the original
