I posted a comment on Indya's video as well, it looks gorgeous on both of you ladies! I had this hair for my birthday last year. The key is not to split it though it did make for a harder install trying to slide it under my cornrows. I used a lot of hair chile.... 7pks of the 2x pack, it was heavy but it gave me the look I wanted for my birthday. I had it in for 4 weeks, could have gone 5 or 6. I detangled 2-3x a week with Hawaiian Silky, medium maintenance for me. I also had mine in a solid color 4 so that may have been a factor too in why it lasted for me. Thanks for the thorough review as usual!

Great review. I have this hair installed (color #2 and I left it long. and it's been a month and it still in good shape. I use Cantu products and detangle at night. Then I do individual twists, and put my hair up at night using a scrunchie.
See the person who was doing the pedicures was a HATER! Couldn’t stand you getting compliments. I see no other reason why she felt the need to say what she said. I think the only time it’s appropriate to ask if that’s someone’s hair is if you are in PRIVATE. I had a fellow BW ask me quietly if my hair was mine. I said nope it’s a wig and she wanted the details and I happily gave them to her. She didn’t put me on blast. Sorry for my rant lol.
I agree this hair does not go good with mousse. It really dries it out and tangles it . I found that using a water and leave in conditioner spray mixture works best for this kind of hair. I was able to keep it in for about 8 weeks. It has to be twisted in sections every night otherwise you get some serious frizz so it’s definitely moderate to high maintenance hair
I got so many compliments when I wore this hair 🥰 I think it has the best ombre color in comparison to freetress! But as always you look beautiful thanks for the review

Yes this does look good on you ❤️❤️ it sucks that it couldn’t have lasted longer. As far as the lulu Tres beach curl, I put it on my daughter and it got extremely messed up within like a day or two like terribly messed up. They used the cheapest plastic ever when they made that lulu Tres beach curl 😩💔
Lia this was an excellent review as per usual and thank you to all the commenters tips too (like, use a spray mist mix of conditioner and water rather than mouse). Deffo try and support this UK business if I can!
Lulutress Island hair is bomb for swimming. Took it to Barbados and as long as you trim, you're golden. I might like it better than freetress bohemian braid.
Okay I can now delete this hair from my cart because I was hesitant about it. Maybe I'll get it this summer for a quick going out type of situation. TFS
@@LiaLavon I had the same color lol I had to circle back and share my experience with this hair. I still have it installed, going on 5 weeks now. Def a high maintenance hair! I kept it long and.. it's aight once you train and tame the hair with a nice little routine. I used water/ downy mixture spray to detangle and twist at night. Then used cantu shine + hold spray in the morning to get that shine back. I would install this hair again... in the far future LOL I'm more of a pineapple n go kinda gal and this is not the hair for that lol

I thought the same when I started crocheting my hair. I'm 57 and my mom was a hair stylist but she only used human hair for any extensions,; braids weaves, or pony tails. When I started wearing crochet hair it helped my Har to grow and I haven doing my doos for 2 years. I love the freedom and the independence doing my own hair is being amazed at being my own stylist. I hope you try one. I actually love Freetress Beach Curl or Presto Curl. I will be trying the Bobbi Boss hair. Good luck Sis
I have been quite delighted. It's great to have Lia Lavon to review many types of hair. To me, the most important properties of synthetic hair are the amount and likelihood of tangling, roughness, softness and slickness. I have had much success with Bobbi Boss hair. I like short hair and typically buy children's braids and waves. My favorite style is a 12 inch bob. I have done it with different curl patterns and lengths. I use the shorter length at the bottom and the longest in the crown.
I really do enjoy your videos, very thorough. I am still rocking my 1st curly crochet, I don't recall what brand I bought but it is more like a tight curl. I low key want to take it out to wash my hair since I am hesitant to get it wet but is still holding up well and it's week 3. Question...have you ever tried a little fabric softener and water mix to soften it up? I've heard on YT fabric softeners help to detangle synthetic wigs and I have tried it for a wig before but of course I washed it out after but just wondering if maybe water and fabric softener spray would work? I may try it after I take my hair out to see. Btw it looked beautiful long and short on you.

I haven’t tried this hair but I swear someone posted on one of your videos about S Curl gel and it worked for my curlier hair. Also, Indya Ajai used a Cantù shine and hold mist on this hair that I’m excited to try. And speaking of colored hair, I just told my friend that when I’m trying a new hair, it has to be black because colored hair performs differently. Thanks for the thorough review!! Hey Lia! Love your channel so much. This hair that you gave the thumbs down is my absolute favorite hair lol. I’ve worn it twice now, the color is dark with red highlights. It is definitely not hair you can just put a bonnet on and go to bed, it is relatively high maintenance (Hawaiian Silky detangle every night) but for me, so worth it! I got about six weeks wear and it looked good till the end. Thanks for the heads up - I will not wear it on my beach vacation!
So i currently have this hair in my head and it has been a month. I did pretty much the same color as you, except i also included some of TP1b/27. I also wore it a little but shorter (like 16 inches) instead of the actual length. I think your only mistake was taking it in water. I did the pineapple bonnet method everyday and ONLY detangled it with water and fabric softener and twisted it up once a week. Planning on wearing it for 2 more weeks! I really think you should try it again!

This hair is HORRIBLE. I have literally only had it in one week. 1 week. Onneeee week and BEFORE the week was out this hair tangled and just looked so bad. I’m taking it out this weekend so maybe 1.5 weeks of wear. I did split the hair. I am active and nah fam it’s not water or active friendly. I gave a vendor option, with most of the hair you don’t have to buy from anywhere I suggest. You could literally just walk into your local beauty supply store if you wanted. It wasn’t on Amazon a year ago when I reviewed so the me in this video is reviewing with the information I had back in 2021

I agree. Also mousse dries this hair severely so it’s better to use a conditioning mist to style

This hair is HORRIBLE. I have literally only had it in one week. 1 week. Onneeee week and BEFORE the week was out this hair tangled and just looked so bad. I’m taking it out this weekend so maybe 1.5 weeks of wear. I did split the hair. I am active and nah fam it’s not water or active friendly. I gave a vendor option, with most of the hair you don’t have to buy from anywhere I suggest. You could literally just walk into your local beauty supply store if you wanted. It wasn’t on Amazon a year ago when I reviewed so the me in this video is reviewing with the information I had back in 2021
