Everything looks cold - the lake, the plants, the birds, and you! Beautiful frozen scenes and love the music in your videos. Great Q & A - Wow, 2 videos/week. My goal is to go back and watch them all, but that will be a tall order. I can’t even keep up with your new ones. 🙂Thank you for all your time, effort, and enthusiasm!
Thanks! I was definitely feeling the cold, but it was worth it for those frozen scenes. 😊 That's super nice of you as well! Take your time and I appreciate your support!
You are an absolute beast managing YT, school, and family all at once! UA-cam is much more time consuming than I anticipated and it really makes me foster a higher appreciation for people like you putting all the hard work into entertaining us with your incredible content. Keep up the good work!
BirdTube is the best community out there!! Thanks again for another fantastic video! Finally getting caught up on content so rip your notifications lol
Good morning 🌅 to you from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. Yesterday, during my morning walk up on the hills, I had another ‘LIFER’. I saw a Yellow-bellied Tit. This bird is endemic to China. This bird had also been seen by many bird enthusiasts in Taiwan 🇹🇼 six 6️⃣ years ago - I saw this event on UA-cam yesterday evening.
Enjoying your videos and Hawk’s videos! I’m planning a trip to Utah/Idaho in April. Maybe we’ll cross paths! I’m learning a lot of places to go to on here. Utah and Idaho will be my last 2 western states to go birding in!
Hi, make sure you can go to the Great Salt Lake Causeway but if we still are in drought conditions, it could be a wee bit hard to see everything you would normally see. We are hoping for a wet winter .
yeah man, ah Australia & Tasmania are on my list as well, even the Everglades too, was just speaking to someone from California about the Everglades here in Portugal! Thanks for the answer, birding is best!
Typically I look at Facebook groups. I also have a slight advantage as people watch the channel and then reach out to go birding. But social media groups are really helpful! Also Christmas Bird Counts are great for making new bird friends locally!

I really appreciate that! It's a lot to juggle, but I'm trying my best to keep up! Means so much!
as someone from California I laughed out loud when you said 30° is “not terribly cold” 😂
Yeahhhh, it was a warm one hahaha

I couldn't agree more! It's so great to connect with other birders! Thanks for binging my videos! It means a lot haha!

Good morning Mark! Congrats on another lifer! You're on fire!
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😄😄😄😄Totally unexpected bird in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. Certainly a rare experience for me 😄😄😄😄
Would have never have thought Pokémon Go!! Thanks for answering my Q
I will still occasionally watch Pokemon content. But I guess I just like collecting things haha.
My total number of bird species on my life list is 218.
Wow that's awesome!

Let us know when you head to Utah and maybe we can come birding with you!

Birding is just Pokemon Go for adults.
That is pretty true. Or is Pokemon Go just birding for kids? ;)

Thanks for your question! Maybe we can meet up in one of those spots someday!
Where are you birding in California? Let me know if you need any help with targets in Northern California. I'm based in the Sacramento area.
I am primarily around the LA area unfortunately. But I will definitely let you know when I take a more Northern California trip! Thanks!
How do you find others to bird with?

Can I give you some camera recommendations?
Go for it. The one I'm leaning towards is the Nikon Z6iii with the 180-600mm z lens.
That’s actually the camera I was going to recommend, make sure you get a camera with a electric viewfinder not optical
