i just love how Alfonso Cuaron is so mesmerised by Bradley Cooper. I love these two. Wow.
Lot of haters on these comments. God forbid someone wants to talk about their film, ESPECIALLY when guys like Alfonso Cuarón, Spike Lee, and Steven Spielberg are interested. He literally has some of the best filmmakers of all time giving him his flowers.
Right, and what a treat it must be for these folks in the audience who just got to see the movie, to listen to Spielberg or Alfonso. Granted, yes he's heavy promoting his film, but it's tasteful and not 'desperate campaigning' like some seem to think
Cooper has spent the last 5-6 years prepping and making this movie. What’s he suppose to do? Talk about it once and then shut up? I’d be waving my flag screaming from the hilltops to anyone that listened if I were in his shoes
It's interesting hearing the different directors interview Bradley, they all had different questions
This film is a Masterpiece.
This deserves Oscar nominations.
2 Oscars for Bradley (actor/director)
Oscar for Carey Mulligan
Oscar for best movie
at least.
But Cinematography and Custom Design and Production Design it's also amazing.
This is, by a mile, the best interviewer Bradley has had in this press circuit. Cuarón is a GOAT
You read my mind. Best interview I've seen from any filmmaker since Scorsese was going around for Killers of the Flower Moon. Cuarón is such a great interviewer (and an even better director).
I cried during that conducting scene! So moving!
Bradley is DOING THE ROUNDS
Happy to see this. Alfonso is an incredible artist, hearing him speak is always valuable. This and last years 'three amigos' panel are much-welcomed surprises and Netflix is smart to put them on UA-cam. Looking forward to Maestro as it does look great
Alfonso Cuaron!!!😍😍😍
Im SO proud of you. So proud.
Bradley is campaigning HARD for that Oscar.
Te amo Alfonso!
Can he discuss Disclaimer series? Damn. That’s what we want.
I was here and it was AWESOME! Got to ask my question.
No other director has done so many director on director series and other series so quickly. Man this really wants the Oscars.
Sadly this isn’t even Netflix’s best film May/December has a stronger shot
@@dumemnduka7930might be a better film, but no one is talking about it. Maestro has all the buzz
@@dumemnduka7930nah, Maestro will get the Best Picture nom over May/December
He should advocate for his hard work. It is an excellent film. May December is too complex for most. Although it is brilliant.
Buggs Bunny inspires me too. 🐰
Great interview!!!
I want his glasses. Anyone knows how to find?
I want him
@@amycuaresma it's on now!
Bradley 😍😘❤️
Even if you hate Bradley Cooper, it's impossible not to like this film. It looks like CK. Cooper really puts his soul into the performance. Carey Mulligan is equally transcendent.
Why ever would anyone "hate Bradley Cooper"??
Were you paid to write this?
Damn Netflix really want that Oscar. They are going all in promoting this movie. They didn't even push The Irishman like that.
And May/December has a stronger shot😭
Its honestly a little closer to Citizen Kane (i don't even mean it as a meme or diss to The Irishman) with the prosthetics, lead/director combo, and amazing filmmaking (which both have of course but one is half b&w and different aspect ratios)
Scorsese isn’t interested in running around promoting as much as cooper is would be one reason. Scorsese does the rounds sure but he, like most, and especially in his position, has a limit but it’s pretty clear Cooper has no problem doing as many of these things as possible… and it makes sense the guys young (as far as being a director is concerned), passionate about the film and hungry to have it be seen and hungry for the acclaim that comes with being in the running for those awards. I’d say it appears he wants it more than Netflix does otherwise he’d have been content just doing half of the promotional shit he’s done thus far.
@@RBGRBGRBGRBG
All the promo is contactual. They invested in his film, he has to promote it. It's beneficial to everyone.
Scorsese already has a bunch of Oscars, he is older and more senior in the game. He doesn't need to campaign so hard. I'm also convinced, Bradley, would be interested in any long/short term term deal, Netflix, could offer if he gives them another Oscar (which is always a huge achievement for a streaming service).
Both Bradley and Netflix are doubling their effort to win and I don't think it's a bad thing. You have to go after what you want. May the best win, at this point.
@@Bee000 yea, and he wrote, directed, produced and acted in the film. I’m pretty sure he had some say in the decision when he sat down with Spielberg (who was the big producer on the film) or whoever else at the studio when they wrote that contract. Of course, it’s always contractual, but the degree to which it’s done, and how much promotion he would have to do, especially in cases like this (where Cooper clearly has a degree of control and is already a bankable star with plenty of weight to throw around in those rooms) makes me think that he was probably a big part of the decision to promote it *to the degree* that he is.
Someone can tell me if Bradley Cooper has a rhotic or a non-rothic accent in those general interviews please ?
I'm sure Brad just wants to correct people and say not /bernstiin/ /bernstaiiin/!!!
Holding seances at the Dakota? What could possibly go wrong...
"Maestro" has SO much talent involved. It's not a dull film at all, but it's tragically lacking a coherent point. I wish it had been the masterpiece that "important" Hollywood people seem to think it is, but the script is flawed. Those of us who already love Leonard Bernstein's music and personality will probably be confused by its focus on Felicia (Carey). Omitting "West Side Story" origins and how it changed Broadway was a missed opportunity.
I agree the script is flawed. I dont get it how it earned an Oscar nomination...
Fly Eagles Fly!!! Go Birds!!!
Incredible acting, great direction, wonderful.cinematography but worried all this hype would jinx it at the Oscars.
The acting is excellent. The story is important. It's too bad the Tobacco lobby bought and paid for this film as an advertisement for smoking cigarettes. Shame on you for selling out to big Tobacco and compromising your creative genius while reducing a good story to a cheap advertisement for smoking and lung cancer.
Bravo Cabron!!
It’s gonna be so funny when Nolan wins everything
I truly hope he does, Oppenheimer was excellent. Much better than Maestro, Killers of the Flower Moon and Barbie.
not true @@englandsensation
nope maestro will clean house
On
Bernstein sounds nothing like Cooper in the movie, lol
cooper nailed it. he became bernstein
We’re all on the same page. The first thing I thought was he REALLY wants that Oscar😂😂😂😂 I really want him to relax already🥲
It would be so funny if he didn't win since he's campaigning so hard for it
It's not just him. Netflix is pushing this movie like crazy.
@Bee000 yeah true. Is it getting a wide release at all? Or will it just be on Netflix?
@@christ-air-backflip-720fla6 Only Netflix for worldwide release. I'm in Europe it's out today for us. Better worth the hype.
@christ-air-backflip-720fla6 Selected theatres in the US and Netflix only for the rest of the world. I'm watching it tonight and it better be good.
Seeing all of the directors on directors surrounding this makes me not want to see it. I'll watch Ferarri first.
Glauben Sie nicht dass Sie mit diesem Film das echtes Bild über einer der großen Dirigent des 20 Jahrhundert Leonard Bernstein zerstören könnten?!
Incredible???? You mean TERRIBLE
What about the elephant in the living room? Bernstein purposely made composers, other than him, sound bad. The press made him a CLASSICAL SACRED COW. No matter what he did on stage, they called it "the greatest." In the 1980's, he conducted all 9 of Beethoven's symphonies on TV. He used multiple methods rigging the sound of the orchestra (even adding trumpets), creating a horrible sound. Between performances he was asked about Beethoven's ability to orchestrate, he says, " IT'S BAD! HE HAS THE TRUMPETS STICKING OUT AND THEY'RE DROWNING OUT EVERYBODY ELCE." My UA-cam video titled, THE REAL MAESTRO, documents his vandalism and brainwashing stunts on television.
It never fails. You're in every video crying in the comments. Absolutely adorable.
I really hope the movie is as great as they’re making it out to be, Lenny deserves it
