Hi Jeffrey, like you I'm a train man, but I still appreciate the work and talent required to produce those cars, some of the paint finishes were fantastic. It was an excellent museum, for most of the time I had the place to myself.

The car collection is indescribable. Many famous names (like Frd Thunderbird, Mercury Cougar) of cars whose shape was still designed by hand and not constructed in computers. - Heinz

This museum was an unexpected bonus, I didn't know it existed. The cars reminded me of old American movies.

Wow this sure brought back some good memories for me. My husband before he passed use to do car Reupholstery. And did so many of them type of cars. I seen some pretty unique cars in them years. We had our own shop so collector's would tell everyone where they got there cars done and they would travel miles even states to have him do the inside of their cars and boats too. Thanks for sharing this. Loved it.? How did engineers keep track of all them handles in that train what each was for? That's a lot Safe travels ahead. God bless.

Hi, its nice this bought back some good memories. My brother in law built a model T hot rod, he took it to a specialist to have it upholstered in white leather with red beading, it looked stunning when it was finished and he won "Custom Car" of the year with it. There were a lot of valves and handles in the cab of the Big Boy, I guess if you use them all the time you soon remember what they all do.

I would love to do the Yukon Pass one day. I am just about to set off on a two week tour of Slovakia on a special steam train.

    Hi Tim,
I would like to link to your video from a new Colorado tourism site. Wanted to make sure that that was okay, and that the video would remain up on UA-cam. Thanks in advance,
    Rob

Hi Rob, You are welcome to embed a link to this video and it will be available for as long as this channel exists. Colorado is an amazing place, with so much to see and do.

Thanks Tim, I really appreciate it. That is a great video. Yes, Colorado is an amazing place. Here is a link to the page if you're interested: unlockcolorado.com/the-forney-transportation-museum/ This site is still being established so the header links on the page are largely marginally functional, but this will change drastically in the next 3-4 weeks.
      Thanks again,
      Rob

Cheers, thanks for the link, the page looks good. The Forney Museum is really worth visiting, so it makes good sense to bring it to the attention of visitors and locals alike. Please let me know when the site is nearing completion because I'd love to take another look.

Will do Tim. It will be the most comprehensive, one-stop shopping for things to do in Colorado.

Hello Tim! Thanks for filming again. I think the museum exponats - include steam loco between horse and cars - are sign of this 'modern' epoch... But painting a 'graffity' on many cars is sign of just 'post-modern' style... And it's devil sign of the epoch - so skulls and naked 'beauties' that is vivid confirmation - is not it?

This museum covers all aspects of transport over the years. Not sure about the art, but is was very well done, reminded me of the work of a tattoo artist.

Hi! None, I talked around don't just this art! I talked about what 'graffiti art' on cars is, at least, bad taste and decline of morality in society after the 70s, as roughly: so, in different countries this process in different ways and projects at different rates... In a 'patriarchal' -- it's slower... Obviously, the 'graffiti' on the car was done by their owners, but not by museum workers! :-)
