    This video was awesome, came out exactly how I wanted. I used a smaller hook so I did an extra increase row to get the measurements right, and it was perfect. It was even a quick project, and because it’s top down, works awesome for gradient yarn colors. I’ve already gotten some compliments on it!

    I'm new at crochet, about two months. Your directions are very good, but my beret is, uh, a little wonky. It looks like it has too many stitches. I think Its because the yarn and needle size are probably not a match. I'm nearly finished and I think it will look fine. This sort of thing used to happen to me when I started knitting, which is why I don't knit any more. I love crocheting and I think in time I'll get it right. Thank you.

    Is 5mm hook okay!? I still get confused with yarn sizes and hooks size, like do I need the exact size for both or does one matter more than the other not does it not really matter, mainly with hook sizes as I'm getting better at converting different yarn sizes.

    I messed up because I had too many stiches by the 12 th row I had 134 stitches so I tried to decrease more in the brim, it didn’t work. I will jot down the instructions the next time. At least you explained slower than others. Thank you, it’s a work in progress ; like me.

    • @AhselAnneCrochet
      @AhselAnneCrochet  Рік тому

      Ut Oh, did you figure out how to fix it yet, I see you made this comment a few weeks ago? Have you completely finished the hat or do you still have some rounds to create? You can make it a little larger by using a double crochet stitches instead of a single crochet in the last rounds. Also make sure you don't complete the slip stitch round, this will round make the brim tighter.
