I am not a beginner but I was having such a hard time with slouch hats and thanks to your patience your Technique and your guidance I made the perfect hat I just want you to know you are appreciated😅
This is one of the most helpful tutorials Ive ever watched
I am making this beanie, but with red wool and white circles to make it look like a mushroom! This tutorial is very helpful, thank you ❤️
I'm new to crochet, but I love it. I made this beanie for my granddaughter, and it turned out great. Just a few flaws that most people wouldn't notice. Thank you. You're a great teacher. 😊
I am making my first beanie and your “finishing rounds” instruction was sooo helpful. Thank-you.
last edit! this was my first project as a huge beginner to crocheting and this was a pretty good tutorial! i think showing us exactly where some of the holes to double crochet in (like a fellow commenter also said) would be great! and including how exactly to tie off the hat would also be helpful, as i had no idea how to do that and had to go to another tutorial. overall, a good tutorial, even if i had to ask my mom for some help (who crocheted years ago and coincidentally the person i made this hat for). i learned a lot from this video anyways so thank you and good luck in your future endeavors!
made an adult large, across 6 days total balancing high school :)

Just finished one for my teenaged daughter. I was following the adult medium directions and still had to do a little extra decreasing for it to fit the way she wanted, but she's thrilled with it. Thank you for the easy to follow tutorial. :)
Just finished making mine!! Love it! Thank you for the easy tutorial
thanks youre a great teacher its my very first crochet project and i finished it perfectly in 5hrs i love it
this was great thank you. I added some flowers and lace applique in red with the same grey you used as a primary color.
thanks for the tutorial
Awesomely beautiful 😍 pattern thank you 👍🏾
I just finished making this. I love it. I changed the yarn for the last 5 rows to give it a brim effect. It is very pretty!
Thanks for this easy tutorial. It came out nice. I think my daughter will like it.
You are a great teacher! Thanks!
made one of these myself - red wool, but I'm going to make it in black as well
I did the same way but it didn't bend for me what's the reason?
Thank you for sharing❤️ and caring! I made it as gift for a friend and decide to make another one 😊so Nice and easy was! (By the way i use 2 more decreases rol )
I am a beginner and feel it would have been great if the round numbers could have been mentioned as well as remaining stitches. Then we k kw we are on track
Excellent feedback, thank you kindly. I will certainly keep this in mind in future videos
Please say what Rows your on.
I like the pattern, thank you! I wish you would include how many yards you used. I am going to try with what I have. Thank you for the pattern!
Excellent feedback, thank you. I will keep this in mind for future videos.
I'm a little late to the party, but if i want to make it a little bigger, i suppose i add on 2 more in the beginning where you made 8? Can i add 4 more to make it 12 instead of 8??
Very cute thank u 💓
Gained a Sub. This sounds really easy. I want to make one of these for each one of my granddaughters (4) and (6)grand-nieces and one for each of my sisters! for Christmas!
Thank you so much☺️☺️☺️
Do you have a fingerless gloves pattern to go with your hats.
Thankya! Making one right now :)
I just finished mine and it came out so amazing .. I love the fact it so free and my baby hair won’t be pulling off ❤️
I wish one of the numerous videos would show exactly where (which hole?)their double crotche is going through. I'm unable to see it & am a beginner with this. Otherwise good tutorial. Im making some for the homeless and some will be gifts.
Jonas hands ytube a brilliant young boy goes step by step also, bag o crochet with Crystal or Melanie ham all very simple and quick beenies im also making for the women and children shelter for the holidays, I’ve made 5 in no time flat, I’m a beginner too, best of luck
@@tammi67able Gmorning Tammi am here trying the beanie I would like some pointers 🤗
Thank you
This was a really great tutorial except I’m not sure how many stitches should be left on the decreasing rounds, it’s a little bit confusing. Otherwise though great job!
14 rounds from start ?
Even though I like your tutorial it's a bit confusing because the beanie that you just made looks so much smaller than the one in the model, like something was missing.
So cute
thank you so much
Saved to my favorites! Got to 10:45!

I wish that you wouldn’t of talked about a child’s hat and adults hat all the time and I also wish that you would’ve shown us what to do more as beginners. Thank you
This is excellent feedback, thank you for your time!! I am always willing to learn and do better. I take feedback very seriously and will make note of this going forward. God bless
I find the beginning round confusing.
Just a word of warning for anyone following this tutorial...
This comes out waaaaaay too big and does not grab onto the head at all, just sits there and you'd have to clip it on for it to stay in your hair and I followed the CHILD instructions with the intention of it being an adult size medium..turned out like an adult XXXL.
I will say the tutorial is nice for beginners learning how to do basic stitching.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Just wondering if you used the recommended yarn and hook size? It should not have been a drastic size difference like that. I have made this particular hat countless times & have received multiple positive reviews on Etsy for this pattern.
It’s worth double checking the yarn and hook size; this will impact the result big time
@@DIYFromHomeCrochet Sorry I'm so late to this lol but yes I did! I actually tried following it twice and cut the number of rounds in half the second time and it was still just way too big for my preference. It was just a heads up (no pun intended lol) in case anyone is looking for a tighter, slouchy but not excessive, fit. Regardless, your pattern helped me create the perfect slouchie beanie for me and I thank you for that. :)
