Oh no, I was think JFK then you said get inside of the head of a historical figure and I laughed a tiny bit because I thought "that's what Lee Harvey wanted to do too, but he went too far "
I did not know Creed had a fragrance called Vetiver - i knew of their "Original Vetiver", which is supposed to be a ripoff of Thierry Mugler's Mugler Cologne - that all came out in the 2000's. Really leaves me wondering what the actual original smells like. Also, didn't JFK also use Eight & Bob as a fragrance? That's a big part of their marketing.
Glad you took it well. I wasn’t being mean. But my beard is so soft one pass with just water no soap will do it LOL I just bought a reconditioned 1912 Gillette and I’ll start using soap probably.
@@ivermec-tin666 Well I must say it also depends on a few variables and the person who's shaving. In my case with a known blade it's usually 3 passes to achieve BBS, any more and the razor lacks, any less and it'll be my favorite razor. I believe that in the video he was using a new blade.
Well Gillette wasn't in the razor selling business they wanted to sell blades which had a higher profit margin so that's why they wanted people to buy one razor and use it forever but also keep on buying the Gillette blades forever.

Your welcome 🙏🏻 Sinatra Lennon 😃
Gillette was never about selling the handles, it was allways about selling blades!
Oh no, I was think JFK then you said get inside of the head of a historical figure and I laughed a tiny bit because I thought "that's what Lee Harvey wanted to do too, but he went too far "
This was not a good thing to think of
Ouch! Funny, but tragic. Humor ain’t always pretty!
Robert > Jack > Ted
$1 million ad budget in 1921 would be $14.2 million now.
Three and a half passes? You’re insane!
I know, right?!
Glad you took it well. I wasn’t being mean. But my beard is so soft one pass with just water no soap will do it LOL I just bought a reconditioned 1912 Gillette and I’ll start using soap probably.
I'm afraid to say that if you went for a 3 1/2 or 4th pass, the razor didn't do a great job. Maybe the blade, but with a feather I doubt it.
IDK. Was the blade brand new?
@@ivermec-tin666 Well I must say it also depends on a few variables and the person who's shaving. In my case with a known blade it's usually 3 passes to achieve BBS, any more and the razor lacks, any less and it'll be my favorite razor.
I believe that in the video he was using a new blade.
1:19 It's not his? 😂
i’m a pretty big history guy the only subject I ever liked in school
Funny that cologne on Amazon is $22.25
duude! i just bought a Deluxe edition on ebay for $100!!!
Ahhhhhh Joe Kennedy....razors for the boys lobotomies for the girls.
Sorry first thing that came to mind.
Great story and lesson.
I’m 16, still haven’t shaved at all. All I have is peach fuzz.
Give it time…
Will do. Also, love this video. JFK is my hero and anything that I can buy when I’m an adult to be like him I will gladly purchase 😂
Florida water is great stuff
It really is! I have seen it forever, but never used it. Lucky me.
SinatraLennon yeah it’s good stuff , I got into fragrances first then shaving I have 900 bottles of cologne and aftershaves
Matt’s Classic Fragrances Check out my video about Frank Sinatra’s favorite cologne/aftershave. You might like it!
Well Gillette wasn't in the razor selling business they wanted to sell blades which had a higher profit margin so that's why they wanted people to buy one razor and use it forever but also keep on buying the Gillette blades forever.
If I am nothing, I'm a bit of a fool.
Amen.
Is it really unprecedented @26:30 or rather......... unpresidented?.......... Okay, I‘ll see myself out.
Dad jokes! The best.
