A note for Windows 10 Users, instead of shift+right click to open CMD window, instead you just type 'cmd' into the address bar of the folders window and the CMD window opens right away.

I selected the broken file and the reference working file, clicked on scan, but when the repair was done, the fixed video didn't appear in the box nor the repaired folder. In that folder there is only "logfile" and "report". Why do you think that happens?

Bro you are in power shell..pls use cmd to get in to command prompt, then ensure you are right folder or use cd command to go to correct directory...then excecute the command.

Friend - Pls execute this step from the directory where you have bad.mp4, you can use..... cd "full directory path" to get into a directory in command prompt.
copy /b bad.mp4.mp4 + bad.mp4.mp4 bad_double.mp4 try using this one, or if ur file has another name, just type copy /b then click "tab" button, hope this will help
i had a two-hour video that got corrupted because of low space (I'm assuming) I got the notification while recording and deleted some apps to make space as soon as I saw it. the conversion keeps stopping and it wont let me click on open repair report. any ideas?

Have you tried this method .... if you did what was your results or issues because I have a 3 hour long video which I recorded on low space also ...
Now I tried this method and everything incarnating my two corrupted files together and using the program to fix it but it didn't recover 100% of my video like it said it would after carnating the files together so I went and carnated my corrupted file 4 times with each other and at the end I recovered only 40 minutes of my corrupted file.Then I went to try something else and carnated my corrupted video file 10 times with each each other so I recovered 1 hour and 40 minutes of my video which is 50 % of my corrupted video finally so now I'm working on recovering the other 50 % of my video this time I wanna see what will happen if I carnated my bad video file 20 times with each other since I got 50% of my video just by doing it 10 times
Now I'm not sure how long should my reference video be he doesn't specify and he ain't replying on my comments .but at the beginning after I watched the video for the first time I tried the program without carnating anything to see if it would really recover 50% of my bad video and it didn't it only gave me an 8 minutes long video which is not close to 50% of my corrupted video file

Didn't work. When I pressed shift and left mouse button, It said that :the positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument '+'.
You have windows 10. Open command prompt (run cmd OR just type cmd in your start search).
Then cd to the directory where u have files, then use this copy command.

Have an Android device that sometimes when you stop the recorded video it gets corrupted because is not properly close. This is amazing hacking trick but seems new version of the software solved it because I got 2 video repaired (the same video with 50 x cent each). The only fast and good, header mp4 repair was untrunc , comes also with a GUI mode and under Windows as well, untrunc uses the help of ffmpeg to repair your mp4's so it's safe. You need choose a sample good condition video recorded from same device (like software you mention) only you need take care choosing an horizontal good sample if broken mp4 it's horizontal and same for vertical recorded. Other way, congrats on your hacking discovery!

Did not fix my video, and I tried to "fix" a perfectly working video to see if my camera was supported in this application, and it came back with a viewable MP4, but the video playback was 2x the speed of audio. it botched up a working file and can't fix a broken one, completely worthless.

Check process with sample different good working video, if you are NOT getting audio for that also, may be some thing wrong with the steps that you follow.

I recored a 50 minute video and the videos I repair is only 8 minutes long what I discovered was wen writing the code in " command window here"
Instead of adding two bad.mp4 add more than 2 bad.mp4 like 3 or 4 maybe depending on how long is the repaired video they give you thise will actually increase the duration of your repaired video
For me I had to add bad.mp4 file 10 times just to get my full 50minute video at the end because with every bad_double I fixed it was only 8 minutes long
Friend - pls double the video. and play it and double check it is actually doubled fully and back to back.
then try rest of the steps.

2) Execute this same commad - copy /b bad.mp4 + bad.mp4 bad_double.mp4

Bro...May be you are in poweshell instead of command prompt. just type cmd and enter before typing copy command.

And then type cmd and hit enter.
2. Ensure you are in the folder where you have all files, else cd "to the path".
3. Continue with remaining steps in the video.

A positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument '+
'.
It can happen if you run this command from PowerShell window. Just run it from regular 'cmd' and don't forget the /b parameter.

Pls help not working. Like all the scan happened. But didn't work
Friend - Check with some working files [take 2 videos from your mobile and name one as good (sample) and one as bad(corrupt). follow the method and see if you get output. just to ensure you have followed the steps right. If you get the output.
Then follow the same steps in actual bad file.. if you do not get any output then damage is beyond recovery or sample file is not right.

I have not tried, but pls try it does not cost you any.
I have personally used Stellar Repair for Video to repair corrupt videos and it works remarkably well. Maybe you should try it as it helps in fixing video errors and corrupt videos due to various issues. So, I find it a great option.
