      That code seems to point to a bad ignition coil on the #3 cylinder

    I just did this today on my Jeep. The absolute hardest part was pulling off the darn resonator box, which looked so easy for you but for me, was stuck on tighter than a nun. I spent a couple hours wrestling with that piece of plastic.

      WAAF is off the air. They were bought out by a Christian station last year. I sat in my truck at midnight and listened to them sign off it sucked. Mistress Carrie played Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath for the last song ever played on Waaf...sad

    For anybody else watching, iridium spark plugs are pregapped. It's a good idea to check the gap as was said in the video, but don't try to gap them or you will break the tip.

      Boy, That is a tough one, I am not sure if you could get an easy out to back the rest of it out of there. You also should make sure the piston is at the bottom of the stroke so that is doesn't get damaged. You may want to have a reputable garage tackle this one for you.

    Do the spark plugs have a torque spec?

    • @HomeOwnerRepair
      @HomeOwnerRepair  4 місяці тому

      It looks like the factory calls for 26-30 ft lbs on the torque. You may want to look this up specifically for your year make and model. I have always just snugged them up by hand as shown in the video and never had an issue.
