    7:40 If, later, I choose to expand the number of categories while using this sheet, will I need to repeat the two steps to include the new range names for the incomeList and the expenseList.

      That's an excellent question. To add more categories, insert rows somewhere in the middle. For example, select rows 7 and 8, right-click, insert rows. Then copy the formulas in columns C and F to the empty cells, and that's it. No need to update the range names if you do it this way. 😊👍

    hello thanks for this video tutorial but one more thing how can i change my currency in formula? in your video you added a ($) dollar sign in formula,how can i add mine in peso?

      I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial. So the dollar signs used in the formula are not for currency. The dollar signs are actually added to change the reference type used in the formula. You can read more about it here. spreadsheetlife.com/understanding-cell-references/

    HELP: at the end when you said click the include data what if you didnt click it on time? how do I add the included data?

    • @spreadsheetlife
      @spreadsheetlife  Місяць тому

      If you missed that step, here is what you can do. Leave the data hidden.
      Click on the chart, click on the three dots in the top right of the chart, then click edit chart.
      In the panel on the right, under setup, check the box next to include hidden / filtered data.
      I hope this helps.

      Interesting! I think I can help. This would be easier to discuss in more detail over email though. You can send me an email at info@spreadsheetlife.com. We will talk more there. 😊👍
