Love this! It was so easy to follow and you did a fantastic job keeping things calm and easy haha! Thank you! I’m going to be making a trope tracker so this will help greatly
Wow! You are amazing! I’ve never could grasp spreadsheets. Your tutorial is simple, straightforward, and easy for me to follow. I am now not overwhelmed by wanting to create this. I’m going to rewatch your video and make this. Thank you so much. I just subscribed!❤
This is fantastic and so helpful. I want to move my reading spreadsheet from Excel to Google Sheets and there are some things that don't transfer well. I also want to add my series tracking to it, so this is exactly what I need. You've given me the confidence to tackle this and make it exactly what I want and need. I've never made my spreadsheet aesthetic, but I'm definitely going to do that now. I love sage green, so that's where I'm going to start. Thank you!
Beautiful spreadsheet, very clean and visual. I only will do one automatization in the Up to date, you can check it automatically with the Conditional formatting menu. To copy the formula to another cell, you just drag that cell from the circle.
I bought a tracker for 2024 and I wanted to learn how to make my own to not do that this year and customize it to be specifically and this helps so much. Thank you
This video was super helpful! Thanks for making it. Took your design and changed a few things to fit my needs a little better. You explained things super well. The only issue I ran into along the way was getting the progress bar to work. It kept giving me an error when I copied your formula. I was able to figure it out myself eventually though.
I'm so glad you found it helpful! I decided to make a tutorial instead of a template for the exact reason that people could make adjustments to fit exactly what they wanted 😊 I'll double check the progress bar formula in my google doc to make sure it's correct, thanks for pointing out you had an issue!
2 Little Tips: 1. If you hold down on the circle that appears on the box your currently on you can drag it down and it will apply the formula of the original box 2.When merging if you click the arrow on the right of it you can merge horizontally and that you don’t have to do it over and over for the rows,
Thanks for the tips! I have discovered the first one since making this video and I did know the second but my brain blanked on it while I was trying to remember to film everything else haha
tysm!! really appreciate it, my palette was pink, brown, lavender, and powder blue. super helpful tutorial, I just added a few columns that I needed in addition to yours. I also had issues with the progress bar formula. The fix was watching another tutorial specifically for sparkline function and writing out the formula manually. Also, you can use hex codes in the sparkline formula to make the progress bar color match your base colors exactly! like so: =SPARKLINE(L3,{“charttype”,”bar”;”max”,100;”color1”,”e1c2e0”})
That sounds like such a fun colour palette! Thanks for mentioning the issue with the progress bar formula, I'll have a look at my google doc to double check it is what I have in my spreadsheet 😊 I figure out all my spreadsheet stuff by happenstance so it's cool to know you can use hex codes in the sparkline formula!
This is going to send me into a spiral of updating my reading spreadsheet. Absolutely fantastic video!!
Thank you! 🥰
