That was bloody brilliant! I want to try something similar using the stump of a tree that came down in my backyard, but maybe I'll start off with something simpler, like a bird bath lol (dw I am trained in felling, I just have never carved before).

Nice Job. Don't you hate that part of starting to paint a carving. I always battle over natural vs painted. Many times i m compromise and only paint highlights and features like the eyes. Kind of the best of both worlds.

I’m trying to get a UA-cam going broadcasted from my carving pit shenanigans in Oregon . Currently finishing up a 9’ Bigfoot and a 6’ bear licking an ice cream cone . Both are southbound to Red River New Mexico to guard a candy store and a ice cream parlor . Im open to suggestions or prevenenetive measures I can take before I coat them and send them on their journey . I haven’t ever sent a log to New Mexico lol
