Hi Mac, thanks for being a subscriber!!
Shoot, wouldn't let me comment before. Not sure why. Love your work. Wasn't able to make it over to you last week while we were in the UP. Next year we are planning vacation on the East side of the UP, will definitely be stopping.

Now that is how to carve a bear,,,,,Dam i can even mow my lawn straight, great job
Lol! Thanks Jim!
we had one of those moths in our yard a couple weeks ago. i had never seen one before and didn't really know what it was. Questions. Do you ever mess up a log and have to toss it out? Who holds the camera for you while you carve? Jaime? Bummer i didn't win :( My computer tells me you are up to 230 subscribers... Yeah!!!
Hi Bob and Sandy, I hardly ever mess up a carving, most of the time I can change the look. Sometimes it's not what I was dreaming in my head but that is how I learn and become better. The camera is being held by me or if i am carving I use a tripod. As I am filming I will stop and move the camera to a different spot. I will have hours of footage then bring it home a edit the camera footage down to about 10 min. It will take 3-4 hours to edit one video.
Great Looking Bear hope to graduate to that size soon. Carved my first small one yesterday. I only have one saw Stihl Pro 36 with a 20 inch bar. Gets a little heavy. Debating what smaller size saw to purchase and tip type !!! Cheers from the Catskills NYS.
That's exactly how I started carving, a chainsaw with a 20" bar.😀 Thank you for watching the videos and subscribing!!
Awesome tree
Thanks!
..forget to mention.. thanks for showing and explaining the clearwing hummingbird moth.. it's not commonly understood...
You bet! The only way I new what it was called is because I did a bug collection in the 8th grade. lol!!

Love the bear! Why did you burn the Cardinal before painting red?
It burns off the fuzz and gives the carving smoother look.
