The only thing that is more amazing as to how far technology has come, is that voice of yours. What a brilliantly relaxing video.

Lovely relaxing video so far. You got the same watch as I. I chose Garmin because of its reliability track record and I don't stop using something because something better exists, I use it until it does not serve me function any longer. It's a watch first and smart second, not a phone on your wrist.

Yep, we share that philosophy. I find something that works, and then stick with it. It's one of the reasons I'm still using an iPhone 6S+! LOL

@@GaslampASMR also as an afterthought waking now, I think memory is a powerful thing, and I think our brain forgetting elements at times to reinforce certain aspects is a way of us learning and coping with life.
Some memories haunt us, some we cherish and let warm our day up. Its a defense mechanism I think, if we remembered everything we'd be overloaded. Its why we go through computers: computers remember basically everything and look how fast they can wear out if you over exert amd overload them?
The key thing to remember really, is to remember something at all. Forms who we are, these formative memories.
Its why dementia absolutely terrifies me.
But as long as I remember something im staving off that monstrous condition.

Excellent point, Ki, and I agree with you on the defense mechanism theory. I think that when we go through bad things, the worst aspects of those bad things can (sometimes) soften with time, which is needed for coping and pushing forward. I wish I didn't lose as many good memories as I surely have, but I assume that we can't have one mechanism without the other.
There's a Black Mirror episode that explores the perils of being able to recall every moment of one's life, called "The Entire History of You". Recommended!

I'm glad you liked the Encyclopedia Browse! I hadn't really been thinking of a Part 2 for that one, but maybe I should. Thanks for the suggestion!
