I fell into bad depression after seeing my dad die …I felt numb I couldn’t feel anything like I was numb felt like the room was closing in on me my heart felt it was cutting open …. seeing his lifeless body on the table everyone left the room except me seeing my dad die slowly was too much for me .. I couldn’t see myself the same I stop every thing I lacked motivation I was gaining a lot of weight jumping form 233 to265 shy of 300 I didn’t care no more asking “why” going crazy hitting my self beating my self up fighting my own self…looking at my self in the mirror saying “I’m not gonna be shit your to fucking fat to even go back to playing soccer” I didn’t open up to no one…not even my mom …I didn’t know what to do having to regret fighting with him leaving late night while my dad is up waiting on me to come back home safe the thought process “what could I’ve done better” I was lost completely falling towards the abyss…on jan3 me watching David goggins hearing what he been through sparked a big ball of flame in me saying to my self “fuck this shit I’m going to fight back” facing my demons straight forward..on that day I after watching David’s videos it was about 2am wrapping my whole body with plastic and putting a running mask on before the start… I was scared facing me the biggest enemy that knows every single thing about me is…me.. screaming at myself talking to my self hitting my self saying”why aren’t you going fuck run go” but I was scared….I began running I couldn’t even go for 5 min straight giving up in matter of seconds but I kept going…falling to the ground bleeding but I got back up feeling that fire in you screaming “ let’s fucking go don’t fucking stop” felling like the old me was dying slowly and the new me was being reborn it’s been about 1 years and a couple of months I’ve been on my cardio journey lost over 65 pounds 200 flat running every single day morning ,afternoon, night doing the unthinkable challenging myself to be better waking up around 3am in the morning just to go run had to fight real battles not just physically but mentally and emotionally …looking back on my journey motivate me more hearing and reading other people’s stories inspire me to do better and to seek help …. to have that drive in life keep going king you got this !! this is my quote “I will lose 85 pounds fuck everyone that stands in my way I will become gods warrior” ❤️
That is awesome! Much respect for a big accomplishment. I hope that you continued on the fitness journey and started helping out others that are in your old shoes. I know you’re an inspiration to others Who have seen the transformation. Keep up the great work.
@@ChinoV indeed I did. Now I've lost 200 lb and I'm in the best shape of my life by far. A couple weeks ago I hiked 9 mi into the mountains. I can bench press 300 lb and I have been involved in the community, particularly for those dealing with alcoholism.
This is the type of masculinity that young boys need to hear and aspire to. It's all about looking yourself in the mirror and coming clean with yourself and saying, "The only person holding me back is me." And it applies to every area in life... work, sports, religion, family. You control who you want to be as a man. Nobody else will hold your hand and do it for you.
I'm a Patriots fan but...this guy right here. I've always looked up to him. Am about to be 32, one quote that I will always remember and kept me motivated, "Never show pain no matter how bad it hurts, keep pushing, I can see the fire in your eyes, keep that fire burning". Ray Lewis Not sure if it's exactly it but something like that. ❤
I owe Ray Lewis for this one, I feel like alot of people probably do, like it's hard to think you have a shot when there are people who are bigger, stronger, and smarter than you but when you put in the effort, you truly do get results over time
Ray Lewis got me into football many many years ago, and he’s still the motivational inspiration in my life to keep chasing my dreams and goals. The man was an inspiration for generations to come
Being honest he is one of my favorite NFL player he inspire me in a lot of ways how to become unstoppable with an unquenchable Motivation and faith, workethic thank you Ray for motivating me.
Phenomenal player. ( not a Ravens fan ) - but Ray was incredible. Hardest-hitter I have ever seen. His Passion and desire-to-Win, is unmatched. H.O.F. NFL Legend = #52 Ray Lewis.
I'm not a very athletic person but in my middle school years I played a good bit because of effort I was one of the hardest workers on the team I was there every day I had an amazing athlete in front of me at lolb but coach Hutchins was believed in me I'm now against the highschool working my tail off in a battle with a sophomore and a smaller more athletic guy and I think I have a hood chance to start my sophomore year all because of effort and Coach pushing me everyday to be the best player I can be 😊
May you never be a young black man at the age of 21 with a sudden influx of money and bad hang-on friends. Think about that situation for a second. I believe that people can change, do you? Have you ever done anything you wish you could take back or change? Do you ever feel like you could be a better version of yourself? Of course ray was involved, it was a bar brawl in an alley in the early hours where the victims attacked Lewis and his friends with broken bottles. But people make it sound like Ray went around and slit throats. It was a terrible situation and he turned his life around afterwards. I do hope you never find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time, it's made many an innocent man a victim of a failed judicial system.
I've lost 117 lbs in a little under 2 years. Effort is the only thing that did that. Because it was between me and me. Big ups to this man.
Big ups to you too! That’s awesome you made a goal, strived to achieve it and you did it. Happy for you

If I die before Ray, I want him to speak at my funeral. I want people so hype, that someone runs from the back of the church and sticks the pastor.

Remember when he murdered someone?
No
Someone entered his limo, never left.
