Tommie even fell on the box just for us, what a BOSS!
A tip : watch movies at kaldroStream. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Caiden Kenneth Yea, I've been using Kaldrostream for months myself =)
The Teacher i never had, but wished for. Awesome content, helped me a ton. thanks man
Tommie, you're a legend. Thank you so much for your videos, I love how specific you are with different body movements as well as timing, range and power. I find you're videos really helpful for my own teaching. Keep killing it!
I just 5050ed my first rails today I guess now I know what to learn next
I work nights so I can't get on your Tuesday livestream. 😔
Working hard to learn boxes and rails. Boxes are a bit of
a challenge but I'm getting more confident. Struggling to
get the full 90° turn. With rails I am trying to learn to 5050
and stay on the rail. I got wrecked a few times already. No
broken bones yet.....
Your videos are a big help. I don't have anyone to ride with
to help my progression. Learning how to get "locked on" to
the rail is very frustrating. I over commit pretty much every
time because I don't want to get wrecked again. My 55 year
old body don't heal up so fast anymore.
Thanks Tommie and keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤️🏂

Thank you so much Tommie to break this down so much in details!!!
This trick just feels so good!! Dope tutorial man!! You really broke the trick down perfect!!
Love the how to videos. You have such a cool riding style!
Much love from Nepal🇳🇵. Thank you for your videos Tommy.
Your vids bring the stoke, thanks man 👌
Killer tutorial 🤙🏽🍻
Love your videos. Thanks for what you do. I love all the nerdy shit about snowboarding. I’d love to see an in depth videos on base grinds and the different base structures/when they’re good to change or how often you should get a base grind/change your structure like your super in depth wax video.
Tommie Bennett > any other tutorial you-tuber, and johnathan buckhouse
Super helpful I landed my first boardslide today
Great content
Nice! Thanks
Awesome step-by-step tutorial. Keep 'em coming!
Sup Tommie! I am going snowboarding for the first time this Friday.🏂
Dude I keep watching the videos haha I’ll let you know when I get until then more views for you
Nice tutorial Tommie... when is the front board coming out ;)😊
Hello Tommy. Just wondering what flex you ride on your board? Thanks for answering. Love the videos.
I landed my first boardslide this weekend my dood! even on a round feature after couple tries :D except I catched an edge shifting too early bahaha but yeah, beat the fear! I'm up for metal beams now... yikes hahah
You just have to send it and lean forward as much as possible
Back in my day that used to be called the union creek chairlift!
Hey Tommy love the video as always. As a goofy rider dont forget us. It helps so much to see it from both stances.
Hey Tommie, awesome vid as always! My biggest struggle is the ride in, do you ride in from your heel or toe edge? Or it doesn't matter that much since you'll be popping off the ground? Need help! Anyone!
freemanfanmao
Come in on your toes and transfer to your heels- similar to a front 1
Or front 3/etc
Lead Shoulder position is really important too while you’re coming in on your toes..
Good luck!
Hey coach could you please do a in-depth video on DTuning
Do you think heel to knee measurement is a good place to start for distance between bindings?
Everyone Sub to this man, he has by far the best tips and guides videos on youtube. Absolute legend.
Hey Tommie! Great video and channel content. I need to know if it is possible to get a leading edge hang up on a park feature? I have asked a bunch of content makers, but they don't reply. I have had all the steps down that are in your video for a while and I have front and back boards on lock on a skateboard. But the fear of catching a lead edge and taking one to the teeth or spine is stopping to try bigger features because, obviously, one can run out from a skateboard, but not on a snowboard. I would really appreciate any insight regarding this.
All the best,
Rich in Sweden!
Late reply but yes ive seen it happen on pipes both in person and on video. Not often by any means. Pre sure a lot of serious park guys detune edges to try and prevent it a bit
I have mastered backside board slide on a box.. I’m still trying to get frontside down, but had some bad falls. Please make a frontside tutorial. Help!
Tommie, I notice you’re riding a K2 Afterblack lately. I’m looking to get a new board next season, but I have progressed mostly in carving and I would like to learn a lot of park and terrain this coming season. Do you recommend a board like the K2 Afterblack as an all mountain board that would help learn to ride park? I have been considering a board like the Ride Superpig. Currently riding K2 Turbo Dream.
Yo Tommie. Can you make a vid on recommended progression? I keep attempting different stuff buttering, 180s, board slides etc. Wondering if there is progression you'd recommend after getting comfortable just riding/carving.
Learn some grabs, that's what I've been doing
Do I need a park style board to do these boardslide tricks? My board is the Ride Agenda. I 50/50 a rail the other day got turned a little to my heel side edge an it seemed to catch an edge on the rail, an threw me off.
What run are all these boxes on?
peace park and the mini park
I have trouble spinning on disco boxes. What's wrong with me?
So what about those edges? I can 50-50 pretty comfortably, but always mentally feel I’d catch a front edge if I tried a board sliding.
try to stay flat, just go for it man
I was trying these today and broke my highback. Really sucks all the shops are out of parts and bindings.😢
Also I emailed you my address from the sticker giveaway the other day
Anyone else wear crash shorts for boardslide training?
I stay wearing crash shorts. That tailbone hit will cut your day short and that’s the last thing I want to do. Lift tickets are expensive. Lol
... I’ve just been taking my lumps. I need to look into this
I wear em for everything, I always thought they were silly but you’d be surprised how many people wear em even when they’re pros at hitting features
Keep you warm too!
Yaz!
I made my own cuz the stock pads are too hard
I am almost ready to try boardslide 😅
Same I just got my 180 and I want to master that then I’ll try boardslide
What mountain is this?
Where do u get ur edge beveled? I’ve been riding at copper and don’t know which shop will let me get just a bevel and not a whole wax and grind and stuff
If both directions only go 45* that isnt 90* lol
Am I the first one? Can I get a heart pls🙏
Yessir!!
Awww😄
Your a great teacher but if u made your edits visual while explaining it would help teach much better, instead of looking at your face talking for so much.
