This is the first time I’ve watched you and I’ve thought of doing canes before but was put off by the amount of effort it takes. You’ve made it less labour intensive and I’m going to give it a try. Thanks 🙏

I made this in black and white and loved it. Then I made this in purple and teal with a white outline and it turned out so pretty, thank you so much for sharing
You are most welcome, lady!! ….and you must have read part of my mind….my part two was on color. If you have a picture….would love to see your cane. Sending hugs! 🤗❤️👍🏻
How Exciting! I have just ordered material to make fun stuff for my mom and aunts. I’m so happy to have discovered you, the algorithms did me good! Thank you for sharing your talent with us ❤

Thank you, lady!! This was another one of those canes that surprised me...I am thrilled you enjoyed it and will take a moment to create it too!! Hugs your way!! :)
Oh my word!! Thank you for that!! I sometimes wonder if I am making a difference for others when I create these videos, and letting me know this helps me soooo much!! Plus it keeps me going to create more videos to help others in polymer clay!! Bless you!! And as always...sending you my biggest of hugs! :)
Thank you for your kind compliment, Elaine!! Wow!! I do hope your attempt and this cane was very successful!! And as always...if you have any questions, please feel free to ask, lady!! Sending you my bigggggggg hugs! :)
Thank you so much Edwin!! Bless you!! That truly is one of my intentions here. To break down how in its most simple way to create the cane so that others can create it without the heartbreak. Sending hugs! :)
Awwwww!! You are most welcome, Nana!! I hope my videos will continue to inspire you and get you excited to create and have a fun time in the clay!! Sending you my huge hugs!! :)
I am so glad you enjoyed my video!! And I hope you will try out this cane and create some really fun pieces in using this cane!! Sending you my hugs! :)
You are most welcome, Claudia lady!! This was a have to do thing for me and I am working on others. I hope you will not only enjoy this, but my other videos in the clay!! Otherwise...sending you my biggest of hugs! :)
Well, welcome to polymer clay!! And thank you so much for your kind response, lady!! Bless you!! I hope you will continue to check in on me when it comes to my videos in polymer clay!! I have Sooooooo much yet to share and I am really only just beginning!! But if you have any questions, or if you get an idea and would like to see me look into a subject with polymer clay!! Please, let me know!! Otherwise, and as always...sending you my biggest of hugs! :)
Aww, bless you Jaime!! What a wonderful compliment! Thank you!! What you see is not just time and patience...but practice. Lots and lots of practice....plus...a lot of love for what I do!! Sending you my big hugs! :)
You're very welcome! I am thrilled you enjoyed it so much! Definitely check in with me. I am looking forward to some new and fun videos coming up! Sending my hugs! 😊👍🏻❤️
Thank you so much!! I hope you will continue to enjoy the videos I create here and if you haven't checked out my other videos, I hope you will and enjoy them just as much!! Sending my hugs! :)
Thank you, Lynne!! This is just one of those patterns that was a "had to" to create!! I hope the video inspired you and you have created some of this cane yourself in polymer clay!! Sending you my hugs! :)
Hey Miss Elle!!! Thank you for your wonderful compliment!! You are most welcome, and if you are looking for another video similar to this, check out my "Demi Cane" I released just last week. You might find that one fun to do too!! Big hugs, lady!! :)
Thrilled you enjoyed this cane so much!! I have a few more videos in this similar fashion and you might like them too!! I hope you will continue to enjoy the videos I create here. Sending hugs! :)
I love this instructions video and I can’t wait to try it. I will probably use Primo. Have you had success using this clay? I just want to add, your voice sounds very much like Jamie Lee Curtis, even her laugh. 😂. I hope you find that a complement. Thank you for your creativity!
LOLOLOL!! Oh, I certainly find that to be a compliment!! Never thought I sounded like her!! LOLOL!! And Thank you so much for your kind compliment overall!! I hope you will continue to enjoy my videos I am creating...As to the Premo, yes. You can successfully use that clay. I would just be very conscious of how soft the clay is and the placement of the original cane as you put it together. That is always the key to cane making. The placement of pieces of cane when you put it together. Sending you my big hugs!! ;)
Wonderful video, can't wait to try this. I am very new to using polymer clay, can you give me an idea of about how much clay I need to do a cane like this? Thank you in advance for any help.
Thank you so much for your compliment and comment here!! Bless you!! And welcome to polymer clay and hopefully many adventures down the road for you here in this wonderful medium!! As to the clay, One or 2 two ounce bricks of each color/non-color of polymer clay should suffice. I am being fairly liberal in my amounts. I usually find a brick of 2 oz. clay goes a long way in any cane I create. Also, I hope you will check out my other Zentangle Clay Canes in my playlists here on my channel. I think you will find them just as fun as this one. My favorite is the Demi cane. Mainly because I can get so many patterns out of it and I love the look of it too. Sending you my biggest hugs your way!! :)
This looks fantastic! I definitely want to give it a go, but I think I’ll wait to get some Kato clay before I do. It tends to give cleaner lines, which I think is important for this one. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Frank!! And yeah, I would definitely reccommend Kato here. It is the clay I used to do the video on. And you are most welcome!! Hope you will continue to enjoy my videos moving forward! Hugs! :)
Vos videos sont claires ❤ ça me donnes envie de créer à nouveau des bijoux 😉🙂 j'aime aussi votre bonne humeur 🙂 que mettez vous sur vos mains pour ne pas avoir du noir sur le blanc ?
Wow, what a huge compliment!… And I hope you go back to creating again in the jewelry whatever you do using Polymer Clay!… And if you ever need a cheerleader, I am here for you!🤣😂🤣 … I believe there needs to be more joy in this world… And I’m just trying to do a little bit of that for you and hopefully others as well. Otherwise, when it comes to my hands, I keep a constant supply of baby wipes, close by so that I can wipe my hands off when they get too far gone. And that is how I keep my black and my white pretty clean. Plus, I also like to use clay in caning and especially with these black-and-white Zen tangles that I create in clay. I hope that helps in answering your question. Otherwise I am sending you my biggest of hugs always!🤗👍🏻❤️
Thank you so much for your friendly respond and I hope to see more and more videos from you ❤ hugs from Brussels Belgium, and continue your happiness in your vidéo 🙂
Nope!!! It wasn't too bad...It was a little challenging, but once I figured it out...LOTS OF FUN!! Stay tuned...I will be doing more FUN STUFF!! Sending hugs your way!! :)
Hey Jacqueline!! Welcome and I am thrilled you subscribed to my channel!! I have LOTS of what I want to share here on polymer clay so stay tuned...it's gonna get FUN!! Sending you my big hug!! :)
Thank you so much!! Bless you!! When it comes to the clay, I think part of this is how I treat it. I condition up my clay pretty well, no matter what color or non color I use. In this case with white, I use Kato clay to create most of my canework and that can make a difference in reduction and, in my mind, because it is not a super soft clay, tends to not pick up as much dirt. I will condition the white clay and if I get dirt in it or accidentally get a small amount of another color even in the white, I mix it up until it is no longer relevant. That may also be where I mix more white clay into what I already have conditioned. The more of a dominant color you have the more unlikely it will become another color. I do hope this helps. Sending you my hugs! :)

Gorgeous! How on earth do you keep the white so white throughout the process?
Thank you so much!! Bless you!! When it comes to the clay, I think part of this is how I treat it. I condition up my clay pretty well, no matter what color or non color I use. In this case with white, I use Kato clay to create most of my canework and that can make a difference in reduction and, in my mind, because it is not a super soft clay, tends to not pick up as much dirt. I will condition the white clay and if I get dirt in it or accidentally get a small amount of another color even in the white, I mix it up until it is no longer relevant.
