ANOTHER COLD ONE, WENT OUT TO THE LOCAL HILLS TO TRY OUT MY NEW QEZER DOWN BAG, PROBABLY GOT DOWN TO ABOUT -6 OVERNIGHT WITH STRONG WINDS, I SLEPT WELL. A SLIGHT CHILL ON MY LEGS BUT I ONLY HAD 1 LAYER ON MY LEGS, EVERYWHERE ELSE WAS NICE AND WARM.. I’ve been in touch with qezer. The bag in this video retails at £137 on Amazon. Use the discount code to get it down. So I think the £180 bag would more than cope with colder temperatures. As mine was the cheapest one. (Rude)
Bag looked okay. At first I thought it was a cows udder. Send teet. Put your water bottles upside down in your boots - won't freeze. Send wind gallop multipack.
Not the prettiest attachments 😂 worked well though. Nice wraparounds. I’m going to add salt to my water. It’s much better 😂 my boots froze on this camp. It was horrifically cold. The wind gallop is in the post. Along with nut feast. Atb 👍

Looked like a good spot in spite of the wind bro. A cold strong wind here this morning that smelt of penguin poo so must be coming from the south pole. Nice day but cold wind and it's summer, go figure. Enjoyed this video. Safe travels. Ken.
I wish it was summer here. It’s a long winter. Drawn out. Still 2 months really to go. Just wish the wind would drop. It seems constant. Atb mate 👍

I hate it when any zip gets snagged, so that zip is a defo bonus and it looked warms as well, another massive bonus, as it looked baltic. Must be the worlds worst ever tea (Scotch pie and KitKat apart) but night skies looked amazing and I bet that was dam cold outside the tent mind. For the money you cannot go wrong with that bag and a fair appreciation from you I thought, cheers Alan
Yeah that anti snag was canny like. Warm enough but I needed clothes on. Possibly a better 3 season bag. But it definitely worked well. Roomy too. I could move about comfortably. My tea was very nice thanks 😂😂 hoy in a pot noodle. Job done. Lovely skies. Flipping moon killed it though. Atb mate 👍
Andy glad you seemed to like the bag but anybody thinking about getting one beware! I ordered one in rectangular format but mummy version with a higher comfort rating arrived. When contacted - Qezer outdoor - they apologised, offered a $10 discount, told me there’s no profit for them if they replaced it for the one I ordered as it was”too expensive” and hoped I’d understand adding the factory no longer makes the rectangular version!
I never knew that. I do like it. Probably won’t work with them again
The links were not great. First time wrong bag altogether. They need to up their game. Decent gear if you can actually get it.
Apparently the bags are almost out of stock on Amazon. They’ll be back at the end of February. 🙄 I reckon they’ll be perfect for then into spring even summer. Also confusion on the site as to which bag it is. I’ve emailed qezer to clarify and I’ll post when I find out. I think the one I use here is £179. But there’s discount to go on. They told me all this after I uploaded like.

Put salt in your bottle, the salt will keep the water in the bottle from freezing. You can also put something boyant like a piece of wood in the bottle to stop it freezing
I’m definitely going to drink saltwater with lumps of wood in it. 😂😂😂

Mr Wardle where was your hat? You do know most of your heat is lost from your Nappa! The history lesson was fantastic, The Romans built the hill forts for the Vikings😂😅😊. You are brave to camp in these sub zero temperatures but must have been very cold as no cans of real ale this time! Would a ➖ 25 bag have kept you warm or can you not trust these ratings, I see loads of tent reviews but not many bag reviews, both can be life savers in bleak conditions. Cheers Mark.
Dont trust the ratings not even on the high end brand bags. Take off at least 5 degrees.

Cheers mate. Yeah the bag is unusual but worked well. You get used to the scarf idea pretty quick. I like to use my nephews music. He’s really shy about self promotion so I do it for him 😂 👍

Yeah the tent really helped me. 3 season would’ve been brass. Hopefully these storms will vanish soon. They’re running out of names 😂 in my day it was just a “windy”night 👍

Cheers Ant 🐜 the pie was the highlight 😂😂 went well with the kitkat. I knew it was time to wrap up when I saw the frost 😂. Unsure on the bag. -9 too cold I reckon. -6/7 it was on the limit of warm here. It was cosy though. That turkey neck thing was great. Never seen that before. Further testing will continue. It’s not available till the end of February. They’ve sold out on Amazon. 🤷♂️ 😢😢. Atb mate. 👍

Pro tip, you put the feet end of your down sleeping bag into your back pack or waterproof backpack cover so the condensation from the tent inner doesnt touch the down sleeping bag.
Could work. Not in that tent though it’s not really long enough. It’s ok. I threw the bag in the dryer when I got home. Dry in 10 mins. On low heat mind you. 👌

Yeah the one I used is listed at £179. But I think it’s down to £139. They tell me they’re almost sold out. February before they’re back. I was meant to hold this video but I like to post. 😂
