mcmtv2 WHAT'S IT FOR!?
Bought my shirt last week.
EA-ED Falcon upper thermostat housing is what you're after, it'll bolt right on.
you've probably sorted something by now, but just letting you know anyway
Woody, you got an Instagram and some pics of your bonsai?
Spend the money on some masks for when you're grinding / doing anything that makes aluminium dust, breathing in all those aluminium oxides has been proven to increase the risk of cardiovascular disease and dementia of the Alzheimer's type. fuck having Alzheimer's.
Does woody edit these? He does a great job. Actually liking skid factory more then mcm these days
totally agree , and i was surprised woody does the editing, i though mog did
I think it started that way. I'd be OK with SF starting a new standalone channel.
Woody has done all the editing since day one.
Alan Butler May the Boost be with you, always 💙 hugs from Italy!
Hey! No slagging the mother ship!
Watching al progress as he gets more comfortable taking to the camera and explaining what is going on is great. I love the videos and content both of you provide. Thank you for allowing all of us who enjoy you to have a sneak peak into you’re lives and wonderful craftsmanship!
One tip with TIG welding is to fill up your whole shop with argon. You're welcome.
The Wakz lol
And no touchy touchy tips
Haha love this comment. Guess another tip if they weld allot of aluminum is to just add a touch of hielium to the mix also.
Wouldn't that be considered as TAG???
The only difference between MIG and MAG is Argon
That's one way to purge the system of air
Gotta give us some footage of dirt bike riding!
scanspeak00 check out the JoeJoe Moto channel..

😂 😂 "Since I bought millsie's wife a blow off valve" is the best euphemism I've ever heard!
Yeah, since then she's opened up the "cheque book"! 🤣
Hello Al and Woody.
Every time i watch your channel you give me a smile on my face because of the dry humor between the two of you.
Keep it going it makes my days a little bit better .
I am permanet handicapt and laying on my bed for most of the day, so thanks for that.
Keep up the very good and comic job you are doing.
Greetings from a stormy Netherlands,
Yes!!! Al got the electrode stuck to the piping tacking the last 90 on! Finally, he’s proved he’s human.
Mad work guys, love the skid factory. Such rad builds, but of such well built quality.
Great episode guys! Nice to see things getting fabricated. As an ex-aircraft techo who is now in training, I really like seeing Al passing on his skills and experience to Woody. Doing things properly, planning ahead, not taking short cuts - these things are hard to train in a classroom environment, it's only really years of focused mentoring on the tools that produces a really good tradie. Keep up the good work gents!
This might be messed up to say, but I think I like Skid factory more than MCM I still love MCM, But Turbo Yoda is cool AF
mcm would be ok but moog is a bit of a dick
Flynn, No I dont like his personality, it has nothing to do with his abilities.
so in what way does that make him a dick just becasue you dont like him. Hes never done anything wrong to make him look like a dick.
Moog is freakin awesome, i honestly don't get what you don't like about his personality lol. The MCM guys, skid factory and other partners in crime are all true legends!
His Name is Backyardbasher He's bashing somebody... its kind of what he does...
Love sitting back watching another episode of skid factory........TWO-STROKES forever!!!!!
This is awesome. Even Woody can weld, regardless of the Kahoona says! That exhaust is a work of art. I love watching a master craftsman at work so I can appreciate just how labour intensive making "widgets" is. No wonder I'm always in the shed!
Great as always guys. Really like the style of these. Especially Al walking us through his thoughts etc.
Quality of the show keeps getting better and better! This is easily as good as any other auto-related show you can name. Al & Woody have really gotten more comfortable in front of the camera and their personalities are great together. Feel fortunate to get these long sneak peeks into the fabrication and mechanical skills of these guys!
Keen for feature on Woody's bonsai trees.
MrBennyweb should
He just made one out of a forged piston from an exploded EJ25, looks cool.
No shortage of them around either 😉👌
About to go to bed .... See notification for new Skid Factory Episode.... Sleep can wait!
Kingdom Auto Consulting I was just about to start studying
i was just about to go to the poly waffle
Just good honest talk through advice. No attitude or put downs. True oz.
That portion of Al welding was mesmerising! I love these series just as much as the MCM channel.
Like the mcm style power tool use plug to get some free batteries! :)
They need to name a charity that will get a donation if it happens.
Show's really coming together nicely. Chemistry between these two is great.
Really cool to see Woody in front of the camera in this episode!! Al's got some camera skills!!
You guys are awesome! Was good to see Woody doing a fair bit of fabricobbling on this episode :D
Solid episode boys. Really appreciate the time you put into producing the content. Keep em coming
Use the EA/ED thermo housing for the top pipe. It’ll clear the bulk head perfect for you 👌
Exactly what I was thinking! EA-ED upper thermostat housing as well as the matching "S" shape upper radiator hose, should fit pretty easily.
I love this side channel. Coming into its own!
Skid Factory is the best hands down, great builds and off the shelf components as in whats laying around used and abused turned into working artwork again. Great banter and LOVE the bro!! being used during your video takes. As a kiwi its awesome to hear some kiwi slang added in hear and there by woody and Al lacing it up with the Aussie twist.. Keep up the great Vids. Sunshine coast is the place to be!! my local as well...hopefully see u guys down at the local and top up ya lemon and cokes one of these days too :)
Love this channel guys! Taking so many handy and logical tricks from watching this series. Legend Al!
EA-ED thermostat housing is what you're after, it'll bolt right on.
you've probably sorted something by now, but just letting you know anyway
So enjoyable to watch, no more to say.Bonus that Al is a dirt bike rider. Two strokes rule!
Love the fabrication work and the welding. . Thanks for watching, NO !!! Thank you for the great workmanship and footage . Hopefully I’ll start getting my four cars built too . Cheers 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Weird part is, I am in Canada so this came out tomorrow.
that is so wierd ey
You are living in the future
People say Barra motors are great. Now we can add "warping time" to the list of achievements?
Puds Garage no... In the past.. as we've seen it before he did.
Gary Stinten that’s unpossible
Love these, it's one of the few channels I follow that when a new video is posted I drop whatever I'm doing and go watch it. Got to go to work? F work, Skid Factory just uploaded!
Love the build guys. Will be a sick van when she's done.
I love you two, such a dynamic duo. skid factory is byfar the best car building content on the planet. keep the gooshi comin.
Simple cool show, constantly building, my kind of show.
Never have I clicked on a video faster. Your videos rock!
Thanks for uploading regular content woody, I’ve been really enjoying it.
Laid down in bed. Almost 3 am. Saw the facebook post. Got up and dressed to watch this out in my "shop" lol. Thanks guys.
*in angelic voice* tuuuurbooo yooooodaaaaaaaa *harps play in backround*
*Moogs high pitched voice echoes over* TuuUUuuuUUuurboo YooooooOOOOdaaaAAa!
You two have added some good banter to the show since the inception of TSF
I enjoyed seeing more of Woody.
I'm really enjoying this build. Probably because I've always loved our Aussie Bedfords. I got slyed out of a Bedford that had been converted to a camper with solar panels and hot water and a shower etc. Lined the sale up and was to meet at 4pm. I got delayed by 15 minutes and phoned the guy to let him know. When we got there the camper was gone. Someone turned up at 5 past 4 and he thought it was us. $3000 and the only problem was the leather seal had perished on the top of the fuel pump. Spewin'.
Awesome viewing. Pleasure watching you piece the impossible together. Another plus for m/s exhaust you didn’t mention is; it’s very light compared with even 1.5mm wall s/s tube. Woody wear a dust mask when cutting aluminium dude, that shit nasty.
Love this show. Thanks Al and Woodros for such great content. Just got my TSF shirt and keychain in the mail yesterday :)
Strange build, but I’m lovin it. I’m enjoying SF more than I am MCM these days. Love the great detail and explanations in your episodes. Keep it up. Cheers from Canada (where we do unfortunately salt our roads in winter).
Loving the 30 minute eps. Good length.
This is an awesome series. Keep up the good work guys!!
Their back !! Love this show
Watching the "thinkin'" that's going into this is awesome...
So jealous of your fab work man, great work as always!
Al making custom dump pipes,....worth watching this episode just there, as well as every thing else of course :)
Can't wait for more.
Quality channel.
Definitely need to see some MX action
Awesome project. And the music is mint as always.
OMG so much work! The way you guys continue to slog forward solving one problem after another is truly inspiring :-)
Love the format of this series. You guys have got it nailed :)
Cheers m8 love the way you explain every thing as you go great job.
Good stuff guys, Really enjoying the skid factory. Love how it is entertaining but also educational, well done Al and woody, I always learn something new every episode, cheers!
Fair play lads. Liking the new camera shots.
Chuck a stubby holder on your metch page that says "Lemon Squash"
Love your work guys and absolutely love watching your show. I would like to see a workshop walk around or abit of tool talk as this is what your hand are in cars and just about everything also brands would be great, I use tengtools because that’s what leaned with and never had major issues and lifetime warranty made it a easy choice
Another great episode guys. Keep up the awesome videos and projects. Can't wait for the next week!
That 2 stroke sound...YES 2 stroke 4 life!
I work on bicycles. The five mm Allen key is the 10mm hex in bikes.
Always the one you need, always the one missing.
Another great episode. Thanks for making such great content.
Good part of the week this show.
Im surprised you would want to run without a thermostat. I would think the wider variations of engine temp would make tuning more of a hassle.
Do R/C! Al said the engine head has a restriction in it
Nah mate old mechanics trick. Instant power and economy mate
Antolio Parker-James Supreme I heard but a arbitrary diameter restriction and a thermostat aren't really going to perform the same. A somewhat restricted flow will still allow the engine to run cooler or warmer than ideal and more importantly allow much greater temp fluctuation than a thermostat will.
The cresta doesn't have one and it operates perfectly normally. This is not the case with many other engines, it depends on location and design of cooling system.
Minimum temp where they live of about 25c so it will be at operating temp pretty much all the time
Really enjoy your work, your format.
Get it guys! You're awesome!
The editing is really good, great video.
A correctly sized cooling system should be able to provide considerably more cooling than the engine requires under normal conditions, if not, it will overheat under extreme conditions, like prolonged acceleration. As such, a thermostat is a requirement or the engine will run cold under all but the most extreme conditions, even in Oz.
.
You should start-up your own UA-cam channel, mate. :|
Some engines over heat without the termostat
Depends what sort of system they run
Sometimes no thermostat the coolant has no way to stop it from circulating though the engine and bypass the rad
Removing it is usulay the last resort to try and hind other over heating issues
Agreed. Gotta keep it pressurized as well.
"looks good to me but i've got welding flash so i can't see", this made me laugh.
love this channel, great work guys!
love these two! thank you for the content!!
lol, couldnt help but have a chuckle... "this is why you edit" :D great ep again fellas
car salesman: slaps roof of bedford CF
"this bad boy can't fit a ford barra in it properly"
Captain Zoll more like..
So can it fit a Barra.. yeah nah yeah yeah but nah..
the old calibrated eye.. it's sweet!
Brilliant, that exhaust was mint.
"This is why you edit" XD XD XD classic!
hurrah its the nuts Bedford time!
you're a legend Al
very cool content my dude!
Your getting good at this Brother, gona share your channel on my facebook page. Keep on sir!
Love it 😊 looking forward to next episode 🚗
I love this series and so awesome to see the editor putting in work! I have always been skeptical about running without a thermostat, I recently had a car that came without one and would never heat up. I have also had the opposite happen where I took one out and the car stated to overheat without it but it would only be on extended driving trips or long hills. Is it just hit or miss when pulling the thermostat?
Lmao . Tig welding little boss is not easy . They tend to melt like a chocolate teapot .
thats why Al got Woody to do it, because Al can do it and does it practically every day but Woody has to learn
c
TurboYoda dirt biking in sandals fucking real OG 😂
great work guys
Love the channel. Great build.
Turbo Yoda plays those pipes like a master!
Nice to see woody on the tools
Love behind the scenes!! Okay can we fast forward into into next week so that i can stop work again??
great show see you next week bro.
Love the 30 minute upload
Why sleep, SKID FACTORY IS ON!!!
Digging those Pizza Cutters on the Bedford.
Top job as usual guys! 👍🏼
“This is why you edit “ lmaooo love this channel
Keen as to see more ls stuff 👌🏻
Love these fabrication heavy episodes :)
sweet as bro
Yeah those condenser coils are really efficient, we use two of them in refrigerated trucks and utes
Where do you purchase them from mate? Looking at doing something similar. Cheers.
Haha outtakes..... nice! Looks great from my place haha, chur boys!
