- See what Venus flytraps look like after being in a completely dark box for 2 months! It rarely happens, but this order was returned to us as "undeliverable" but it took nearly 8 weeks for them to come back to us!!!
By the time we got them out of the box, it was 8 weeks to the day after they were mailed. The plants are still very much alive and will make a full recovery in time. We'll document their progress with subsequent video updates, so watch for those in the future!

Wow, cant say I’m surprised I got an ARFT and it took once arrived with little to no shock seemingly was very pleased as always with you all!!
8 weeks with no water and light is crazy! Show how hardy these plants can be.
For sure!!
Tough lil plants
WOW, 8 weeks! As long as that rhizome is white and firm they should be good.
I didn't uproot them to verify the status of the rhizome, but they looked as healthy as they could be for being trapped in a box for 8 weeks! Pretty sure they're quite healthy and will grow well this summer :)
@@MattMillerFlytrapStore was the media dry ?
@@MattMillerFlytrapStore Do you feel dormancy played a role in the plants staying alive as long as they did?
@@noodsanddumpsit most likely did
@DJJumpdancer it certainly wasn't as moist as it was when they went in the box but with the plastic wrap covering the surface of the soil entirely, they moss was still sufficiently damp to keep the plants alive.
Are you guys gonna do a spring tour?
Coming soon!! I have the video done. I just need to edit and upload it. Probably later today 😊
Someone didn’t get there plants? That sucks
Yeah, and the weird thing was that they didn't contact us about it either.
Update on this one ? :)
Been meaning to get one out! The African Werewolf is doing well but the AR Fused Tooth unfortunately got crown rot. I should have treated it with fungicide upon unboxing them!
@@MattMillerFlytrapStore what fungicide can you recommend ?
