I want to learn everything from Rowe jukeboxes...im into vintage music and got an 80s vinyls collection, vintage receivers and speakers but jukeboxes are awesome!!!
Jim, do you know how to adjust the platter speed? My R91 45 jukebox is playing fast. I've been trying to learn how to calibrate the speed so I can set it to 45 RPM.
@jeffelbelping1844 I don't off hand with little information. I have never had a problem with motor speed on those models. Do you have an American box in Europe, or vice versa?
Great video. I agree with you. These jukeboxes should last a long time. I believe even the 1960s and 1970s Rowe AMI jukeboxes are superb and should last another 100 years also. I believe the MM4 and MM5 models were the most reliable.

As I was told by an old Operator the jukebox model number wasn't 4 years it was 5 -- it corresponded to the end of the 5 year warranty, including the year it was made, so an R83 was made in 1979 (79-80-81-82-83). I have an R83 with the 200-watt amplifier. The fidelity is nothing short of sensational and the crossover network used is in a class of its own. These models are not collectible per se and they are inexpensive but you will be hard-pressed to find anything comparable to the playback fidelity of these models. The speakers used in the AMI were outsourced -- I forget the company who supplied them but they were exclusive to Rowe/AMI jukeboxes. The 50's Seeburgs -- specifically the model R and V200 had outstanding fidelity and the tube amps were way advanced for their time, able to play back any note from 20-25,000 HZ, but the R-series of Rowe/AMI stereo models were the best of the best in my opinion.
Great video......Thank you......I have a Rowe R-92 with a Pioneer 6- cd player. No sound, looks like a bad amplifier problem. Does anyone make this part anymore, thank you. I luv my Rowe ! I bought a High Speed pinball machine from Todd at TNT. He has some fantastic video's on UA-cam.
Hi Bruce, anyway I can replace the top back plate silver trim? I have an R74 AMI Rowe. I believe it is part #401-068190 or 401-06809. While cleaning it up I rubbed off some of the metal-look trim overlay. I've looked around but I haven't seen this replacement piece/s anywhere. Hope you can help me out. Thanks, Rocky

I worked on models MM-6 through R-94. I love Rowe machines. And I loved the sound of their 50 watt tube amps.
