- Todd Tuckey shows you how to adjust the Tonearm on a Rowe 45rpm Jukebox. Thuis adjustment is similar on a Rockola jukebox also. It is very easy to do and only a 1/4" nutdriver needed!
Also...the plastic piston support for the door for all Rowe jukeboxes can be purchased by following this link!

Thanks a ton for this video from six years ago Todd and team! It helped with my R91. I’m hoping you’ve got another video about adjusting the tracking force. Best wishes!
Thanks for the tip. I have one of these and this has alluded me for a while.
It's official. Every time I hear "Living is Good" I think of TNT Amusements videos!
That's the way it should be!
Happy to see todd's tips back again!
another one coming!
"Living is good" should have been the record in the jukebox :)
Its very hard to find on 45rpm...I have looked!
I made the adjustment on my r-90. Just great now- thanks
***** Five Star Review from me. This Helped me 100%. I have A Rowe R-88 Just like the one you are using. I also watched your Video on the arm ejecting too early. That video also helped me.. My Jukebox works just fine now! I am very happy now! You made my Day.
Glad the video helped you! Make sure you have subscribed!
Simpsons pinball party cabinet looks great. Such a great pinball machine, I love mine.
Thanks!!

Will you be doing a video on it?
Can you please show how to adjust the tone arm weight on this machine in a bit more depth. I recently acquired one of these and love it, have a few records that I reckon would sound a bit better if the weight is adjusted on the tone arm.
Thank you for your video but my problem is not in a start is on a finish
Hello for the rowe it's ok just the arm that doesn't come back at the end of the record by watching your video I learned about the adjustment but I don't know what to do for the end so that it comes back to its place. Thank you very much im in spain
45 juke boxes are awesome. There used to be one in a pizza place I worked at but sadly they eventually switched it over to those newer ones with the touch screen that plays digital music.
yes...45rpm jukes have almost disappeared from the vending scene!
I acquired a Rowe r74 jukebox works good but the only speaker that is working is the top right corner one .. is the some way to turn the other ones on? They may have been disconnected how can I tell?
my 45 jukebox picks up record and puts it down the needle goes to record but then it pick it back up and keeps repeating the same record with outturntable spinning and answer!!
There is a little metal flap underneath, that is not allowing the arm to move freely. I have a video I've lubricated but still stops that arm from moving its there something else anyone can think off ?
Thank you so much for this. I just bought a R91 for $300 and my tone arm needs the same exact adjustment.
I don't have sound coming from my mid/high speakers and record will not return when done playing.
But if I lift the tone arm up it will then put the record back. Also need new woofers, any recommendations? They vibrate bad when sound turned up. I did turn the base all the way down and didn't help.
Thank you for your great videos!
amplifier needs to be rebuilt...and all the cold solder header pins reflowed for sure
Bonjour, j'aimerais connaitre la façon de régler le poids à l’arrière du bras ainsi que la valeur à appliquer. Merci (Rowe Ami Ri-5)
I just brought a Rowe JAL-200 (1963) any tips? It works but it needs work lol.
never saw one!
I have a rockola princess 424 and the tone arm skips along the record. How do I adjust the pressure? (there is a video on my channel). There is no weight in the back of the tone arm. Also what do you charge to repair jukeboxes? I am in Pittsburgh. Thx Todd!
That jukebox has no weight...UNDER the tone arm (lift it up) is a simple spring adjustment. You move the loop one way or the other. REMEMBER, you HAVE to have a good needle...set spring so it is heavy enough NOT to skip the records
Thanks for the advice. I just made a video about my problem and I gave you a shout out! It would be an honor if you would check it out.
At 4:23 you started to say something about lead-in and lead-out grooves are cut differently. What were you going to say? I recently adjusted my R-91 tonearm and some records it starts perfectly and others it starts a few seconds into the song.
You have to adjust lead in needle to accommodate MOST records....some records have this tiny little lead in...usually if its a long song.
TNT Amusements Inc A video showing time arm weight would be helpful. The other video on setting reject limit helped me out too.
now where is that Happy Song hmmmm
Forgot to put that in!
