In this "Estranged" guitar lesson video series, I will show you note-for-note how to play this incredible guitar workout by GN'R from their Use Your Illusion II album.
Make sure you tune your guitar down one half-step in order to follow along with this lesson and the original recording. Those notes will be, starting from the 6th string (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb).
"Estranged" is almost a guitar solo from beginning to end with Slash playing soaring guitar melodies throughout most of the song along with some scorching guitar solos where he kicks it into a higher gear.
I will break down all of those lead guitar parts in this video lesson series then go back and show you the rhythm guitar parts as well. It is going to be quite a ride so make sure you look for all of the lessons in my GN'R guitar lesson playlist so you don't miss any of them.
