The battery held up quite well I must say. I was afraid it wouldn't get you through the real world test. Definitely an improvement from the 2020 SE. Also, loud birds notwithstanding, that seating area of the coffee shop is beautiful.

The real world photo comparison shots are really helpful. Also, shooting video in the rain does help show the versatility of the phone, most UA-cam channel always shoot video on dry sunny days.

Another great video. As a long time Android user who rooted his phones - until the UIs caught up to the mods, I bought the 128 Gb 2020 SE on the day it came out (and the latest IPad Air - 3rd gen I think). I was impressed by the build quality and smoothness of the devices. However, not even jailbreaking the phone (for some reason the iPad UI didn't bother me as much) could help me get past the UI limitations. So, four months later, I gave them to my wife and bought a Note 20 Ultra and Tab S7. That said, I appreciate why iPhone users stay in the ecosystem. The six or seven year old form factor still has its benefits. The addition of 5G makes this attractive to the more frugal user. Appreciate your take.

Don’t need 5G but I'm still torn whether to keep it or exchange it for an iPhone 12 mini. The idea of more screen real estate is very appealing, but not sure worth another $220 (CDN)? I'm leaning towards keeping it?

I switched from my Pixel 4 to a second hand 2020 SE mostly bc of the fingerprint scanner. Just so fed up with dealing with a mask + face unlock. So there’s definitely a use case for having that button

I purchased this phone for my 15 year old who used an iPod for the past several years She likes it because it reminds her of her iPod with it’s similar use. This was budget friendly since personally I don’t think a teen needs a $1k phone to start out. It gets the job done.

The A52 is Samsung am i correct? The photos really are great but nobody mention it so far. I'm really impressed. I was considering SE but i think these comparison speak a lot.

Looks like it can pull off around 6 hours SOT average. I got LG G8 and I get 7H SOT average with 16-17H standby and I thought it was good but its really close to SE and now my perspective is confused

actually iphone se 2022 is useful and deserved all the love.. all of these "tech reviewer" will always bringing up things like battery life and display compared to other flagship iphone (13 to pro max)
don't get me wrong, i do love the OLED display and battery life of the other flagship iphone but for this price, it's considered to be one of the best iphone apple ever made for the price range.. i must say alot of good and better android will outperform the SE 22 for the price range but nothing can defeat apple software support (up to 6years whereas $400 android around 2-3years)

I prolly would choose iphone11 to SE 2022, but since iphone11 was release a few years ago, the OS upgrade and support will end sooner than the SE. It’s important if you are the type who doesn’t change phone every year or 2.

IMO,unless you really need a 5G iPhone and are on a tight budget or you really want a home button, a used/refurb 12/12 mini or brand new 11 would be a much better buy...Yeah they don't have the newest processor, but everything else is just way better

The display and battery are better and the fact that it has two cameras and nightmode, but because of a15 the main camera still looks better on the se 2022

Loving theses real world tests there great but your right it’s an iPhone and for me iOS is just better I have an iphone 7plus an iPhone XR and an iPhone XS and an iphone 12pro I sill prefer the 7plus but use the 12pro mostly……. I have had loads of android phones and for me there not too good after about 6 months sometimes less sometimes more they start to lag and crash I have never had this with any of my iPhones from the 5s to the 12 missing the 11 out……. Also for me it the years of updates you get with iOS with 90% of androids your lucky to get one update to new software sometimes none for my family iOS reigns king
Next generation should have the night mode.
I think the SE 2022 is a great phone. I come from both the android and apple fields, so I have a good understanding of the features. It’s for some people, and not for others. But, the battery life is pretty good from what I’m seeing, looks good.
