Hey I want to thank you for showing me how to find this. My Husband was very happy and I am sorry for all the neg comments you are getting. you clearly show and tell us how to get to use the keyless entry when needing the Master Code. Not how to get in your truck if you lock yourself out. Thank You Again!!
This video is the real deal! We just bought a used 2013 F-150 and we needed the factory code...dealerships are charging $70 to research and find this code for you, well save your money and give this guy a thumbs up because the code was right were he said it would be and we were able to reset our keyless entry! Thank you!
Your Video was invaluable for those of us who plan ahead. Unlike some others who just want to criticize those who want to help. I bought a used truck and the previous owner didn't know the code. I even went to a Ford Dealer who only wanted me to pay $55. 00 labor to figure it out. Within seconds I was using my keypad. Thanks for your help. Keep the Videos coming...
This worked on my 2013 Lariat. Code was right inside that side panel. Other videos show the code on a sticker on the back side of that same box where you have to remove more trim pieces to see behind that box, but mine was where this video shows it to be.
depends on the year, but hey the code is on a white card in your zip up owners manual holder thing its also on like 2 places on the truck... they’re taking advantage of your lack of knowledge, thats why you look up where it can be before you call them cause they’ll want you to bring it in, its a business you know...
If a shop tried to charge me anything for this I would FLIP OUT Take one key, turn it untill it beeps at you, take out the key, insert other key, and start truck. BAMP code displayed. in fact, I might use this to test a shop to see if I would ever do business with them
My 2004 f150 fw4 off road does not have the sticker in the location shown! Next idea “easy way”. I’m 70 and had 2 back surgeries. Back don’t bend like it used to!!!
But if you set your own code, the code on the sticker no longer works right or wrong? I would think that's when they would need $125 to pull the custom code you set no?
2008 SCREW, the factory code is on a sticker on a plastic box behind the rear seat back. (It might be in this location too, I don't have the truck with me at the moment so will have to check later.) Removing the seat back is a little tricky - the latches are somewhat difficult to find the first time and counterintuitive to release, so find a couple articles & videos to get different points of view first.
I was told it would cost me $65 to have the dealer reset the code YOU just saved me that. thank you. I owe ya! now to come up with a 2nd remote key fob. we only got one when we bought the truck. suggestions?
put first key in and turn to on (not start), give it a second and then put second key in and turn to on. wait for screen to show you the factory code. leave key in and on. on door press 1 then the code then 1 then a new 5 digit code. you now have both factory code and your personal code. i believe if you then press 3 and a code you may be able to add another code still, but i have not tried that. still this video is good to know.
On my 09 F150 the code was on passenger side behind the fuse box. Had to use cell phone camera to take a pic of it. Just enough angel to make out the first 5 numbers under bar code. There was maybe a 1 1/2 inch gap between fuse box and side wall.
Are there more than one code for a F-150 Triton V8? I looked at another video and it mentioned that there's a security code and a keypad code-(which I believe is what you was showing in your video.) A friend of mind locked his keys in his truck just this past Wednesday and did not know the Key Pad Code due to him buying it used.
Ever since Ford's came with keyless entry the code is always on the body control module sticker on all their trucks and cars . If you bought it new there will be a card in owners manual with code
Look up under dash on drivers side you'll see a white or yellowish colored box with a label on it those 5 numbers are your code. If your truck is similar to the 02
Its good to know that someone made a video for this. But y'all must be dealing with shady car dealers. When I bought my f150, the dealer showed me where it was. And also showed me how to set up my own code for it. But again, good video for those that dodnt know. And your owners manual will also tell you how to do it.
Looking for the same, same year.. they were changed in 2009 and newer.. 2010 keyless module is located behind the passengers side kick panel.. open the passengers and , put your hand on the sill, slide it forward and the first plastic part you hit...that is were it is behind.. number is on a sticker on the right side .. body metal side.. 5 number near top of sticker.
YOUR VIDEO SAYS IF U DONT KNOW YOUR PASS CODE & YOUR KEYS ARE LOCKED INSIDE. THEN U SAY TO FIRST OPEN YOUR TRUCK. WELL I CANT OPEN IT CAUSE I DONT HAVE THE PASS CODE & ALSO THE KEYS ARE LOCKED IN THE TRUCK. IAM JUST NOT HOW U OPEN IT THEN ?
ThomKatFlyer if you have both factory keys, put one in the ignition, turn to on then off, remove key, put second key in and turn to on. Code should appear in the center display in the dashboard.
Your video started out with something to the effect, "If you lock your keys inside, etc." Then you stated, "open the vehicle." IF the vehicle is locked and the keys are inside, how am I supposed to open the vehicle to access the code sticker?
Viendo otros videos , encontré que el código de la f150 2004, 2005,2006.....está detrás del resapaldo de los asientos traseros, es más dificil acceder, pero en youtube encuentras videos explicandolo. Saludos!
So if I get locked out of my truck all I have to do is open the passenger door take off the passenger kick panel and then enter that PIN number into my keypad, then I can get into my truck?
198404jlf THE VIDEO IS MEANT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE PURCHASED A VEHICLE LIKE THIS AND WERE NOT TOLD OR LOST THE KEY CODE NUMBER LIKE ME... THANK YOU SIR FOR THE VIDEO....
I bought a 2004 F150 Lariat, obviously I bought it used. so I did exactly what your video said to find the code, but it's not there. maybe a previous owner removed the sticker. is there any other way to get this code besides paying out the ass to the dealer?
Leah Sapp for the 2004-2008 Lariat, the code is on a sticker attached to the keyless entry module which is mounted to the back of the cab behind the back seat on the driver's side of the truck. There is at least one video on UA-cam that shows how to remove the seat back. The entire seat back must be unbolted, unclipped, and lowered in order to get to the keyless entry module. There is also another panel behind the seat back that has to be partially unfastened. I had to do that to recover the code for my 2006 Lariat.
Or if you bought it brand new in your owners booklet there will be a white card that looks like a credit card that says ford on it and it has your passcode on it as well
It really not a secret if you are telling everyone. I am not sure how you are suppose to retrieve the “secret code” if you are already locked out of the truck as well. Thanks for the video though!
Bro this is useless asf if someone doesn’t know this the only time it will be searched is when they need to know meaning they won’t be able to get in the car to see the numbers .. click bait title
If you accidentally lock your keys in the truck. -> His answer: first open the truck... What the fuck! Maybe practice what your going to say first before you say action and start rolling.
having the keyless lock system working saves you if your keys are locked in car this is an explanation of how to get the factory code so you can set or reset your system so that in the future you can lock your keys in your car without worry this isnt a fix for when they are locked inside.... maybe listen to the video and use common sense before you say action and criticize a video someone put up to be helpful
+nick faganello - What is this pile of malarkey. This is the longest incoherent run-on sentence I've seen, in at least a few days on UA-cam. I've got to stay away from dumbfuck videos. They beckon dumbass commenters.

You are amazing, just bought my used truck and it didn't come with the code on a card from the dealer. THANK YOU! UA-cam is amazing

What a Bunch of Money Grubbing Thieves.!
Thank you!!! Had my 2014 for months and I thought I was going to have to pay Ford $$$ To retrieve the code. You rock. I subscribe...

Tamas Stiener
brooooo thanks!!!!!! you saved me lol and i literally just left the ford dealer and said “guess i’ll go without it” hahah! worked on my 2012 F150
years ago it was imprinted on a sticker on the hinge for the hood as well. it's also in you owners manual paperwork.
This was rad, the d-bags at the dealership wanted to charge me $50.00 to get the code.
Worked like a charm on my 2013. Thank you.
What are you do if you need the code and the keys are in it and turned on and the doors are locked
Dude thank you! Bought a used F150 last week and this is a useful hack.
most helpful video i have ever watched on youtube

Thank you for your video... excellent..... found the code and it worked.....!! Thanks again..
Thanks! Was just able to use this feature for the first time after watching your video!
Sure appreciate the info. I got to use it for my used 150
Thanks for the info I was able to locate mine

Thank you so much, this saved me alot of time and money. As long as the code was never changed this method will work.
Even if the code is changed the original factory code will always work champ !
You da man........ got it in a minute.... THANK YOU :)
Thank you very much. You saved me 75 dollars.

The simplest definition
Thanks
You are the best, thank you
Thank you!
Thank you Sir!!!
Thank you!!!
Ford wanted me to pay $125 for this 30 second fix. Absolutely disgusted by them.

Depends on the model and it cost 100 for a delership to get the coed

Thank you my friend
Thanks I just had to pay a locksmith 100 dollars to open up my door great video I wish I would have found it sooner
Outstanding 👍

Go to your local reputable locksmith. Dealer wanted to charge $300 for a replacement fob and programming. Local locksmith did it for 2 fobs for $120
thanks i bought my truck used and didn't have code. it worked i have a 2011 f150
Thank you
put first key in and turn to on (not start), give it a second and then put second key in and turn to on. wait for screen to show you the factory code. leave key in and on. on door press 1 then the code then 1 then a new 5 digit code. you now have both factory code and your personal code. i believe if you then press 3 and a code you may be able to add another code still, but i have not tried that. still this video is good to know.
You're right but that doesn't work on older models.
Cool!

this works for a 2012 f150
Great thanks
Can also use your keys..admin key goes in first i think, turn to on and shut off..pull out and use other key. turn on and entry code should appear.
Tryed on my2011 150 did not work. looked on side panel and I am in business.
Incorrect!

Nice !! Stinking Dealership wanted to charge me $130.00 for my code. They need to be brought up on charges!
It actually worked!!!😄👍
put year and cab version in title.. it's not there on my 04 f150 extended
Good to know
How about on the f-250 04 super duty crew cab 2004 f250
Ever since Ford's came with keyless entry the code is always on the body control module sticker on all their trucks and cars . If you bought it new there will be a card in owners manual with code
My customer pulled J4CPG code but it is not the right code for 2013 Ford f-150. Where else can we find the code?
Thanks for the video, but there is no sticker inside the panel for our 2001 Ford F150 Lariat, darn :-)
Look up under dash on drivers side you'll see a white or yellowish colored box with a label on it those 5 numbers are your code. If your truck is similar to the 02

My 2007 F150....it's behind the rear seat, by the way.
Thanks...
Genius
You are the fucking man, every other video I saw said the stick was on the opposite side of where you showed us. Many thanks bro
🎉 me ahorraste $80 bucks más el tiempo de ir al dealer,te agradezco con un like 👍 gracias 🙏🏽
Hmmm, I didn't see one on my 2004 f150? Even took another panel off and looked behind the fuse box
Good video....but what year truck?
Sticker is not there on my 2010 F-150 any other locations where I might find the code in the truck
5 number near top of sticker.
what if my Code is wiped? I took truck in for service, and code no longer works. How do I reset it?
GREG PARKINSON owners manual
YOUR VIDEO SAYS IF U DONT KNOW YOUR PASS CODE & YOUR KEYS ARE LOCKED INSIDE. THEN U SAY TO FIRST OPEN YOUR TRUCK. WELL I CANT OPEN IT CAUSE I DONT HAVE THE PASS CODE & ALSO THE KEYS ARE LOCKED IN THE TRUCK. IAM JUST NOT HOW U OPEN IT THEN ?
Don’t have one on my 05 lariat in that spot. Anyplace else?
Behind driver side rear seat back behind grey paneling on a little black box
Any idea where the code is on a 2017 f150? I only have one key to make matters even worse.
Anthony Smith, same exact situation here. Any luck knowing what to do?
took mine to dealer they had it in 30 seconds on their computer
Ford had keyless entry since 1985
If you guys still have the original owners manual for your vehicle it should have the code within the first few pages
How do you open the back door is the childlock is on? Cant open it to turn it on with the key at childlock
Cant find it found stickers but no 5 digits
It worked on my 2012 F150 platinum 👍
How about 2000 f150 key code?
Does not work, checked the fuse and it's ok, lights work when I press the numbers, entered the code found under the passengers foot protective door.
Not available in Northern California... That SUCKS
La expedicio! 2005 en que parte la tiene
En la "n" . Ayi esta su problema , se le perdio la letra n.
Ok, there is no sticker on my '04 150. Next?
ThomKatFlyer if you have both factory keys, put one in the ignition, turn to on then off, remove key, put second key in and turn to on. Code should appear in the center display in the dashboard.
My son is 10 and got it in 20 seconds
Your video started out with something to the effect, "If you lock your keys inside, etc." Then you stated, "open the vehicle." IF the vehicle is locked and the keys are inside, how am I supposed to open the vehicle to access the code sticker?
I'm just gonna take a wild guess and say he is implying you know before hand....
Saludos!
Where did you get your mossy oak seat covers?
What about a 2016?
Russ Tanner Same thing.

Leah Sapp those years have it in many different places. Try asking a dealer they might be nice.
not all hero's wear capes
Bought my truck used, card is gone, sticker is gone...
I just bought a 04 f150 crew cab didn’t see any code or any numbers not criticizing anybody just it wasn’t there
i just use a hammer
Totally helpless if keys are locked in truck
But I'm locked out! 😭😭
Cant do it ??
Pretty hard to do it
I haven't do it yet .its crazy
Or if you bought it brand new in your owners booklet there will be a white card that looks like a credit card that says ford on it and it has your passcode on it as well
