Toyota Land Cruiser LJ73, 2L-T to 1KZ-T swap

In this video we are restoring a Toyota Land Cruiser LJ73. We also change the original 2L-t engine for a 1KZ-t engine. We use the original bellhousing of the Kzj73 and re-use the transmission of the LJ73.

Does the 1kz block bolt up to the 2l transmission without any modifications or do you purhaps need to change the bellhousing from the 1kz engine over?

Why go with the 1kz? Wouldnt a 5l with turbo been easier? Or if you were changing mounts, why not a 1kd?

Becose the 1KZ-T is an original Turbo engine, with a mechanical injectionpump
