Yeah, it's weird that there's only "extra virgin olive oil" and "olive oil", never "virgin olive oil". Also, it's weird that we use the word "virgin" at all to refer to olive oil in the first place.
I always enjoyed when they give me a discount on the caffeine in “Caffeine Free” 😅

@@bizcocho4399 I know that, but I never see "virgin olive oil" at the store. And, no, "virgin" means "first" press, and has nothing to do with additives.
I like this guy, he’s just like a normal person that’s funny, which is nice.
First I'm thinking this guy is not funny at all and then by about two minutes in I'm laughing.
What happened to the other bass player He always had such a lovely warm smile on. Maybe he retired If he did it was always good to see him in monologues

Guess it's obvious I don't come from money either (however I picked raspberries visiting at an aunt's place as a kid), but my point was that I still swim with my eyes open too but *do not get the joke* and it's killin' me to sit with it let alone admit it. 😆 Please pull me out of this misery? 😂
I've been swimming in virtually every kind of water situation. (All silliness aside, not counting flood waters. Heart aches for the hard hit southern USA and other regions recently being inundated across the globe).
I grew up swimming with eyes open in salt water, then in chlorinated pools, fresh water swimming holes, ponds or lakes. What is the "eyes open" part about? Why is this going over my head? I'm not from money and also not a bumkin without reference points. Can be damn dense though. 🙃

I need him in every season of SNL, I didn't know him before and so glad I did from his last SNL appearance. The way I haven't laughed this hard in a SNL monologue in a minute, he is a legend!!! Please bring him back 10x more times
I agree, I legitimately laughed harder than I have in a long time at some of the jokes in this monologue. He is an amazing comedian and would love to see him on SNL so much more.
You should definetly go listen to his stand up. I used to listen to him with my children years ago bc he is a clean comedian and also he is hilarious.
Seriously, I don't remember the last time an SNL host made me genuinely laugh out loud and pause to google their name

I was the thinking he was bombing until I started realizing his schtick and started laughing. That was great 😂
I highly recommend his Netflix special Tennessee Kid, he has 2.5 more but that's a great intro into his comedy. His YT channel Naleland also has short comedy specials that drop weekly.
Oh, Nate's sense of humor is amazing. Go find the coffee order story, and the Cape Fear Serpentarium and its follow-up. It's insanely funny
he has a very blunt demeanor, but it means you have to pay attention to the way he uses his words, and you won't be disappointed :)

I thought that was hilarious, even though decades ago I wound up moving from one community college (and region) to another and another and another and another before transferring to uni.
The joke that he thinks "Speech" is remedial was funny because it's a general ed requirement for anyone to get a degree. But playin' as if it has to do with being a southern country bumkin was funny af.
Maddie rice smiling and laughing the whole time in the background was very precious.

SNL, please don’t turn your show into a commercial sellout. Making parodies or relatable bits about a product is funny, but pushing product in a skit is not.

Congrats to Nate, I had no idea he was hosting again, well deserved! But the only person better cast than Nate as a quick repeat host is Gaffigan as Wahls. It's literally the role he was born to play, can't believe I didn't think of it!! Love seeing two funny, great comedians getting these kinds of chances. I usually don't care much for clean comedy, I get second hand embarrassment if they sacrifice being funny to keep it clean, I mean what's even the point of being up there. But those guys are the two biggest examples, always funny and most of the time I forget they are even clean because theyre so good. There's nothing missing, it's got to be harder to write that way so it's so impressive.

@AsuSun-k6r I never heard of him but that didn't mean he couldn't be funny. Lots of comedians that are not yet known are super funny. So I'm watching and watching this guy and no laughing or even a chuckle. He should have run his material with a friend or even a stranger.

It's ironic that he mentioned problems with his speech. I was thinking his speaking voice is incredibly easy to understand, and, in absolutely every sentence he speaks, he puts emphasis on the right key words. He would be a great film actor. I'd love to see him in a film with Amy Schumer as a couple who meet on a hook-up app. Just that simple of a plotline, and those two could make it a classic.
