Great review Dave, and that's a stunning watch. I have a few SM's and they're pretty much flawless. I'm also a fan of the logo, but some other watch reviewers and commentators criticise this design and think it should be changed. Don't listen to them SM !
A similar quality/price watch comes from Proxima (PX1683) - an MM300 homage. It's a bit hefty, but beautifully put together.
