The SteelDive (SD1970) "Captain Willard" homage is actually a 40mm bezel diameter. Not 44mm, that is the width of the case. I have the black version and bought it during the last Summer, Back to School sale for $50 USD. It goes on sale often so wait for a better deal. This is probably the best version of the Seiko "Captain Willard" from all the brands. It's quality is astonishing. Comparable to a watch for over $250 on AliExpress. I chose the basic black version that looks identical to the iconic original from the Vietnam War era.
@whoislucian I also have the Addiesdive Willard (AD2117) and it's on par with the Steeldive. These are probably my favorite Ali brands at the moment, you get so much bang for your buck.
Prices for Seagull 1963 has come down, where the variations with sapphire or not, etc; where original discussion morphed into ie XEROX that there was the XEROX, but then copying was xeroxing. Thoughts all from same factory with this question a marketing tool?
If you are wanting the Serica homage I suggest IXDAO . It has no branding and an amazing bracelet with a choice of PT5000 or SW200 . When you pay for San Martin , Cronos or Proxima you will realize the price difference is worth it . The Steel dive and the Dune Addiesdive apart , I have not found too many good watches below $100 But if someone can correct me I would be grateful
I really like their Coke GMT, it looks amazing. However, their Serica homage it's basically a Tandorio but with a better movement. San Martin is still the OG for the ratio of quality/price. I don't have a Steeldive as I already have a Seiko diver but the Dune Addiesdive is great for its price. To be honest, is super hard to find a good watch under $100 as there are so many options to choose from.
Seen every single reviews about their models and 5 out of 80 watches either mechanism doesn't work , faulty crown or pushers on Chrono don't work at all , big problems . Apart from the moonswatch, 1734 and 1731 other ones don't worth buying. Yes they have more models and colors variation to choose than addiesdive, but with addiesdive you know what you getting P.s. Pagani lately raised their prices by a lot red flag
Seagull 1963 reminds me a bit of Hamilton Khaki Field. Great video with loads of options to choose from 🤝🏼
Thank you!
Its actually more like a Nomos

Thanks for the correction.
How is it, do you like it? Can’t afford a Captain Willard so most probably I’ll go for the SD1970.
I have the Steeldive sd1970, it's an excellent watch with amazing lume. Highly recommend.
Can’t wait to get my hand on it for a review

@@TonyAlvestad How's the dial? Reminds me of GS "Omiwatari".

Yep, just got the OG Sea-Gull 1963 today.
Honorable mention to the Steeldive SD1953
Steeldive is the OG nowadays

What do you think about the new apple watch series 10?
I like it, and I would wear it along with an analogue watch.
Why ad2030 blue is bad? Thinking about buying one but not decided color yet
The dial doesn’t have enough depth like the other ones (Sand or White).
Buy whatever colour you like, it’s a great watch for its price.

Yep, sper sa pun mana cat de curand pe un Sea-Gull/Red Star 1963, chiar sunt curios cat de frumos este.
Pagani Design is the best value hands down . don't understand why you avoid them
Tbh I don’t like them as they are copy/paste everything, and for me this is a deal breaker.
Not saying others don’t do this but.. 1:1 it’s too much.
@@HackTheWrist they do have original designs also , worth checking out
