Hi sir, thanks for your comment! Scales descending work just the same way as ascending. We just tend to practice ascending first and stick to it, and neglect the descending motion. You should work on descending scales the same way you do ascending, in equal amounts. Hope this helps!
Just today I asked my teacher how I could put scales to use. I thought it would be great if I coiuld sing them like my solfège warm-ups when I sang in a choir. Wow! Thanks for sharing your insights on how to do it.
