I worded that pretty good LOL.
Clone Wars is definitely not a kids show; has some kid moments, but definitely had some brutal moments as well.
Commander Bacara is the prime example of a good soldier and commander. He always managed to get the job done in any environment and pushed his men past their limits to achieve victory. Senior Commander Keller deserves some recognition because he took after Bacara in many ways and was just a skilled and dedicated as he was
Keller is one of my favorites! I wouldn’t say he was as skilled, but I’d definitely say he was more skilled than most. I’d go so far as to say he was right below Neyo. They’re all the best of the best.

2:50 Why wasn't that design for the Wolfpack their phase 2 in general it looks so cool it's like mashup between Galactic Marines, arc troopers I love that look so much wish we got too see more of it.
It does look cool; but I’m assuming they didn’t keep it because they weren’t usually deployed on planets with crazy weather like that.
The 21st was issued unique armor because they were sent to some of the worst environments, some of them even remaining on Mygeeto for 3 years straight.
My favorite commercial commander's obviously commander Cody and was named Kent and eventually called captain Rex's renamed commander rex
Cody is a great choice! He’s the iconic clone; there would be no Clone Wars show without him.
Rex unfortunately wasn’t a Marshal Commander, so so I believe, and the reason I’m saying this is because Marshal Commanders seem to only be trained from birth. I’d guess he’s a senior commander when he’s put in charge of the 332nd Company; even though Companies are led by Captains such as Vaughn.
We also know, somewhere out there, there was a Commander for the 501st and whatever corps it belonged to. Eventually it was Appo; but we don’t know who it was before.
@@marshalcommander About Marshal Commander being trained from birth for specifically that rank: I have heard that Commander Cody himself was promoted to Marshal during the clone wars. Obi-Wan had something to do with it. This is what a lot of the big star wars UA-camrs say, and could be based off of a comic or a book. I do not know for fact, but I thought I'd let you know to clear anything up.

We should get a 3 season show called "Star Wars Galactic Marine" the first 2 seasons show his training and the war on Mygeeto and the 3rd season os the transition and service in the Empire. It'd be a neat way to give us more Bacara and the Marines.
I would absolutely love a show covering the 21st! They were on more than just Mygeeto though, they got the absolute worst, toughest, and longest battles. That needs covered.

I always assumed Pond was leader of a sub-unit of the 91st while Neyo commanded the whole thing

Cody at number 5 is criminal he’s a top 3 in the least for sure.
Having him below Neyo is something baffling the amount of campaigns Cody and the 7th Sky Corps served in is truly remarkable.
I’m not down playing Neyo and the 91st Reconnaissance Corps but come him and Ponds (who died not long after the start of the war) being above Cody just doesn’t seem right Cody should definitely be much higher and should be a contender with Bly with the 327th Star Corps and Baccara with the 21st Nova Corps for the top spot.
I took into account many things. But to be honest, I don’t think Cody scales to Bacara or Neyo at all. Especially Bacara. To Ponds, yes, it’s more than debatable. And I wouldn’t say he scales to Bly either; especially after his battle on Honoghr and managing to hit Quinlan Vos as a blur. BUT, I do feel like I ranked the 7th too low; I was sticking to a system to decide my rankings and it’s just where they fell into place.
Sub-units:
I gave this to Cody and the 7th, I love Ghost Company. But it was close. Lightning Squadron was considered the best mechanized unit in the GAR, if I recall correctly. As they utilize the vehicle plans that Bacara and Neyo created together.
Leadership:
I gave this to Ponds. He’s one of, if not the most compassionate clone in the army. But on top of that, he’s more able to EFFECTIVELY command his AT-TEs, BARCs, AT-RTs, and whatever other vehicles. Also; Mace Windu is one of the most powerful and war ready Jedi.
Skill:
I gave to Ponds. Unlike Ponds, Cody isn’t a vehicle specialist on every single GAR vehicle excluding starfighters. If I put Bacara, Neyo, and Bly on this list though he wouldn’t really contend. That’s why I’m just comparing Cody and Ponds right now.
And then there were some other things. Campaigns is something you mentioned; but while Cody has more named campaigns we saw on screen. The 91st debatably got the worst of the war, being the main force on Saleucami and I’d have to assume some of them were on Haruun Kal too. Up there with the 327th who got Felucia and the 21st who got the Battle of New Bornalex. But I do agree I ranked Cody too low; as of this time I do want to put him above Ponds; but it’s so close it’s a debate. Ponds died early, yes. But he was killed by sacrifice. If his admiral abandoned ship, he would’ve went too.

@@absolutelynothing1131 keep in mind, for awhile we only knew the 7th Sky Corps as the 212th Attack Battalion. It's rare for an entirety of a corps to participate in a battle.
Commanders Wolffe, and Ponds were Battalion Commanders. Like you said, Wolffe led the 104th and was close with Plo, but that doesn't mean he's Marshal as Plo worked with the 442nd who are likely in the same Corps as 104th and wolffe doesn't command them. Ponds was the Battalion Commander of the 187th battalion in the 187th legion that was in the 91st led by Neyo. Moving to Doom, He was the senior commander of the 125th legion.
@@epsildepsil9942 you’re 100% wrong about Ponds, because look at his insignia during the First Battle of Geonosis. He was a MCMDR before Neyo was even off Kamino. Wolffe is debatable. The only reason we predict he is one in this video is due to the 104th not belonging to a larger Corps and throughout comics and novels (canon) we don’t see Plo work with any other commanders. He does work alongside Wolffe with other units under him though.

Only clones I have found info on them being “Marshall commanders” are Cody, Neto, Bly, Fox, Bacara, and Gree. I always figured Ponds was considering the high ranking general he served under and the fact that I believe he was the highest ranked commander of the first battle of geonosis.
Correct. Ponds was in charge of the majority of forces on Geonosis. There were other commanders and units; but a lot of the forces were combined in the main attack that we see on screen. The others I used information we directly have. Doom for example has the Marshal Commander rank insignia. Neyo was a Marshal Commander at the same time as Ponds; but we know he was developing BARC and vehicle tactics for a lot of the beginning of the Clone Wars. Commander Wolffe is the only potential NOT Marshal Commander on this list. But with him being a main character up there with Rex and Cody; it’s more of a safe assumption than anything. As far as we know, he could be anywhere from Battalion Commander to Marshal Commander. Works directly with Plo Koon more than once though. So that’s my reasoning.
@@marshalcommander I believe Wolffe was just a Battalion commander because unlike him, the others were commanders of Corps (Bly-327th Star Corp, Cody-7th Sky Corp, Neyo/Ponds-91st Reconnaissance Corp, Bacara-21st Nova Corp, Gree-41st Elite Corp, and Fox-Coruscant guard which was a corp). As far as I’m aware the 104th Battalion was just a Battalion and not under any corp. Sadly can’t find much of anything about Doom’s unit and whether or not they’re a battalion, legion or corp.
@@aydenmorse2481 the 104th Battalion still belonged to a Corps. Just like the 212th Attack Battalion (which Cody mainly worked with) belonged to a Corps. Very rarely, if ever seen, a full Corps in a battle.
I thought the only 4 marshal commanders were Bakara, Bly, Cody and Neyo?
Ponds had the 4 dots for Marshal Commander in AotC, Doom had the same insignia as Cody on his chest, Fox is the only clone who works directly under Palpatine, only debatable one on this list would be Wolffe :))
I don't think bow was ever a Marshall commander but bow was always my favorite clone commander.
Bow was promoted after Appo’s death. Appo was a Senior Commander. So Bow is as well.

Honestly, the Galactic Marines would win. Canon ARCs aren’t impressive anyways. Legends ARCs would be a better fight but still lose tbh.

I think it was a good addition. Makes their betrayal make a bunch more sense. I know I wouldn’t turn around and blast my best friend without hesitation, so I gotta assume it was the same for most clones.
Though I do believe some of them ENJOYED killing their Jedi.

Where are the 501st Legion and 332nd Company Clone Commanders?
332nd Clone Commander was Commander Rex. A Senior Commander. We don’t know who the Marshal Commander of the 501st was. It should’ve been Appo, but the Clone Wars made him a Sergeant.

There’s only 5 Marshal Commanders not 9, they are Bacara, Cody, Neyo, Bly, and Fox. I’m surprise base on your name I would think you knew the difference between Marshal Commanders from Commander, as you described 4 Commanders as Marshal Commanders when they are not.
They quite literally have rank insignias that are the exact same. There is no normal Commander rank either. Senior Commanders, Regimental Commanders, and Battalion Commanders.
The rank insignia and the units they lead are the things to look at. There’s 5 commanders that are specified in words to be Marshal Commanders. The other 4 are HEAVILY implied. The only one that is even debatable is Ponds and that’s simply because Neyo did exist and was creating Republic BARC and vehicle tactics throughout the early stages of the Clone Wars.

@@marshalcommander Marshal Commander can give orders to a Commander not the other way around, doesn’t matter if they have the same insignia they both are given different respect and one has higher authority than the other. If a Jedi General dies if there’s a Marshal Commander present they will take charge over the Commander. It’s basically like saying a Brigadier General is the same as a Lieutenant General, yes they both have the name General in their title and both have one of the highest ranks in the military but that’s where the similarities end.
@@marshalcommander Also there wouldn’t be a need for a title like Marshal Commander if they are the same as a Commander, what would the point be. I will simplify it even more it’s like saying Grandmaster Yoda is the same rank as Master Kenobi, which they are not.

@@marshalcommander There’s no context clues stating that some Commanders are actually Marshal Commanders, the only clues stating anything is some Commanders are more capable or skilled than some of the Marshal Commanders. Some Commanders have the skills to be a Marshal Commander but doesn’t change the fact they are not Marshal Commanders… Just because a McDonalds employee can do a better job than a Manager doesn’t mean he’s a Manager, but I wouldn’t disagree that he should be an Manager but still isn’t a Manager regardless how we feel… It’s one thing of what you would like to see as Marshal Commanders than giving wrong info because of bias viewpoints. Sure some I agree should have been Marshal Commanders but that’s not what your video is about.

@@marshalcommanderhe died early in the war having him above Cody & The 7th Sky Corps who served in just as many of the wars key campaigns as Rex and the 501st Legion just seems a bit off.
@@MCLegend13 while I do prefer Cody; there were some things I took into account for this video. The missions he got done alongside Windu in both Legends and Canon. The 91st and Lightning Squadron were just highly regarded as some of the best, up there right behind the 21st Nova Corps.
@@marshalcommander I do see your point but for me the I don’t fully agree with it.
The 501st Legion and 7th Sky Corps the 212th Attack Battalion in particular are definitely rated slightly higher than the 187th, Lightning Squadron and the rest of the 91st Reconnaissance Corps.
I mean just look at all those on screen showings of the 212th troopers bodying B1s with their Bare Hands, or jumping on crab droids taking them out extremely quickly, one of them even threw Hands with General grievous throwing one of the nastiest Right arms I’ve ever seen right across the face of Grievous.
Also the 332nd Company of the 501st fought hand to hand against Mandalorians just like the 21st Nova Corps, while they took part in the brutal fighting during the Siege Of Mandalor.
The 7th Sky corps and 501st Legion are up there pretty much equal to the 327th Star Corps and 21st Nova Corps and the 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps are just barely behind them in 5th place.

But I’ll agree with you more here and rearrange my list.
21st is on top by a landslide, followed closely by the 327th and NEYO’s 91st. Then I think things get more equal. But it’s so close; I’d say the 501st, 7th, and Pond’s 91st are equal. With the 501st and 7th being better by a margin… not a huge one, but still significant.
And while the 332nd fought former Death Watch, that was mainly blaster combat. The 21st went hand to hand with Mandalorian Protectors, B1s, and B2s.
Take into account as well, the 501st weren’t utilized a whole bunch in Legends comics and novels for awhile. Which holds them back a lot here.
