What a beautiful Park and super fun video... The beach looked wonderful... Great Tour.... Thanks to both, Jim ✌️
Thanks Jim. Nothing more exhilarating than walking on the beach on a very chilly day. Have a wonderful weekend. ✌️ Tom
There's something about the ruggedness of Lake Huron, maybe it's not as touristy, I guess, as Lake Michigan. Beautiful beach. I noticed some dunes, which is unusual for Lake Huron. Amazing video!
Thanks for watching. Yes there was some sand dunes At Sleeper State Park, which like you said is unusual. I believe there are some sand dunes at Port Crescent State in Park in Port Austin. But that’s all I’ve seen.
@@RoamingMichiganTogether yes I've noticed that too but not anywhere else on the coast. Remarkable!
Whenever I photograph Lake Huron, I always get these turquoise Caribbean looking waters. Never found that in Lake Michigan yet.
When Lake Huron is nice and calm the water is very blue looking. Which does make for nice photos. The St. Clair river gets that beautiful blue too which looks amazing. Have a wonderful day. Thanks for watching.
not sure when this was filmed but is the campground open? i thought mid October they close. i wanted to get out and do some brisk weather camping in my teardrop but i thought all the state parks are closed now.
We were there on 14th of October. Which I believe was the last weekend for camping. There are a few Michigan State Park campgrounds that are open for the winter months but not which ones they are. Thanks for watching. I hope you find some place to camp. Have a great and adventurous rest of the week
@@RoamingMichiganTogether i have made it to Hartwick Pines and Harrisville this year. usually make it up to Petoskey every year but didn't get there this year. i have a new teardrop camper and i am loving it.
@@travelinwithTODD love Hartwick Pines. We have hiked all the trails there. Haven’t camp there yet but hope to next summer. Petoskey is definitely a beautiful area.
