This is the perfect way to demo an amp. Good player plays while another set of hands dials tones in so we can see and hear what's going on. Thanks for that! Also, a great intro song!
Mike - thanks for all your coaching vids for working on Offset Guitars...I have now 5 offsets in Fender - 1 Guild - 1 Gibson those are set necks...so I do not mess with them but your Fender videos have been very useful...now need to complete my Jazzmaster Build and my Squier Vi!
I'm scared to death that the Crush 100 won't be enough to keep up with loud drummer. Does it fart out easy? $569 for a 100 watt combo is a little steep.
As far as the Soda argument goes, this is how I see it : Crush is the soda brand & orange is just one of several flavors i.e. orange Crush, pineapple Crush, grape Crush, etc. Where as Orange is the brand and crush is the flavor, i.e Orange crush. I am not a lawyer, nor do I play one on television, but I do feel this is a valid argument. Any lawyers & attorneys please dissect and school me on How I am wrong here…
Thank you for cool demo / review. I am considering 50 into my home studio and I am wondering about effects loop. Is this effects loop parallel, or it works like INSERT(disconnects the dry path)? By other words, can I use SEND output to take signal to mix and in the same time record amplified sound from internal speaker by microphone? Do you know, whether the SEND signal is unballanced or ballanced? I know, what I am describing can be done by DI output with CRUSH BASS 100. But smaller 50 is exactly what I am looking for in terms of size and price. And sounds great. Thanks
FX loops are almost always Unbalanaced connections, but it is a buffered loop. If you don't connect to the Return of the FX loop, you will cut signal to the speaker. The FX loop is Series. The Headphone out can be used in a pinch for DI but it will have a cab sim on it that may or may not sound good depending on your tastes.
@@TheyCallMeRo i havent but want to. I found the Orange amps in a guitar store overseas and only travelled with my bass when i bought it. Im back in the U.S. for the time being and left my amp till I travel back. Im also curious on whats the difference if i connect my guitar to a bass amp.
@@SeanPierceJohnson huh? Sounds like a fender jaguar with a tremelo... played through a bass amp with a bass sitting forlornly in the background. I call SHAME!

Brilliant amps
Had to throw a like your way for playing "Big Bottom" to start a bass video.
Man, that t-shirt. Three Men and a Baby (and sequel) are killer.
Mike demoing an amp that has blendable distortion... Knew it wouldn't take long to hear Tired of Sex ;)
What an awesome video. Exactly what I needed to see!!
Christopher King glad we could provide some info-tainment

Thanks for watching Brian! I'll share this with Mike
“The bigger the cushion/the sweeter the pushin/that’s what I said”
more cushion for the pushin.
The looser the waist band, the deeper the quicksand, or so I have read.

Holds up very nicely actually. Big 15" speaker and the 100 watts is perfect for most small-to-medium size venues.
Records very well in studio too!
SeanPierceJohnson - O usually get a little bit in the monitors too. So 1 - 15 and 1 -12. Thanks SPJ, it's on my list.
I like it!!!! Way Kul guys!
I think the 25 only has a 8 inch speaker in it.

Very cool! Love the humor too. I've got a 50 coming in a couple days. They've sold out of the orange cabinet so I'm getting black :(
thanks David! enjoy it

Estimated cost of crush 50? Is it way too pricey?
I wanna know what this sounds like for a guitar.
I may just buy one for guitar playing. Bass amps are built/sound so much better.
some bass amps sound good on guitar...usually the tube ones. but the solid state one's are sometimes too clean IMO
can you let me know what the settings were on the darkside workstation for Time?
Crush 25 or rumble 15?
..just bought the Crush 25...it blew everything else away at the guitar store...and it is loud!!! I highly recommend it!

The "100" all the way; bassier!!
it is my favorite of the bunch
Kinda disappointed because the Fender Rumble 40 has a DI out Orange could have put one on the Orange Crush 50
nobody in comments knows the song. feeling old now.
which song?
Talk about bum cakes, my girls got em!
My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo. I like to sink her with my pink torpedo!
Big Bottom?
The big guy looked nervous 😳😳😳
Cocaine
Tap-approved rock
The tuner is useless in a live situation if can mute the signal during tuning.
An amp re view where you mic the room and not the amp is pretty worthless
it was ONE amp out of the THREE demoed.
Theres an extra bass in the background... kinda awkward and out of place holding that thing with too many stings.
you mean the BASS VI...sounded like a bass to me

@@SeanPierceJohnson but seriously, 30in scale with .095-.035 is hardly "bass".
Be nice to hear them played by a bassist and not by a guy with a pick
Don't be a moron.
Think he means in a sarcastic tone, play something with ya fingers lol.
