Run the heat, set to defroster full blast. It makes a big difference in coolant temperature when I track my FiST,
Nice bit of driving even without the LSD fitted. High Coolant temps again what temps are others running on the track are they also reaching 105+

Did you change from RP-X to RP-1 and if so was it to reduce the front brake bias or something else?
Have you tried a Mishimoto thermostat yet to see if it reduces your coolant temps?
Why didn't you go for a Quaife diff' in the first place? They seem to be one of the cheapest and most reliable.
Rp1 are less abrasive on the disc so thought I'd try them. I have a lower thermostat and it makes zero difference and a quaife just isn't good enough for what I want. Thanks stuart
I need some help if you don’t mind pal. My dad past away 2 years ago and always wanted a Jaguar XKR so I wasted all the household saving and got one in his honour. But found out all the rubber bushes are shot. What uprated make would you recommend.

You should notice a good difference with a turbo cooler buddy :) hottest mine got that day was 85 degrees coolant temp wise :) oil temp was 105 degrees 🤙

X57 had lots of issues as do all the X series turbos from pumaspeed. S280 or nothing for me.

With the GoPro, did you have Hypersmooth on for this day? I usually use Hypersmooth but that tracking around corners sh!ts me. Do you usually turn it off? I always think my footage would be too shaky if I did so don't take the risk.
Hi Liam. What I normally have is stabilisation on lowest setting but use wide-screen. The wider the view the less swing in the image. I left it on linear by mistake. I did try it completely off on track and it was surprisingly good but vlogging with it off was terrible and shaky so I had to stabilise the footage in software.
@@Sparkplugsteve Thanks for the reply. I haven't bothered to play around with it too much, I think I just keep it on linear and have Hypersmooth on for everything. I'll have a look at the settings when I do a driving video next. Thanks.

Hi Steve, which lufi gauge do you recommend I want on for my car but not sure which one to go for
So they both read the same sensors and have equal abilities that way. But the xf is visually more exciting with animated dial choices and logos. The x1 is pure and simple number data although you can switch the xf to numbers too. It comes down to do you want sweeping dials of the xf or not

I'm thinking of upgrading the car to an MP215 in the future as it won't affect it's warranty as it's from a ford dealership.

Best idea for theft prevention is either a disklok (I know, easily removable with the right gear)
You can opt to get a ghost immobiliser fitted (if fitted right, not bypassable)
Maybe a pandora alarm, but expensive.
Obd port relocation, but honestly if they want the car they'll take it.
Buy a Faraday pouch for your keys, between 5-25 on Amazon.

Yes your spot on. I don't normally drive like that on trackdays but ford fair is a special breed of both drivers and marshals. You can basically T bone someone at ford fair and they wouldn't care . First session I got oassed by cars in the corners so I joined in for the rest of the day.
