It's getting close to something similar. However, it should just be a simple soft take over. The owners are not anywhere close to the factories and products anymore. Think they have any real influence?

Why take up arms? People are free to start their own companies and do them the way they want to. if people aren’t happy, just leave your not being forced to stay in a place you don’t like. 😂 are people this stupid?

A message from our corporate overlords: “That’s so we can bring in all the illegal aliens to drive wages we pay down!” Lights cigar... “ who cares if poor people can’t afford housing and you pay more for everything! Buhahaha they don’t rent in our neighborhoods and we got walls around us but you little people don’t get one! Our kids go to schools that cost more than you get paid in a year so they don’t get around them poor folks”

Honestly, I wonder how it can be that there are so many who claim the USA is such a great country. I live in Germany, and from my perspective I am rather happy that I live here where, as a normal worker, I have very good rights. Here in Germany, for example, your boss cannot suddenly terminate the employment contract from now on, it is legally stipulated that your employer must give you 2 days of vacation for every month you work for him (this would mean for one year of work, you are legally entitled 24 days of vacation, which you can distribute over the year as you wish) and on days when I'm sick, my boss still has to pay me for the days if I bring the sick note from the doctor with me.

Agree. I work in a profession that requires a masters degree and pays poorly. I have to bill like a lawyer, however until a lawyer I only get paid for my direct time with the client. So on paper the $50/hour sounds nice. But again I only get paid for direct time with the client. I do no get paid for the hours I need to spend planning, emailing, writing reports, doing research or even for the continuing education I am required to do. The companies say I am being compensated well. Turns out I am making way less per hour than $50 if I add in all of the non billable tasks I am required to do. It is depressing. I paid with my money and my time to get into this profession.

Much of the modern income/wealth inequality can be directly linked to the steady decline in private sector unions, beginning in the 70's from roughly 60%-70% to now less than 10%. No increases in minimum wage, terrible benefits, less job security, either hiring immigrants or outsourcing jobs, all could have been prevented with strong unions.

Modern unions are the ones pushing for more immigrants. Unions today are just woke political grifters who collect six-figure salaries while doing less than nothing for White workers. They'll happily slash wages and benefits, in exchange for a "trans-inclusive" restroom or mandatory diversity & inclusion training, and then spend all the union dues on big political donations and protesting for "racial justice" and importing millions more migrants.

But you are either a child or have the memory of a goldfish, so maybe you get angry for a week or so when the economy crashes but the second a Democratic president gets things going again you go right back to corporate boot licking. There is no question Unions built America's Middle Class. And with the shrinking of Unions recently we've also seen the demise of the Middle Class in general. CEO's today make an average of over 300x what the average workers salary is. That's even worse than it was in the 1920's with the Robber Baron's. It's high time Unions began to make in roads again or we will steadily watch our Middle Class destroyed by the wealthy. Don't think the benefits you enjoy today came from the empathy of the wealthy! They didn't! Unions fought for that and spilled their own blood for it! Look up the history of the coal miners as an example!

May day is also to remember the anarchist who were rounded up and murdered with out a fair trial. they were blamed for the haymarket riots. but that riot was caused by the police. even the mayor of Chicago told the cops to leave becouse the protesters were being peacefull. and those people were fighting for your 8hr work day.
